After reading the bbb rating and reviews. It seems like I have also been fooled into giving way too much money. I applied for a 800 dollar loan. Which was in Jan. I was to pay it off in 5 easy payments of ****** . When I looked at my contract after searching forever in my email..I found I was too was being at a rate of ******% that is not common. I ****** searched the average of apr rate is around 7_15%. I gave them my bank info to get the loan. I have called and chatted with support. I was given a run around. I saved the conversation of the chat support because he did not have complete sentences or made sense. I want to *** these people for quadrupling my payments. I'm unemployed and could use the money to keep. I lost my apartment because of this loan. Please help me. Should I close my account to these people for now and dispute my last withdraw they took?. Im new to being scammed.

On February 2, 2024 I took out a loan in the amount of $1000. I was making biweekly payments of $267.31. I paid $1603.86 by the time I began having difficulty making the payments. I contacted the company via email on May 31st informing them of the difficulty I was having, and I did not receive a response causing me to send another email on June 8th. I received an email from the company on July 5th stating that my wages will be garnished in 10 days. I can't afford to have my wages garnished. At this point, I have paid $600 more than my original loan amount. Unfortunately, they were not helpful when I reached out. I believe that contacting an attorney will have to be my next step.

To whom it may concern:My name is ***************** and I am writing because of some disturbing news I became aware of.I called customer service to discuss my intention to pay off my loan. They, as in customer service, forwarded my call to the *************I was connected with ******** in the ************* with the intention of paying off my loan. I encountered lots of hesitation in doing this. I will elaborate further below.******** began to dictate my loan agreement that ****** would be the amount to fully pay off my loan. I proceeded to dispute the given ****** since I paid 120 as an additional payment to further reduce the owed principal. Also, I stated that I also paid ****** yesterday, March 18, 2024 as my regular bi-weekly payment.I countered that I was offering ****** to fully satisfy and pay off my loan since, as a customer, I am unaware of how much of the ****** was being put towards the principal. At 6:35pm, ******** spoke with a supervisor (I suppose) after a few moments and stated that the ****** would suffice to fully pay off the loan. I verbally agreed and awaited a payment and loan pay off receipt (both of which were never received in my email inbox). I checked my bank account and Due to the "delay" and non-receipt of my payoff and payment receipt, I grew suspicious. I followed up with a call to customer service and the rep stated that the ****** was treated as "an additional payment towards the principal," therefore, my loan is still ***************, here is my plan, as a customer and lendee:With the aforementioned, I will file a complaint with the BBB and possible escalation outside of Post Lake Lending due to a possible "bait and switch" and deceptive business practices. Due to the above and aforementioned, I feel that my hand "is forced" to proceed with a complaint. I paid the ****** in good faith and with sole intentions to pay off the loan.

I am writing to you in regards to Post Lake Lending and to let you know about there predatory lending practices.. Back in October I borrowed $400 from them . I have already paid them back all together about $600 and they allege that I still owe them $579 dollars. That type of lending should be illegal and put out of business. I would not recommend them to anyone.
