    They doubled premiums in one year.. no moving violations or accidents went from 200 per month to 400! I was not aware of the increase and did not approve, just stole money from my account without approval

    As a loyal ****** customer, I was easily lured into the Connect Insurance company for my home and vehicle. Last week, this all came crashing down when they tried to increase my auto insurance from $2600 per year to $5400 per year for adding a second teenage driver to my policy. Part of the increase was also them wanting to raise my rate by $1000 because I scrapped another driver's bumper while backing out of a parking space. I believe charging $5400 to insure a simple Toyota Corolla for 2 adult drivers and two teenagers is downright insurance racketeering. A ye.ar ago, they had already increased my home insurance by a third (I never filed a claim). All in all, they wanted to charge me around $800 per month for home and auto! What a ripoff! They made me so angry that I started shopping around immediately and found much, much lower rates for the same coverage with another company. I am literally saving thousands of $. My advice: stay away from Connect or be ready to be absurdly overcharged.

    Connect by AmFam is a horrible company to work with. I had two vehicles insured by them. No claims or tickets and they cancelled my insurance on both cars due to me not responding to a mailed letter from them. In this letter they wanted to know my permitted teens license status. Since I didn’t respond they cancelled my policies. When I explained what had happened they refused to reinstate me and offered no explanation other than they had a legal right to do so. Now there is a gap in my coverage and I am paying more than double because of the gap. I received no phone calls or texts letting me know I was cancelled. Extremely poor customer service. Never EVER go with Connect by AmFan. A truly terrible company. You don’t just drop good customers because you can.

    The worst insurance company ever to have to go through when one of their clients hits your car. They refuse to take accountability for the accident and damages. Claiming 50/50 to get out of having to pay the full price when their client admitted fault at the scene. The adjuster Sanan ************* was extremely rude and condescending and has the worst customer service skills. Reading all the horrible, negative and 1 star reviews for this company makes it obvious they have a lot of work to do to improve. Insurance fraud at its best with this company!!!!!!!

    Worst insurance company I have ever dealt with! I called to ask how much it would cost to add an international driver with an international license. After the call, they said that effective immediately, they were going to start charging me extra for that driver even though I had just called to inquire about the cost. I was forced to send an exclusion letter to avoid the extra charges, and now that I actually want to add the driver, I’m being denied the service. Run away as fast as you can from this company! Very misleading.

    Horrible company expensive prices for basic coverage never insure with them aside from lowball quote they quoted all rusted out parts on my truck and sent a list of preferred shops, that would not even touch my truck and of course they doubled the price of insurance sweet double the price and still not practically covering anything? Great! expensive as they are you think you’d get at least good coverage but nope.

    I phoned in early June to get an umbrella policy.They set up the policy and asked me to send them scans of my home insurance for rental houses and of the liability coverage for non-profit boards on which I served.I sent these immediately to the email address given.Later I received an email saying that they needed the information I had already sent them.I called and spoke to a new person and sent it to her.Then on July 25 I received a letter saying that my umbrella policy is being canceled as of August 15. The reason given was that they had not received the documentation I had already sent multiple times.I called yet again and they said that they didn't receive what I had already sent twice, I I sent it yet again and this time stayed on the line to confirm that it had been received. I was told that I would hear back. Now, two weeks later I have not heard back.I called today and was told that someone would call me back.Everyone to whom I have spoken has been polite, but their customer service system is broken.

    I will be canceling my home and auto. I sent my check combined for both home and auto. They only applied verification of payment for home. I received 5 days later that I had no car insurance. They gave me a run around and then charged me again by debit card the car insurance. After 16 days they finally said from the check applied it to my car insurance. I still have not gotten back the debit amount for the car. The auto depart doesn’t seem to talk to the home department. I am so disappointed that I now will be going to an independent agent.

    Costco Connect has the worst customer service as well as the car insurance services. Since I can't give you a 0 rating, here I am giving 1 start. I have submitted a Towing request, initially, it says the estimate is 60-90 mins. after 60 mins I got a text message the towing vehicle was at my location, but the towing vehicle was not at my location. I called them and they said the new wait time is 20 minutes -- again no show-up --- again called them and they gave me the new time of 36 minutes and then they arrived after 60 mins. They took a total of 3 + hours and my location is ******* ** ***** near I-35. I wondered, costco service is this bad in major cities like ******* **, what if I struck in remote areas? I switched from ***** to Costco Connect for just a $120 difference in 6 months of premium and they made me realize this today. I used ***** for more than 9 years and switched to Costco Connect for my new Tesla car. In those 9 years, I never felt bad about ***** services and customer service. After my today 3 hours wait, I realized and decided to go back to *****. Costco Connect Chat representative: ***** ****** ******** ****** *******
