Good day,
Thank you for contacting ********* Lending. We are sorry for any inconvenience that you've had encountered. We understand that you feel that there are unexpected charges associated with your loan. During the loan underwriting process, you were made aware of certain charges or fees related to the loan as well as the APR. I am writing to you in regards to Post Lake Lending and to let you know about there predatory lending practices.. Back in October I borrowed $400 from them . I have already paid them back all together about $600 and they allege that I still owe them $579 dollars. That type of lending should be illegal and put out of business. I would not recommend them to anyone.Business response

I borrowed 325 from ********* as I was in a bind. I wasn't aware that loans like this are predatory and exceed legal interest rates. I have now paid back what I have borrowed plus a little extra ($360) and can no longer afford to pay $90 every two weeks. I would like my account settled and closed. Thank youBusiness response

11/27/2023 The amount of the loan they approved me for was $550.00 they didn't tell me the payments until after I had signed the paperwork for the loan. Once I signed and they sent me the payment plan it said that they were going to charge me $4,350.63 or close to that back. I'm not paying $3,800.63 when I only was given $550. I haven't made my first payment yet but they are wanting me to pay $83.76 every week. That should not be allowed to charge that much in interest which was ******%Business response

I got a loan for $3500 on Nov 13 and because I did it over the phone I had to sign documents online to get approved and after I got approved there was no copy of contract I signed provided to me which was extremely shady. I had to ask for it just to find out I signed for a loan that had 678% APR with payments sent up to $874 every two weeks!! That would mean by end of loan Id be paying over $22k back! I am a single mother with two kids and already struggling financially! They deducted the first payment one day BEFORE it was scheduled for the same amount which means I am paying for an extra day of interest fraudulently since the APR at that time should be calculated at 13 days APR rate not 14 since they are deducted a day earlier! I brought this to their attention and they did not recalculate or adjust my account nor are doing anything about it and every day counts as its over $50+ in interest daily. They provide zero documentation of payments made and what is applied to principal and interest. I called and made an additional $1000 because I just want to pay everything back as this is just plain predatory practices and even after they deducted $874 plus the $1000 I paid they are stating I still owe them $5,016.70!! Ill never finish paying this loan! They refuse to take payments according to contract and are taking them earlier cause me overdraft fees and a negative balance with my bank! Zero documentation of payments made. **************** is not helpful in this regard. I just want to pay off the rest of principle amount and be done with this loan!
