      Terrible i would not use this service again in my life and working with my employer to remove me from their services. every month my sons 4k tuition bill gets denied i end up having to call they wait on hold for 10 mins no manager available then i get a call back at 730 in the morning. they state the tution bill from my kids school does not have enough information. When it states the school year, my kids name, the reoccurring payment date every single month on it. the schools tax code and everything.

However, during this time of year, call volumes increase due to upcoming deadlines, which is not typical for most of the year. We sincerely apologize for the time it takes to get through calls at this time of year. We are committed to working with you on this case and will ensure a prompt resolution.

      There should be an option for zero stars - EVERY single claim I filed, irrespective of how complete, was denied. Now, my previous employer had the most inept HR department of any company I've ever seen, so it isn't surprising that they would pick a provider like this: Pay a small fee, get to list the benefit, then never pay a dime to the employees.What a scam.

      As with so many other reviews of EBC, I ran into the same problem: They NEVER approved a claim. Not one. Their "reasoning" was completely arbitrary, to the point of being random. My previous employer was not the most ethical corporation, by a long shot, so it appears they were attracted to this service: They could claim they offered reimbursements as a "benefit," but then would never actually have to pay out a dime. The previous company they had, before EBC, literally went out of business on Dec 31, 2024, leaving every claim unpaid. EBC is a scam. Period.

      Very disappointed with this company's business practices. Takes forever to talk to someone by phone. A lot of work to get claims approved. My job changed to this company from ****** ******* *******...what a huge mistake. The two companies are like night and day. Not sure how much we saved in doing this but I'd rather pay a bit more for better service.

      Have had this account through my husbands employer since the first of the year. Not able to register account on their website due to a passwords do not match error no matter what I try to use as a password. We have been saving the money on the account to use towards a procedure my husband is having. Tried to use the card and am told it is invalid. Called the customer service line and they refused to speak to me because my husband hasnt gone on the website and given them permission to do so but did verify our card is invalid. Just had to pay a fairly large copay out of pocket because of this. This is apparently not a valid company. My husband will be speaking with his companys benefits coordinator about this issue and hopefully they will change providers.

For security purposes, we require the employee whose employer offers the benefits (in this case, your husband) to fill out an authorized user form for us to release information about specific claims and/or the Benefits Card to someone else.       Well....My opinion is not a good one. I have about had it with EBC and its process. They randomly ask for documentation to prove an expense was related to a Doctor visit. Which charges they need documentation are completely random. If you do not provide documentation exactly how they ask for it(random as well) they will turn your card off. I will not be re-upping my Flexible spending account or I will cancel it if possible. I refuse to do this dance any longer as the small tax savings benefit is not worth the hassle. EBC holds our money, makes interest on it until we spend it. What happens to any unused balance after march 15th? EBC keeps it. I refuse to allow EBC to make another nickel off my hard earned money. I’ve already heard the “in order to maintain the tax benefit…” spiel. It’s our money and I feel they are holding it hostage. When we use it the way we are supposed to we get flack and are asked to justify the expenditure. My charges are clearly related to doctor’s visits… I am not taking my co-workers out for lunch as *** ****** cafeteria. If i could give 0 stars i would.

      I originally called in for help regarding a rejected receipt for a rendered medical service. This particular provider is notoriously hard to get a receipt from, so I was upset that my uploaded receipt was rejected, as it had all the necessary information. I spoke to Brynn (hope I spelled that correctly) and she was very nice and SO helpful! She confirmed that the receipt was sufficient and sent it back for further review. I was very relieved she was willing to send it back again because I may not have been able to get a different receipt from this other company. She saved me countless headaches and was very professional. She even called me back the next day to make sure I knew that the documentation was reviewed further and accepted. 10/10 customer service, Brynn :) Thanks for the help!

      I would give this company NO stars if I could but that's not an option. My company made a huge mistake signing on with these ******. I have used my FSA card only twice and they gave me a hard way to go both times. They make you jump through hoops to do extra work so that you can spend your OWN money! My transactions were at Care MD and Pearle Vision yet I had to PROVE with documentation both times that they were legit medical charges. Really? I thought I could get groceries at Pearle Vision! ******!

      My name is *************************** today I tried to login to my account and kept receiving an automated voice recording on their 800 number selling a medical device. I am trying to reset my password and instead was hung up on in a rude manner at 6:47 pm eastern time by one of their representatives. I would like a call back. My company uses this company as a provider, and I felt that it was very unprofessional as I explained I was not in need nor interested in a medical device. Now my account is locked and I cant reach anyone!

      I am a school teacher who retired after 30 years. EBC shut off my card in June, with over $2000 dollars in the account. They tell me that the account is a "use it or lose it" , so they get to keep all my money. Before this they are always denying claims requiring ever more paperwork and threatening to shut off the card. To me, they are theives, stealing over 2000 dollars of my money with no recourse. For HR, avoid this company under any circumstance, they will cheat your employees and give your company a very bad name.

      Absolutely terrible. They pick and choose what documentation is allowed and a lot of times will ask for your full explanation of benefits to explain why you had a doctors appointment. Why does it matter? Youre not my insurance company and its none of your business. They gate-keep YOUR money. My husband and I will be finishing out our year and switching over to his plan at his company. When looking for a job, if they use EBC itd be an automatic no. Terrible, terrible company.
