      Jim Laabs Music tells they only do Exchanges. Not Returns. After that they refuse to answer with solid written information to complete exchange, meaning to write me with what I will recive on my customer account after virtually instantly returning joker instrument.

      No stars for this review! I ordered my daughter a bass guitar for her 21st birthday. I got a confirmation and the $ was immediately taken out. After 10 days I called and asked when it would come, I was transferred to a man with an absolute miserable attitude, he said he tried to email me but I never got the email. He proceeded to tell me, “you know what since you didn’t answer the email I’m refunding your money and you can order it from somewhere else” I was floored that a business owner could speak to a client this was. STAY FAR AWAY FROM JIM LAABS!

      Ordered an ophicleide instrument 9 December 2022 through the online page. Received a receipt via email. I called to confirm due to not having a delivery date. I was told it would be in in January 2023. I was strung along until 19 June 2023 when I finely cancelled the order, due to the shipment being delayed again to July 2023. Hope I get the $1565.00 back. I was super patient, understanding and cordial during all communications. When I cancelled the gentleman stated he cancelled it. I then asked if I would be refunded my money, he became aggravated with me, raising his voice. Stating that he canceled the the order and he did not know where I was coming from. After several request he stated he would refund the money. Too bad, my son really wanted the instrument for Christmas and still does not have it.

      I had a great experience with Mr Troy & staff,and my Euphonium arrived very quick and in good condition. The whole process was done online, they also helped me with financing! I Will be doing busy with Jim laab again

      I ordered a trombone from them and they immediately took the money from my credit card. It took almost 3 months for me to finally receive the horn. Troy told me that he would credit my card 30$ because of the delay. He then asked if I would accept $20 due to the high cost of shipping. That was the last that I heard from him. I have sent several emails asking about the refund and have had no response. I would recommend that you avoid doing business with this company...I will certainly never buy from them again!!

      In April 2022, I ordered and paid $245 for a Piano chair and never received it. I was promised in July by (Audra) that it would be shipped to me no later than end of September or beginning of October. I told her that if I did not receive the chair by end of October that I wanted a refund. I still have not received a refund or the chair.

      They (Troy) called the day after my online purchase to say he was going to charge an extra $30 due to the wrong advertised price for the item, saying he just received the product and it was going to cost him more, so he was going to bill Paypal an extra $30. Bait and switch price. Advertising one piece and charging another.

      Store needs to be audited. Jim is a scam artist taking people's money online and not providing the product. Purchased some drum bags, he didn't want to ship them to me because it would cost him too much even after I paid $149. Never received refund. Had to call multiple times over 7 months asking where my product is. Wrote "loser" as my name on invoice - should have known it was a scam ar that initial point.
