We were referred to Bluemound Express by a family member who does business with them, so we decided not to get any other quotes. This was a big mistake. They came over to the house to look over our belongings and quote us for a full pack and move of a 3-bedroom house. The estimate came to approximately $5k. After they completed the move, they gave us the final bill, which was over $7k. How is it possible to be that far off with an estimate when they came into my home to look at my things? I understand there is a margin of error in estimating, but 40% more seems extreme to me. They also told us all of the furniture would be wrapped so it would be protected while in storage for 5 weeks before we could move into our new apartment. Most of the furniture was wrapped, but they didn't put my mattresses in mattress bags until I questioned them about it at the storage facility. Unfortunately, my storage facility was too small to hold everything so they had to store some of my things in their warehouse, including 4 TVs. When we asked them how much it would cost to have our belongings delivered from the warehouse to the new house, they quoted us $800 dollars. Since they had already exceeded the first quote we didn't trust the second quote and decided to pick up our belongings. When we arrived, we noticed 3 of the 4 TVs were not wrapped or protected, but one TV had cardboard wrapped around it. We were very careful packing and moving our things to the new apartment. When we unpacked and plugged in the TVs, 3 out of 4 of them had cracks and pressure spots that were only visible when powered on. When we called to ask about the broken TVs we were told it must have happened when we moved them. They were very unprofessional on the phone and yelled, telling me not to talk over them. They tried to cover their own mistakes by lying about how the TVs were packed. Needless to say, they didn't offer any concession of any kind. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

This company should be closed! They treated us as 2nd rate, did nothing but bicker between themselves, BROKE 3 ANTIQUES, countless other items. Lost control of my dryer going down the steps, guy actually rode it down the steps! Just 1 of the other items broken. When my wife explained it to the "Manager", he asked "Was he wearing spurs?" The basement was a total shambles, I color coded ALL my boxes, they failed to get that right, EVEN WITH SIGNS I HUNG UP! They charge $60 for "floor protection", yet slid full plastic containers over my 3 day old floor, with no "protection"! Price more than doubled at days end, they go with a "We know what we are doing" estimate on the phone. Sent out 1 truck, ended up using 2. Infighting had a total of 5 addition guys out for the move, couldn't settle their own issues. After a "manager" came out, they added the extra men and truck. Time wasted fighting and swearing, vulgarities unfit to hear, took me to the side and "apologized" and asked me to "apologize" to my wife! THEN PROCEEDED TO RE LOAD THE 1st TRUCK! Claimed it was done wrong in the first place. Picture Fred Sanford, carries 1 item at a time, that is how 3 guys worked! When it came time for the garage, main guy said "We don't move boxes without a top"! Chemicals and mowers I get, but at the move? This information now? Second in charge told me "His crew would have done it". I ended up renting my own truck and did it myself! They were so unorganized, my 38 year old son "took charge" and got them actually working! Before the final bill, we spent over $100 on pizza, not to mention gave several guys tools, air conditioners, tables, things we would not have used anyway. At the new house, we overheard comments like, "Good luck fitting all this in there", and "Who uses old crap like that", my Grandmothers Nesco! Works just fine! They did offer a fix it guy for the antiques, and said "He does not use glue", but the guy DID glue it! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. EVEN WORSE WORK! RUN AWAY!
