Date of incident: Wednesday 3/15/23 approx. 10:45 AM.Incident: The inept employee's never asked me what services I wanted or reviewed prices or confirmed oil type. Instead the clearly new and soft spoken employee had the tech start draining the oil out of my 2012 Audi A4. I simply came in for a top off or to add a quart, whichever was needed. They never communicated this. When I noticed they were draining the oil I asked the new employee (a dark haired girl) what they were doing... she replied changing the oil. I said why? I never asked for this service. I then asked how much will this cost.. she told me approx $117... I told her this was unnaceptable as I hadn't planned on this, I have my German Auto shop change the oil and didn't ask for a complete a change... she told me she'd see if she could get authorization for a coupon code to reduce by 20%... shortly after a so called manager or at least the man in charge who had facial hair/partial *****... rough looking literally just yelled at me and told me they can refuse service to anyone and to leave... He said no charge but I'm not welcome back again. I tried to communicate with him and explain the situation... he clearly didn't know the whole story, but he refused to let me talk... just screamed at me... when I tried to get him to listen he threatened me... than said he's calling the cops... then he walked near me and another employee warned me to not engage or it would get ugly... the employee then walked to the office and hit the door with his fist and yelled... then he came back in front of car and said get out... I tried multiple times to explain I didn't want a free oil service and that wasn't the issue. I'd pay the discounted amount...but he would not listen at all... this was the most ridiculous handling of a situation I've ever encountered... it could have been handled easily with communication. In addition, the company refused to have the regional manager or ownership contact me despite my effort

I have a 2017 ***** CX3 with ****** miles on it. They changed my oil for me on 1/20/22. They said my battery was bad, even though I was not having any trouble with it. I believed them and paid them $160 for a 550 Amp battery. In November, the battery died and I had to call AAA for a jump.I took the car to my mechanic to troubleshoot the charging system and the only thing they could find wrong with it was the battery. I had to jump the battery 2 more times since then. I took it back to Jiffy Lube so they could honor the 1 year warranty and give me another battery. Instead, they insisted that my alternator was bad and wanted to charge me another $850 to replace it.I bought a battery charger and made sure the battery was fully charged that night. By morning, the battery was losing voltage. I took it back to my mechanic and had it tested again. My battery tester and my mechanic's battery tester both confirmed that the charging system was fine. I went back to Jiffy Lube to get the battery replaced. Conveniently, they insisted that I would have to come back in 3 days when the manager was there to approve the warranty replacement. It appears to me that this company are lying thieves. I know that one manager was standing right there because he said so the day before when they said the alternator was bad. Don't rely on this company for anything other than an oil change and you will be taking your chances at that. I will never use Jiffy Lube again. They are crooks.
