I visited Volkswagen Milwaukee-North on Thursday April 20, 2023, and was assisted by ***************************. I informed him about all of my concerns, including that the seatbelt in the 2nd row of my vehicle (driver side) did not work (unable to fasten). This concern was also addressed with my warranty provider (Silvercrest). I was informed by ***********, that this was a safety concern, and it could be taken care of. During my visit at Volkswagen, **************** was persistent in the fact that my seatbelt was not covered under my warranty and refused to initiate the claim with ***********, because he was absolutely certain, it was not covered. I continued to reassure his that I have multiple warranties available and that this was a safety concern and should be fixed. I had just purchased my 2019 Volkswagen Atlas from Carvana on April 1, 2023, and notified both Carvana and Silvercrest immediately. Silvercrest, authorized me to take my vehicle to Volkswagen North, to have it serviced. After ******************** refusal, I contacted ******* again and discussed this matter and they informed me of the existing warranties and encouraged me to inform ****************, to look into my case further. Unfortunately, my seatbelt was not repaired. On or around May 10, 2023, I contacted *********** again and spoke to **** (representative) regarding my seatbelt. **** informed me that no one from Volkswagen ever contacted them to initiate a claim for my seatbelt. After I provided her with ******************** information, she contacted ****************, but was unable to speak to him. **** informed me that she left a message and encouraged me to follow-up with ****************, so that a claim can be initiated. On or around May 12, 2023, I contacted **************** again and was unable to speak to him and left a message and requested a return phone call. A return call was never received. I have followed up with **************** (manager) on (2) occasions regarding this and a return call has not yet been received.Business response
