, In december I took my vehicle To traffic jam speed shop for some updating on my suspension system and a few minor repairs After two attempts of trying to fix my vehicle, traffic jam totally batched the repair and the car literally fell apart when it was on the trailer returning from their facility Again the coil over suspension they installed literally fail to pieces on the trailer Additionally the front axle was not installed properly the wheels are facing different directions As well as numerous bolts are missingFrom the work they installed wiring is missing and not connected they left my car outside in the rain for 3 weeks With no hood on it and rain getting inside of the motor and car for weeks I do not know if your website allows me to upload pictures If not please go to ****** I left a review for this location That includes pictures of what they did to my vehicle Clearly the work was done and an incompetent dangerous and shoddy manner I would like a full refund of the money I spent because clearly the work is defective I would also like to be reimbursed for the damages to my vehicle.Business Response

When ***************** came in, as explained to myself and my employees and and staff, he requested work on a limited budget (1st time), We offered him numerous opportunities and different ways to provide the proper ways to repair his **** **** 2 door sedan. After numerous calls to myself and to My ***************, he requested the work to be done in the manner in which he approved. This was actually done in person with his car up in the air.
#1- This wiring harness was already installed and we told ***************** how this car would have to be repaired properly and be taken apart completely to be repaired properly. But instead, HE CHOSE TO HAVE IT PATCHED TOGETHER.
#2- The front axle assy that we installed in the vehicle, is once again something that he purchased. From a company in ******** I believe. When he came in, We installed his parts that he gave us. When he came in a second time and it was pointed out that the front camber was incorrect, We measured it right in front of him and he called the axle company right in front of us, I spoke to the gentleman that made the axle for it, let him know the options and degrees or measurement that the axle is out of place. he said to take the axle out and have it sent back to him. That the axle was made wrong. This was done on ********************* phone, The day before he picked it up without paying his balance or for the parts we installed on the car. Once again, *****************, was upset that he had to pay to have us remove the axle, when it wasn't our part to warranty, but HIS part he provided. he did not like that. he said he would take it up with the company that made the axle.
#3- Funny, The day before and the day of pickup, the rear coil overs where approved by *****************, He inspected them, looked at them and said they looked good, to both *** and Myself, But not until a couple of hours AFTER the ********** *********** called him. , I called the *********** for theft of services, The rear coil springs where taken apart and pictured, That he responded with pictures to the Police officer. See, a Normal person, would call the owner and have a complaint. Not steal a car out of a parking lot with intentions of not paying a invoice. This was a pre-planned motive.
#4, This was staged, I spoke to ***************** on friday evening, He met me at the shop, we spoke. He lied to me and had said that the towing company broke down on the way to pickup the **** car. But he would be back tomorrow morning to pickup the car knowing I would not be there. Said he would pay my son at time of pickup. He pulled right up to the car, asked for help to load up the car, told my son and **** (employee) that he will call me and drove away in a hurry. Never had intentions of paying me. I have this on My ADT security video. Once again, never called me or messaged me or texted me. HMMMMM. A Man would have done that instead of putting my son and employee in jeopardy of this situation.
#5- Our conversation on the phone Friday night and the reason why he came in to talk to me was about money. He wanted me to carry him. Which I have recorded. He asked why I wouldn't carry him on payments. I told him I no longer carry payments for anyone. He said, You didn't have to chase me last time. WELL ACTUALLY , WE DID HAVE TO CHASE HIM. After numerous phone calls and texts and mailing invoices to his house, He finally did pay. But he never did keep his word on when and where he would pay. This is actually about making the whole payment on time. He had this same conversation with My girl *********************** who works in the office. Questioned the invoice. She sent him the invoice as usual. As we do all our customers. He forgets what he asks for . He even sent in HIS OWN WRITING, the work he requested. BECAUSE HE COULDT COME WITH THE *** TRUCK (IF YOU CAN CALL IT THAT) . We did everything he requested. I have 5 employees that will be going to court to explain all of this in detail with all of our paperwork.
#6- He failed to mention that there is labor and parts on the car that WE purchased, That HE requested. That are still on HIS vehicle, That he has taken without paying for. THAT IS PURE AND SIMPLE THEFT.
#7- Lastly, we are busy, We have **** Sq Ft Shop of good paying customers. Seems that the Good customers that enjoy us and that pay have no problems. I do not store cars for any customers. I have a sign in my Building right when you walk into the office that states that. I cannot leave cars inside the building waiting for a customer that doesn't pay for a *****. There is not a shop on Gods green earth that does that. HE KNOWS THAT. I told him that the last time the car was here. If you want the car inside all day and all night for all types of weather, That's $100.00 an hour plus, I cannot push your non running car inside and out all day and night. Once again, He knows that. He knows the size of my shop, knows how busy we are, knows his vehicle doesn't run , knows its a project, doesn't have exhaust and so many issues that need attention, He cant afford to pay his invoice now, let alone to tow it to my storage building or take up a ***** inside the building everyday. NO SHOP DOES THAT! THE **** ALSO STATES, NO CARS LEAVE WITHOUT PAYING. And him sending the vehicle with his list or note, *****, himself requesting those parts purchased and installed, besides our notes of dates and times of phone calls to him. As we do with all our customers.
I can go on and on. But my attorney has requested I not say anything more but to answer what is necessary to the BBB.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
he doesn't even have the proper information down as to what car was in the shop That shows you how detail orientated he isAmongst his lies are
He said that I staged the car to fall apart Who would do something like that??????
So I spent several $1000 To repair a vehicle and then sabotage it That is beyond stupid
The car ran and drove just fine when it got to his shop
Additionally the exhaust that's missing he removed One header pipe was on the car, the other one was laying in the back of the car
Again the car ran and drove fine it just needed 1 exhaust pipe
Now that it was at his shop it is inapprorable!!!!!!!!

