I purchased an item (M18 8.0XC Starter Kit) on Jun 2, 2021 at 5:27 PM from ToolUp, an authorized Milwaukee Tools dealer.Milwaukee Tools says that they provide a 3 year warranty on my battery model.I tried to go through the warranty process, but they said that my item is out of warranty. But it is still within the 3 year warranty of the purchase date. I did send/upload my proof of purchase.I would like Milwaukee Tools to honor their warranty.The issue pertains to my Service Order #SV6162597 from Milwaukee Tools.Business response

Subject: Complaint Regarding Defective Milwaukee Products Purchased from Village Hardware Dear Milwaukee Customer Service,I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with two recent purchases of Milwaukee products, which have proven to be defective and have impeded my ability to perform my job effectively.On January 4th, 2024, I purchased a pair of Milwaukee FREEFLEX Men's Large Black Insulated Bib Overalls, Model #***B-LR, Item #******, from Village Hardware located at ************************************** *****. Since acquiring them, I have encountered significant issues with their quality. Specifically, both hip pockets have ripped, causing items placed within them to fall through the bib and become stuck at the bottom. Additionally, the right strap has become knotted, resulting in discomfort and tightness on that side. These defects are unacceptable considering the price paid for the bibs and have hindered my ability to perform my job adequately.Furthermore, I also purchased a Milwaukee PACKOUT Organizer Impact-Resistant Poly with 10 compartments, Red, Item #*******, Mfr #**-22-8431, from the same location less than a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, the carrying handle has snapped, causing injury to my hand and resulting in bleeding. This incident demonstrates a severe flaw in the product's design and manufacturing.Given the aforementioned issues with both products, I am formally requesting either a full cash refund or replacement for each item. As a customer, I expect products from reputable brands like Milwaukee to meet high standards of quality and durability, which unfortunately has not been the case in this instance.I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to a swift resolution. I bought a Milwaukee Miter saw for over $600, only used it a few times and the saw stopped operating. Milwaukee has a 5 year warranty and I sent it in to be repaired under the warranty.They refuse to fix it and claim it is been "abused", I never abuse my tools and no one else uses my tools. I have only bought Milwaukee tools and now I am going to switch to Dewalt. I had a Multi tool from Milwaukee that had the same issue and I bought a new one. I would like Milwaukee to honor their warranty!!Business response

Milwaukee tools has a three year warranty on batteries for all their tools. I received the batteries eight months ago that broke out of the box. Ive been trying to get Milwaukee to warranty it for me. I send it in and theyre telling me theyre willing to repair it for $103.00 even though its covered under warranty, so I contacted customer service to ask them why and then all of a sudden they send the battery back to me stating that its not one of their products and they cant do anything about it so now Im down $120. This is extremely upsetting Im well with in my rights to have ************ repaired under their batterie warranty they will not fulfill.Business response

BBB we have responded to the customer request twice and the customer has refused our assistance. Please review the below response from the customer.
Wow only took almost 2 months, But i think i'll let the Better Business Bureau handle it, they done have my case open that i started against Yall, cause i have done sent that info in 5 times an not a **** thing has happened, that's why the Better Business Bureau and my Lawyer will be handling it, thank you for your time.

Sent tool for repair service as per their instructions on web site . I received a return postage shipping label via Purolator and sent item to them. Purolator tracking shows they received item on Feb 5 2024 in the morning. They advertise item will be repaired and returned in 7 to 10 days. After hearing nothing from them after 2weeks ,I contacted them via email for an update. They responded that they couldnt find my order or item I tried contacting them by telephone ,only option, leave message and my number a they would give a call back. This never happened so I tried repeated calls without success. I then sent several emails with every bit of information they had requested and requested a reply asap. I suggested that since they cant find my tool ,they can send me a new replacement. This tool is no use to me while in their possession .Business response

Tools repair. My tools was sent in last year. And it showed shipped on the status. But no tracking information at all. when I talk to the customer service, she told me the item was delivered and suggested me to contact the purolator. The purolator told me it was sent back to the sender because the address was not clear. Now I am supposed to talk to the customer service again. This time I tried to call again but no luck after over hours waiting . I couldnt talk to anyone but left message a few time . No one call me back so far . Where is my tool? Milwaukee does give 5years warrenty to the tools . But this repair already took 4 months and I dont know how much longer it will take.Business response

I had purchased a 3xl heated jacket. The jacket malfunctioned. I sent the 3xl jacket in for repair. They found the jacket didnt work and they replaced it. I received a size large jacket. I contacted them and was told to send the size large jacket back in. I paid $47 to ship the jacket back to them. They never have sent me the 3xl jacket. They are very rude and not helpful at all. I had received a warranty replacement but had to send it back because it was the wrong size. All I want is a size 3 xl like the one I sent in.
Now when I call they tell me that I never sent in a 3xl.
