The worse communication and follow through. On Monday I called to confirm no money due. Individual on the phone confirmed a zero balance. I asked for a statement for my records. She said she would email it. Next day, still no email so I call again to ask. I'm told it takes up to 48 hours to send the email. OK, I wait. It's been 5 days and no email.Americollect, Inc.

I called two years ago to straighten this out. When I was seen in the ER at the hospital, the billing dept for the Ear physician group made an error in my insurance ID. My insurance paid for all bills from the hospital, but not the ER physician group because they billed with wrong ID number. Fast forward to collections, where I was never notified of this. Once I saw the issue in my credit report, I called Americollect and the ER physician group, which blamed me for the error. Anyway, it was taken care of and fast forward 2 years and my credit score is even worse because they still have this amount listed as unpaid. I am beyond furious how these groups can operate like they do and ruin a person’s credit. This is the only negative on my report and I have been paying all bills and credit cards in full every month for almost 10 years.Americollect, Inc.

I logged in to pay a bill. I was told I had to call and give them my credit card number. I have been ripped off too many times to give anyone my banking info. They will not allow me to pay online through a secure portal until after they report it to credit agencies. This company just wants to hurt people however it can. Bad idea. I will not be paying ever.Americollect, Inc.

Due to the status of certain accounts, they may not be immediately reflected on our online portal. Our online payment portal is primarily for collection accounts that ********************** is actively pursuing. Medical debts with an initial reported balance of under $500 are no longer included on credit reports. We acknowledge the concerns associated with sharing credit card information over the phone. I have been receiving repeated calls from this Americollect Company to pay or make payment arrangements for ****************************. After making paying arrangements you would think that the calls would stop not so with Americollect . They call continuously asking the same question about how I plan to pay so why make arrangements when you are liable to get a call the next day with the same questions. So update your software Americollect and stop the annoying phone calls.Americollect, Inc.

I think America collect is a fraudulent company I looked at my credit report to see that America collect was trying to collect $992 on a very old 2002 doctor bill so when I called them to see who I needed to pay to get it off of my bill they were more concerned with them getting $374 to look and see what they could get removed off of my credit report not what I owed supposedly on the this claim on my credit report I think this is a fraudulent company beware I also had all the information showing when my insurance paid the claim and information at the hospital showing that I didn't know anything everything had been paid and they even clarified that the insurance had paid their part and so I need help please I need this off my credit reportAmericollect, Inc.

Incompetent service and negligence of consumer credit reporting. I Worked for 6 months providing paperwork to prove I did not owe anything on this medical bill. They kept saying they would return to original owner of bill to have them submit claim again. After 2, 3 way calls to my insurance with AmeriCollect, 2 EOB’s, and a report from insurance proving my out of pocket max deductible had been met, they still are reporting negatively on my credit, even though I gave information to a manager before the date of their stated credit reporting. I have worked with them over 6 months and they never sent back to original creditor to resolve and get payment to this day. My insurance was never billed, I never owed anything for this bill, and they wouldn’t do their part to solve the issue they were paid to take care of.Americollect, Inc.
