I had a horrible experience at Kohls at **********************************. *****, a supervisor told me that she was quitting August 31st and did not care if I called corporate. She was rude, unhelpful, cared more about a customer who had a return without a receipt, and called loss prevention, when asked if either she or Oriana, could help me. Makes no sense for two people to be helping one, when I am in line waiting. I was not greeted or acknowledged. ******, Store manager refused to help me. On August 14, I bought 3 restaurant gift cards ($25 ******, $25 Buffalo Wildwings, and $25 Mix it Up 7) from inside Kohls that were supposed to be activated 24 h ours later, which would be August 15. The next day, I tried to use the Mix It Up card at ***********, and they said it declined and was not activated. That gift card covers 7 stores, **********, Auntie Annies, ******, ****, ***********, Jamba, ********. It did not work. I used my own credit card rather than hold up the line. I came again the next day on August 16, and the same thing happened. The card Declined. I checked online and all three were invalid or either not activated. Brought my receipt and the unused product, the gift cards, in the store and was treated worse than the lady who was holding up the line because she had not receipt for her return of merchandise. Both ***** the supervisor, and ****** were hovering over her like she was a celebrity, while ignoring me with product and valid receipt in hand. ****** refused to verify the validity of my complaint and could have easily checked to see the gift cards were not used. He rudely denied my refund stating the cards were activated which was a lie. Calling the off shore 800 **************** was a joke. They told me that while the third party gift cards are sold in Kohls, they refund or replace if inactivated, and for me to the call 800 on back of each gift cards. Absurd. If a gift card fails to activate after 48 hours, and is unused, should be refunded
