I decided to place a good order with eatstreet because it stated That the delivery would take *****. It is Advertised as local delivery. After an hour I did not receive anything and the tracker on the platform states order still being sent. I emailed the company as they do not have a way to speak to anyone real-time. I did not receive a response but I read under the *** that you can cancel an order and request a refund if the food has not yet been made. I called the restaurant and they stated to me that they did not receive anything from eatstreet. I then emailed the company to cancel my order and request a refund. I placed another order directly with the restaurant and went to pick it up Myself. When I arrived they gave the order that I placed on their website to the driver as it was The same name. The restaurant only made one order which was the second one I placed. Now eatstreet is refusing to abide by their own policy, is refusing to issue a refund and will not respond to the email inquires I sent regarding a refund.Business Response

Repeated deception involving drivers route. Poor customer service and the individual ending the chat. They had no real answers for my concern, only excuses. I was told for an hour the driver was en route. I ordered at 6:01 pm to the ******************** location and I live on ****************************. I called the establishment 20 minutes ago and my order was already sitting, waiting, and getting cold. I will not recommend this delivery service to anyone. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I will not accept that response from them. I waited over 3 hours for food that was never picked up and dealt with two EatStreet **************** **** who treated me poorly. I called the business making my food and they said my pizza had been sitting there for 2 hours waiting on a driver.

This is the order #: ******** On 10/11/2024, about 7pm, I placed an order via EatStreet for a restaurant in my home city of ********, ** called '************************.'The order was for cheese curds and *******, which, based on the restaurants menu on the EatStreet app was to include Chicken, sun dried tomatoes, kale, warm bread plus the noodles and ******* sauce. The order arrived and the ******* was missing all of the included ingredients and sides other than the noodles and sauce. So the ******* was $23 for literally a plate of noodles and sauce that probably cost $3 to make. EatStreet was unwilling to make this right with the restaurant and put all of the burden on me, the customer, after having already been burdened with the wrong order. An insult to injury kind of situation. They claimed the restaurant wasn't answering but when I called they answered and said someone from EatStreet did called but didn't articulate what the issue was. It was either intentional or a language barrier thing, either way not my fault as the customer using their ***********************'s) service to order food. They offer the delivery service, they need to have protocols in place to make this right for the customer if something goes wrong with an **********************. Instead, I am sitting here with a $23 plate of cold ******* noodles and sauce after not eating all day and just getting home from work.Business Response

On 08/20 at 1:25 pm, an order was placed at Buffalo Wild Wings through the EatStreet site. Upon placing order, it was NEVER confirmed although a pick-up time was given for 1:46 pm. During my 30 min lunch break, I drove to pick up the order. After seeing the order had not been confirmed by the time of arrival, I called the restaurant to confirm order was received, at approximately 1:47 pm and I was told it was NOT. Spoke to manager ***********************, (**********, MA BWW) and he confirmed. I then wrote EATSTREET being it's their only form of contact, asking what's going on with the order and cancel it. After about 3 emails, they responded saying the order was accepted and could not be refunded. I refuted this and didn't have the time left on lunch to go back. When I called the restaurant after this, I was told by manager that the order still had NOT been received. Eatstreet responded within 8 min of my 1st email. Ever since being adamant about the refund and stating that BWW never received the order, they have stopped responding and refuse to do anything about the money they have literally stolen from me. They were even given warning that BBB would be contacted. Not sure if this site is even legit at this point. More awareness needs to be brought to this being that I'm definitely not the 1st this has happened to.Business Response

I ordered food on Aug 14th. The address I put in the order was ***************************************** The Driver delivered to ***************************************** I was actually at ***************************************** there was a typo. ******************** the one I mis keyed is not a valid address. It does not exist. Instead of verifying the address; calling; or notifying me that there was a problem with my order. They just delivered to *********************************** Which was not what I put into the order. When I got notice that my order was delivered but I had not received it I emailed them. they kept insisting that the order was delivered so I could not get a refund and sent me photo proof that they delivered. So then I had to go house by house and try to match up the address to the picture. That is how i even knew where they delivered it to since the address I entered did not exist. I then send the photo proof that the order was delivered to ***************************************** The last customer service rep **** said a supervisor would reach out in 24 to 48 hours. I followed up on 8/16 when I had not heard from anyone. They said no supervisor was on staff this was at 2:15 on a Friday. ****** said to follow up on Monday so I called again this time at 9:30 there was still no response. They said there was no supervisor on staff again and someone would follow up in 24 to 48 hours. I just want my money back. I realize I keyed the wrong address into the original order but they didn't even deliver to that address. Then even with proof that they delivered to the wrong address they refused to refund my money.Business Response

I place an order when I was sick at home. Instead of being delivered to the address I typed in, it was delivered to a business in a completely different city. Instead of trying to rectify the situation I was told there is nothing they were willing to do. Also if I had an issues to follow up with my bank. I'll be making sure to tell more people about this experience other than just a review.Business Response

I put in an order and two items were missing. Eatstreet live chat agent "*******" refunded me for one item but refused to refund me for the other and just said I needed to contact the restaurant and, IF the restaurant agreed to refund for the other item, they would have to contact Eatstreet and then Eatstreet would look into refunding me.Business Response

I have order from ***** ***************** located in ********, **. I waited over an hour for the food and made four calls to India ***************** asking about the order over $50.00. I then got on the chat and the person who is named **** and ******* continued speak in circles. I called India ***************** again and I was given the number which is ************. I spoke with a foreigner who actually told the untruth and stated that the people at ***** ***************** confirmed the food had been received. However, the employee at Eatstreet was not aware India ***************** was also connected to the call. I and India ***************** confirmed the food was never received, nor did the hotel clerk see anyone request to drop off the food. I was asked to provide an email address to make a report by Eatstreet. I said okay, but I need an employee Id and name to make my report with BBB. The phone call was disconnected promptly. I want my money it is stolen flat out. And I will hold India ***************** for requesting that meals be delivered by this company, because they got paid knowing I have no order.
