Had a plumbing problem that caused our house to flood. It's been 7 days and we have been trying to reach our adjuster to move us out of the house while possibly black mold continues to grow. I have two babies under 5 years old in my home, one has asthma. We have called and emailed multiple occasions, over multiple days with no response. Please do not choose this insurance if you have kids that you care about and a family. Please contact Costco and let them know this is how they treat their customers if you are experiencing this too. If you haven't bought this insurance, don't do it! We have been trying to reach three different people, even waited online for two different operators to try to reach them. Please reach out to your state insurance commissioner and the **** to file complaints. I'm ready to go to consumer affairs next. Next I'm about to hit my social media with over 10,000 followers to let them know what this is like dealing with this company. I paid for additional living expenses in my policy, it's fraud not to cover it. My contractor can't start working on my house until we are out. I'm surprised a class action hasn't started yet looking at all of these reviews.

This insurance had denied most of my claims and paid very little when I needed a new roof. I am in the process of finding another insurance company today. If I could give this company a zero I would do exactly that because they like taking your money but deny just about every claim or pay as little as they can get away with and I am really disappointed that ****** is even associated with such a terrible insurance company.

Connect by American Family Insurance sold my policy to ******** this year. They provided a 60+ policy document including a page detailing the changes between the policies. This page failed to identify the addition of an Actual Cash Value amendment to my policy. This is a signficant change, I find its omission to be an incredibly dishonest business practice. The bait and switch to a lesser policy at an increased rate without proper disclosure is an abhorrent business practice.

Affiliated with Costco **** **** **** called 7/8/2024 about how my billing statement for 5/21-6/24 has been revoked and. Ms. Madeline and she was not acknowledging any of the issues I have been having in terms of the unethical practices please refer to my ***** ******** ***** ******* ******** and all she said is my insurance would be cancelled

If you're a Costco member, consider reaching out to Costco to request they reconsider their sponsorship of Connect Insurance. My experience with their home insurance adjuster has been very poor. They don't respond to calls or emails and seem to be delaying my claim. I filed my claim in February 2024, and it remains unresolved. Despite calling the adjuster weekly, I have yet to receive any response.

Connect Home Insurance Company is dishonest, untrustworthy. This company uses ****** as a selling gimmick to sell their worthless policies, which are not worth the paper it's written on. If you have a claim be it small , or large you are not protected. The Connect company is synonymous with empty promises like "The check's in the mail" and "I'll call you tomorrow." And..

They lost our mortgage company check but they cashed it a week prior. Wanted another $1,000 to continue the policy while they looked for it. We provided check number and they made their incompetence our problem. Truly took a day to go through mouse mazes of ***** ******* ******** and Connect.Because they never asked for anything but check number which we got for them until the mortgage company was closed when they wanted pictures of front and back of check the saga continues They are so incredibly incompetent

I was in real crisis after experiencing a disaster in my condo. I have never filed any claims or interacting with insurance companies. William ***** was my representative, we communicated via texts or phone calls. God bless him, he really role played like a therapist for me, very understanding, friendly, listened with compassion which eased up my tremendous amount of stress. He constantly followed up with me and was very informative, guided me to do everything I needed to do in with simple instructions and got me the money I needed to fix my problem. William ***** helped me to focus on getting my life in order again without adding additional stress or wasting time on dealing with insurance company! I would like to appreciate everything he did for me, thank you! I truly loved CONNECT insurance more than before.

Worst insurance company Ive ever dealt with! Had storm damage to my vehicle and house. Had to fight tooth and nail to get about half of what my vehicle was worth. Finally got tired of fighting them on the vehicle and settled. Ended up fixing it myself for about what they gave me. My house they really screwed me on. I had a quote for 30k they said it was only 8k in damage. Said Id need an itemized list to show the cost. I asked where their itemized list was and they said they didnt have to provide one. I ended up with a check just a little over 1k. Again ended up fixing it myself. As soon as I cashed check went back to **********. The customer service is a thousand times better. Never should have switched.
