Paid him 2,900 (I gave him $1,900 on July 1st for parts and then another $1,000 on August 28th for his labor) to put in a new timing chain, didn’t even put the timing chain in correctly. Messed up multiple other parts of the car. I have all the documents. Had my car for two and a half months was only supposed to have it for 2 weeks. My car now costs 9,400 to fix due to his negligence. I kept trying to get a report of all he did but he never sent it.

I have statement at two different Volkswagen dealerships confirming that it was Pure Auto Energy that messed up my car.

I took the car to the mechanic the 1st time on 11/27/2023 because it had a cylinder 3 misfire. He changed the spark plugs and I took the car home. It stalled often when I drove it. I dropped the car off for further repair on 12/03/2023. He stated the car needed new fuel injectors and a sensor. I wanted him to order the fuel injectors from rockauto.com because it would be cheaper than the dealer. He ended up getting them from a warehouse associated with rockauto. Those parts did not function properly, so he had to send them back. He then acted like I was costing him business because the parts didn't work. He then ordered the fuel injectors which were $185 a piece for all four from a Hyundai dealer. It was close to Christmas so the parts were extremely late arriving at his shop. After he got the parts they still didn't work correctly and he said he was running into problems. I also said I needed a Cam sensor. One day I texted him asking for an update and he said he was frustrated with me texting him every 2 hours. The reason I texted was because he wasn't answering my question. Another day he said I told you I'm working on it in a rude manner. After that I didn't text him for a few days. After that he was calmer, but still continued to feed me a line that repairs would be done soon. Then he said car needed clips and o rings ordered on 1/22/24. Finally after waiting almost 2 months on January 24th 2024 he said the car was put back together, but the Cylinder 3 was still misfiring. He still wanted a final payment of $575 for his work. He tried putting new spark plugs in car thinking that would help and fried them. He said don't tell dealer when I trade car in about the Cylinder 3 misfire because the engine may be about to go. He did not know what he was doing. I have only had the ******* ***** ** Sport since April 2022. The car had 60,000+ miles on it when I bought it and I had it to 90,000 when problems started. I still owe between $20,000 and $21,000 on car.
