We signed a proposal to have concrete work done on 7/18/22 . The work include finishing a patio and creating a slab for a small shed. The proposal was never discussed to be a contract and instead an estimate of the work to be done. We gave the worker a down payment of $1725. He said he would be here the following week to complete the job. We are now 2.5 months later with many lies from the owner and repeated times of saying he was coming but never showing up. This includes at least once a week saying he would be here to complete the work and also setting up times to come and preview the job and not showing up twice. His initial workers were also late to the estimate appointment and did not have the businesses own letterhead papers. When asked to get our deposit back and split ways he is refusing even though it was his idea to do so. Along with this no work has been done and he is saying it wont get done now until next year. Another issue is he says he wont do the work unless we pay him the full amount before he completes the work.Business response

just looked over the complaint. The job was completed and even did extra work free for the customer. When I left the job they seemed very happy with the quality of the work and the extra free work I did for them. At this point as far as I know everything is good and there happy if not they should have contacted me and gave me a chance to make corrections if needed. As far as a refund because the schedule was backed up for getting the job done from it raining so much........well the customer will have to talk to Mother Nature out my control.*****************
