      I would not recommend using this company. My daughter had two hip surgeries and We were delivered equipment from this company both times. I received a bill from kinex in 2022 for our equipment rental in 2021. I had already reached my out of pocket max, so did not owe anything. I had many conversations with kinex explaining that I had talked to my insurance company and I did not owe any money and they needed to rebill insurance. I didnt hear from them again until 2024. We had the same conversation again. No more contact again until I received a notice that I was in collections in 2025. We had equipment delivered again in 2023 and now just today, I received a bill with a balance from 2023. This is the first time Ive received a bill for this equipment rental. Youre just now billing in 2025 from equipment rented in 2023 what is wrong with this company?

      BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. The have direct relationships with physicians who are pushing these devises/machines on their patients. The 3 items we received were worth far less than the $250 payment demanded on delivery. Upon delivery, the patent has the option to have Kinex submit to their insurance under the false premise that if Insurance pays, they will refund the $250. This is not what happens. In our case, I payed the $250 and allowed Kinex to put this through our insurance and they received hundreds of additional dollars ($345 in our case). When I called they denied the refund of the $250 stating that the equipment cost was over $2,000 - lol. Bottom line is that they are delivering low cost equipment, pushing for the insurance and keeping all the proceeds. The items I received actually cost us and our insurance just shy of $600. No way I would have purchased this for that amount. Do yourself a favor and get the list of items the doctor recommends and look it up for yourself and determine if you need/want the products. In our case we only used one of the items however we were pushed by the surgeon to take this on outside of the medical/insurance. If you do decide to pay the $250 or whatever ("capped payment") they demand, please do not sign to have them to process through your insurance.

      I had knee replacement surgery in December 2023. Before the surgery, I paid $250 for the rental of equipment (2 separate machines). When my husband met with the rep on the day of surgery to pick up the equipment, he was told we would never owe anything over the $250 we had already paid, even if insurance did not cover all of the rental. After the surgery, we received a bill for $160.87. With EOBs in hand, my husband called to dispute the charges because, in reality, Kinex owed us $89.13. After many phone calls, he was told they would open an inquiry. This did not happen, and soon after, with no investigation from the company, my bill was sent to collection. I will not pay this bill! They are ripping us all off!!

      Was told my ice machine was going to be delivered on 9/19 between 11 and 1. Friday came and went without any call or delivery. I left message on the urgent after hours service with no call back. 5 days after my surgery I call again only to be told they no longer service my area. So here I am post surgery pain without an ice machine. Too risky of a situation to rely on this company.

      Broke my fibula on 6/17/24 and was fitted for a MAXTRAX 2.0 air boot. Insurance payed $237.53 and an adjustment of $52.72. Found the same boot online for $54 and change. The fleecing of Americans for medical needs to stop, its ridiculous to try and make a profit off patients when they go through a traumatic experience.

      I received a call from Kinex saying that my doctor had ordered a Water Circulating Pump for treatment of a shoulder replacement surgery that I was having in a few days and needed to pay$150.00 to rent the Pump for a month. I thought okay my ******** or ******************* will pay for it. I received notices from both ******** and ********* that it was not covered even though Kinex sent them a bill for $420.00. $150.00 plus $420.00 equals $570.00 which I think is ridiculous for renting a small machine for a month. called ******** and the person I talked to said Kinex did not send the correct Procedure code and should have sent a code that stated that the Pump was a medical necessity. So, I called Kinex and explained to the person I talked to that they needed to resend the bill for the Pump to ******** with the correct code. She said she would pass the information to the billing department. I was hoping to get my $150.00 back even though I knew that was a long shot. I have since talked to my doctor and his healthcare team and explained the whole situation and to avoid dealing with Kinex especially after looking at all the other complaints on the Better Business Bureau. Thanks for the rant.

      DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Had we only read all the reviews we truly wouldn't have used the product if we knew in advance! We continued to be billed in spite of the fact that we were told there would be no charge on several occasions. They have badgered me for two years and sent me to collection while assuring me on each call that this would be taken care of.This will not be covered by ******** and they know it. Taking advantage of the elderly is not cool. May *** bless and keep you and forgive your company!

      Would do less if I could. Though the cpm machine is helpful, the dvt thing is a joke. Snake oil salesman is all Kinex is. Find another company to give you the machines you need. I ended up buying the compression and ice machine from another source. It cost less than they were going to charge. Plus they asked people to sign forms to say they would pay over and above what they agreed to accept from  *********

      If I could put no stars, I would. Completely unprofessional, and compassionless people who do not care about customers. After spending hours on the phone, faxing, and emailing documentation regarding a billing issue, it has never been resolved. Our insuance company even called them to explain they are billing us incorrectly! We will likely end up paying 200.00 ish worth of a medical device that we shouldn't simply to save ourselves from going to collections, and me from the hours of aggravation. If you can avoid this and the companies that use them, do it.
