Canceled my booking at the last minute, told me to dispute the charge with my credit card company which seems very suspicious, then ghosted me and my credit card company. They owe the bank a response in the next 2 weeks but I'm scared they won't make the deadline, and their email address no longer functions?! Presumably scam.

Asked me to cancel my reservation due to some mysterious emergency then refused to give me my full refund. Would not reply to me on Airbnb chat or via email. Im pretty sure their entire business model is to collect nonrefundable fees. Avoid them at all costs, they will not treat you with respect!

I booked with them for a trip and they emailed (thankfully a month in advance) that they were closing immediately and to cancel with our third-party booking site (in our case, Hotels.com). I did so. Then the next day they emailed again saying to dispute the charge with our credit card company. Why can't they just refund? I'm a little anxious because when I first made the booking the company reached out outside of hotels.com and sent a thing where I had to upload my license photo to some website for identification. I really hope they don't steal my identity or something.

TERRIBLE! DO NOT BOOK! WE WERE WAITING FOR OVER 4 HOURS TO GET INTO A AIR BNB HOSTED BY THEM JUST FOR THEM TO TELL US THAT THEY DO NOT OWN THE AIR BNB ANYMORE! LITERALLY WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY PLEASE DO NOT BOOK

I wish I could give them zero stars!!! Don’t ever book with them. This is a scam!!! The canceled our Airbnb minutes befor check-in. They left us stranded in Cleveland and ruined our who experience. Didn’t offer a concession for the trouble. Bad customer service. The lady, Cha, could care less about what happened. If they come up on the Airbnb App, do not select. You will be glad you did!

Stay away! Filthy apartments, lack of flexibility on check out and, perhaps, the worst customer service Ive experienced in the hospitality business. After complaining about the state of the bathroom they responded we will make the team aware. The business concept is brilliant but theyre lacking the essentials of guest satisfaction. They thrive for a 5 star experience but they do not come close to 0.5.terrible!

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. Tried to rent a room in *******. Showed up to the room, and there were people in it already. Had an incredibly uncomfortable interaction with them (understandable...someone tried to enter the room *they* had already rented.) Called Frontdesk support, waited on hold with them in the lobby for 20 minutes. Was told I could rent a smaller room in the same building for the same price. I did not like this, and I also had somewhere to be, and had already waited 20 minutes. Luckily, I had a friend living nearby and I could go to their place. It's been 18 hours since this ordeal began, and I still haven't received a refund. Frontdesk appears to be trying NOT to refund me. I of course will be pushing until I get the full refund, but the 45 minutes I've now spent on the phone and the few hours I've spent trying to negotiate with customer service digitally is time that I will never get back. TOTAL SCAM VIBES here. I reiterate: STAY AWAY

I firmly believe a one star rating for Front Desk is way to high of a rating. I was locked out of my room (with all my belongings) and contacted the help desk to be let in. Time and conversation is as follows. * 15 minute wait time - Let’s see what we can do for you. * 15 minute on hold time - Sorry we do not have anyway to let you into your room. We can provide you with another room at no cost. * 15 minute on hold time - Sorry for the miscommunication but it’s not free but you can pay for another room since we can’t let you into yours. Also we can’t book said room so you’ll have to hang up and book it yourself. Asked about locksmith. Put on hold. * 10 minute on hold time - A locksmith can unlock your door for $200 and could be there within 3 hours. How are you, Front Desk, INC., going to call yourself a legitimate business when something so basic as a spare key is no where on the premises. And the help desk HAS NO CLUE on what to do. “Here’s a free room for the night since we messed up and can’t handle a small task as to have a spare key to your room”. “Oh wait never mind it’s not free it’s going to be another $150”. “Oh and one more thing you’ll have to hang up from me and book it yourself because I can’t help you.” Locked out late at night with no belongs for them to tell you they can’t help. CANT HELP WITH SOMETHING SO SMALL AS A LOCKOUT. PATHETIC!

I tried to check in to a FrontDesk property in ******* (leased on AirBnb website)at 9 pm on a Thursday where I had booked for a week. A note on check in said the usual lock had been broken and replaced with a regular key lock. There was no dead block which could be secured from the inside. Not a single blind on the windows could be lowered for privacy. It did not feel safe to a 72 year old single woman. I was on the street dragging a suitcase trying to find a place to stay. I contacted them that night. On Saturday they offered to change the lock. I had already headed back home which I told them. They credited me with half the total, costing me over $1,200 for a unit I never stayed in for SAFETY reasons. I did make the decision to leave lightly but could not convince myself I was safe given the lock and complete lack of privacy with no blinds. It created a traumatic several days for me and made it impossible for me to do what I went to ******* to do - take care of an infant for a few days. AirBnb should be ashamed they partner with Zencity aka now Front Desk..

I booked a Front Door property through Air BnB in *****, ** and needed to cancel 2 weeks out and this company denied even a partial refund, taking $868 . I wouldn't go NEAR this fraudulent company that is obviously so low on bookings that they can't afford to refund your money. And an F rating by BBB? RUN!!!!
