      As a woman I am terrified of getting ripped off at car mechanics. I feel like I have a target on my back! But I am happy to report that after my first repair at Annen Brake I feel very comfortable and safe going there! I needed new brakes and my car was also making really scary noises underneath! Being cautious, I got the estimate first before approving any work. After I became comfortable with that, I scheduled the repair and it went flawlessly! They charged me exactly what they said and didn't find any other items to upcharge me, even on my 20 year old car. No surprise charges. No games. No delays. Like I said, it was flawless. For both the estimate and the repair I rolled right in and the car was serviced immediately, no excessive waiting, no surprises. At Annen Brake Service I feel like I'm stepping back into decades past when people treated people right and did the honorable thing. It's an old family business and feels like that. It's important to note that these guys are burly, rough, smart, hard-core mechanics, not smooth talking salesman. They can come across very rough on the phone, even rude, but they don't mean it! But for me, that's exactly what I want... I don't want to marry them or get upcharged by a silver tongued devil, I just want smart, honest, hard-working mechanics I can trust to work on my car, and I think I found that at Annen Brake Service. While I was there I saw other customers come in who had been using them for a long time and were having a great relationship. One woman brought them a gift while I was there. That says alot too! I'm happy they fix everything and not just brakes. I will call Annen Brake Service again next time I need a mechanic and will overlook it if they're gruff on the phone. Especially as a woman, its important to me to feel safe and well cared for at a car repair shop, and I do feel that way at Annen Brake Service.
