Kocourek ford of wausau made an engine swap for me and after having the new engine after 6 & 1/2 months, they finally installed the engine. Upon returning my vehicle to me, I notice terrible sounds coming from the vehicle. Confused because my vehicle had no noises prior to this repair situation, I ask them to check it and see what the problem is. They tell me because they stored my vehicle outside all winter long, that my exhaust system needs new parts due to rust. I explain to them that I did not give my vehicle to them with this problem, I should not be receiving it back with problems. After them telling me multiple times its not there responsibility for damage that may occur to any other parts of the vehicle they are NOT working on, I tell them that I am not satisfied with that answer, the parts manager tells me I can talk to their GM about it. I tell him I would happily explain to their GM what my situation is. He then tells me he's actual out of town ( how convenient). Parts manager goes into his office, and comes back out saying they'd be happy to tack weld said exhaust part that needed to b replaced to fix the problem that had occurred during their repair process. I get my vehicle back the next day sounding much better, but with some very concerning rumbling happening when it shifts gears that wasn't even there when the initial engine swap was completed. After leaving a voicemail due to my call being after they closed for the day, i tried calling to schedule an appointment to have this issue looked at. They refuse to answer my phone calls and continue to make it obvious they feel they do not need to return my vehicle back to me in the condition it was given to them prior to the engine repair. I'm not a customer looking for free parts or services. I paid good money for the original repair and I just want positive resolution in this matter. With my vehicle being returned to me without mysterious noises or physical driving concerns.
