Sonnenberg Builders work quickly and efficiently. I needed a renovation done fast and they designed and completed my renovation within three months. They really helped us out! I will definitely seek their services again. They added a first floor laundry room and bathroom, remodeled a bedroom, installed a few new doors, and new windows (with are the best windows I have yet to see in a house). Brad was more or less lead on our project and he is very personable and made it his goal to ensure we were very satisfied. His Dad Kevin did a lot of work as well and we were equally as happy with him. Nothing is perfect however and if I HAD to criticize anything it would be communication. We bought several new windows and because of the pandemic it took a LONG time for the windows to arrive. I wish we would have received monthly updates on what was happening. I also mentioned I could paint. Well be careful about saying what you can do because that may be interpreted as a contracted category. Because I said I could paint, I was expected to complete anything they would normally assign to a paint contractor. I guess painting contractors do a lot of finish work which I know almost nothing about. Because of this, I was left with an unfinished hallway (where a door was) and caulking throughout the project. I was very disappointed that I had to hire ANOTHER contractor to finish the hallway that was left unfinished. I wish that when I said I can paint that Kevin or Brad would have asked me if I understood what that meant. Had I understood the responsibilities of a painting contractor, I NEVER would have said anything. Trust me, in future projects I will keep my mouth shut! These are VERY small things and above all we are VERY pleased with the quality of Sonnenberg Builders. They treated us like family. Above all, they are trustworthy people and I highly recommend them.
