1 starBEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE!!! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE" IF YOU EXPECT A FAIR/REASONABLE RETURN/REFUND OR GOOD BASIC CUSTOMER CARE/SUPPORT. I rate this company (0) stars. Their RETURN/REFUND policy is an absolute "JOKE." Item purchased: April 6, 2025 / Delivered: April 10, 2025 Return/Refund Request made: April 15, 2025 After receiving (2) pillow shams that I purchased on-line; I noticed that the quality and fabrication of the items weren't what I was expecting. When I attempted to return said items; I was informed that the items were not returnable/refundable because I made my return request (2) days / (48) hours past their (72) hour deadline. WHAT??? Are you kidding me. Nowhere during checkout or post-purchase was a "strict" (72) hour return limitation made explicitly clear. Besides, I have never seen or experienced any "reputable" company limiting return requests to just (72) hours. When I complained to customer service, I was instructed to provide a photo of the items to which I immediately complied. Mind you, the pillow shams were still wrapped in their "original" packaging and shipping box. They were never used. Three (3) days later on April 18, 2025; I received a "generic" customer service complaint response: "We regret to inform you that we are unable to process your return/refund at this time; due to our (72) hour return policy." In addition, Ashley Furniture had the audacity to "THANK ME" for understanding and appreciated my "CONTINUED SUPPORT." I responded with the following statement: "No, I do not understand, nor do you have my continued support." The "bottom" line appears to be Ashley Furniture's only concern; not customer care/service.Review fromLeon B

Some other furniture imported have been identified and manufactured10/2022 in ***** for **************** by Ashley; California93120 Phase2 / TSCA Title-VI compliant.Ashley Furniture has not upheld its values and resolved these matters where the bugs can infest the wood structure of homes.Review fromAlysia B

1 starI have always purchased my furniture from Ashley I absolutely loved the service until I purchased a purple mattress from them. I was told it would hold a warranty with purple however because I purchased the floor model I was unable to purchase the Ashley warranty. This was fine with me because I was told by two store members this mattress would hold the purple warranty two months into owning it the mattress sags in the middle which is clearly a defect as my previous purple products never had this issues. I contacted purple and they directed me back to Ashley. I went months with the back and forth and Im still waiting on someone to help basically they took my money and washed their hands I now have severe back pain from this defective product that neither purple or Ashley are willing to help with! Its extremely dissatisfying that two companies I have been very loyal to now will not step up and help I spend thousands of dollars on this mattress and now Im spending thousands in chiropractor visits because I cannot get anyone to help with a defective product this is not the way customers should be treated when your store employees clearly stated it would hold a purple warranty otherwise I would have never purchased this product I would have gladly purchased one with a warranty instead they saw a quick sale and washed their hands. 1 starDO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOU EXPECT A FAIR RETURN POLICY OR BASIC CUSTOMER SUPPORT.I would leave zero stars if possible. The return policy is misleading and appears designed to confuse customers. I attempted to return a product about 2 weeks after delivery and was repeatedly told that no return could be accepted because I was outside of a 72-hour return window.Their website states: "We accept the return of Standard Shipping item(s) within 30 days of delivery (please note return shipping fees may apply)." This led me to reasonably believe I had 30 days to return the item. Nowhere during checkout or post-purchase communications was a strict 72-hour return limitation made explicitly clear in relation to my purchase.When I contacted customer service, I was forced to provide photos of the item and answer an excessive number of questions, which I complied with in good faith, assuming I would receive a reasonable resolution. Instead, I received the same boilerplate response each time: Its outside the 72-hour return window.I called multiple times. One representative even claimed a specialist would follow up with me personally. No one did. I followed up again, only to be toldwithin minutesthat there was still nothing they could do. At no point was I offered an exchange, store credit, or any genuine attempt at a resolution. Theres no record or confirmation that my case was ever escalated as promised.This experience feels deliberately difficult and potentially deceptive. I now have a product I cannot use, cannot return, and will have to resell privately in order to recover any value. 1 starWorst experience I've had buying anything ever. They make it impossible to reach a human being. The automated system *****. They won't deliver to your "room of choice" if it involves needing hoisting but don't tell you that until its too late. They are hours past delivery time frames and show up without legs to the furniture so they leave with your order. Then they make you wait another 2 weeks to get the proper order and won't compensate you properly. I will NEVER buy anything from Ashley ever again. Worst experience. 1 starI cannot believe you are still in business! Your over seas customer service is a joke! Called 4 times speaking with people begging to talk to someone in the US! Always told thats not possible! Then today when I called the corporate office in WI they STILL transferred me to their overseas support! We got a new Ashley card hoping to get new furniture! We ordered a couch and 2 recliners. Recliners delivery and delays was an embarrassment to you! We had to cancel. But the couch had already been delivered and still in the box and we wanted to return it. Of course that process was a ******* JOKE and after 3 calls over 2 weeks we finally got an email today (after my call AGAIN!) with return instructions...of COURSE stating we will be responsible for shipping it back ro ****** and cost!! Even after we were told 2 times it would be picked up from our house and today asking the rep to repeat to me that we would not be responsible for return shipping! Now I am stuck with a couch, no chairs and your stupid credit card that I wouldn't use if my life depended on it! I will close it the moment I pay off the couch!!Review fromLisa D

1 starPurchased an adjustable base with the matching mattress. Was told both had to be the same brand. Then asked to see bedrooms sets that would work with base and mattress. Purchased a recommended set. Delivery was delayed but I accepted that. Bed is assembled, base and mattress set up. Bed is 40 inches off the ground! No joke!!!!! No normal human is safe sleeping in such a set up. Ashleys solution- we will exchange the 8 base with a 3 upgraded base, different brand from mattress but thats ok our salesperson was mistaken when he told you you needed the same brand- even with a 3 base, the bed is still 35 inches tall! ******* to say the least! How does one climb into and out of a bed that high and god forbid if you fall out while sleeping! I had to have a contractor cut out the entire middle of this beautiful and expensive bed frame, including removing the storage drawers- the drawers were the only reason I bought this particular set- drop the base and mattress through the frame and attach the drawer face to create a facade to cover the drawer holes. Unacceptable that the sales guy said this base, mattress and bed frame could go together. Never will I shop Ashley again.Review fromMichael B

1 star****, lies and more lies. I will never shop with this company again. I was told that my delivery fee would be returned to me as store credit. Just try to get it! One thing they do, if you can get them on the phone is to act like they cannot hear you and hang up. They will keep changing the delivery date over and over and when it is finally delivered the delivery men do not even speak English.