He's also not being honest in the fact that I was explicit
Nothing was to be done to my car until such time He corrected the original problems he created
As far as the axle which yes I purchased the gentleman said
Please send the axle back if there is a problem with the axle I will correct it at no cost
Nineteen thirty four axles are not reproduced
Therefore the only way to get a axle is to have an original axle modify
But again, the gentleman clearly said If there's a problem send it back he will cover all expenses associated
He also has over one hundred positive feedback scores online and has been in business over sixty years
After showing the pictures to him and the members of my website
Pretty much it's universal if there wasn't a mistake with an axle Is a competent technician would have caught it immediately
He's also leaving out the fact
I never signed any authorization to complete anything
Until such time he corrected the problems to the proper standard
And again he never returned my parts
That vehicle is ninety years old The level of incompetence and And neglect that someone must have to leave a car outside
Is in the rain 43 weeks and completely ruined it

Finally, I had to call the ******************************* and file a police report
Against him
Additionally **************************** is investigating him for filing a boss police report
the fact he could even take the position that I staged my car to fall apart after I spent several thousand dollars to get it fixed is completely illogical
Bottom line the work was done in an incompetent and dangerous manner
I now have to go to another shop and have the car repaired
Is just to get the vehicle back to running condition
Everything that he did to the car needs to come back off and be done properly

I have 5 witnesses in my shop. Car was not there 43 weeks. His communication skills are inappropriate, he asked both myself and other guys in my shop to help him get exhaust done for him. He knew that the exhaust is, was and always was incomplete.
Te fact that he left without calling me, talking to me or corresponding on me is on him.
I answer all my phone Calls on speaker calls, so My security system pick it up and I have video footage inside and outside.
I will let court system civilly and criminally handle *****************. He could have handled this numerous ways. But chose his actions. I will let the court handle the rest. If he was so worried about anything. I guess he would have showed up numerous times. Only time he showed up is when he didn't have funds and begged for payments. I'm done here. Courts will handle the rest of this non-payer.
