I closed my accounts after the poor customer service I received. I later found out that an item I purchased on **** had not been sent and refunded my card that I no longer had and gave me the steps to talk to the bank to get my refund. All the people at Neo that I phoned and chatted too had no idea what they are doing. I emailed in wanting to reopen my account and they said I had to phone in and that is what I did. When I gave Loraiine my information she asked me what the last transactions were and when I opened the account which was almost * years ago and I did not know the exact date and she said she could not help me or transfer me and told me to contact Transunion and Equifax which are for credit purposes when I simply was trying to open my account again to get my money refund back. She then hung up on me and I phoned back and was on hold for ** minutes and hung up because it was wasting my time. I need the BBB to help clarify that I want to open my account and to speak to a manager or someone who understands and can help me out and get my refund. They also want me to log into the app to prove that it is me chatting with them and I cannot do that as I am locked out and I even explained that to the agent and they did not care.Initial Complaint

On January ****, 2025, I applied and was approved for a *** Financial Mastercard (by Neo Financial) through Credit Card Genius (CCG) which should come with a $*** cashback. However to this day, this hasn't been paid out. I opened a ticket with CCG but they haven't been able to get Neo Financial to pay out. Signed up Jan 19, 2025 for a **** Secured Mastercard, by Neo Financial, with the promise of a $100 welcome bonus delivered through creditcardGenius. Credit card approval received Jan 26, 2025. *** decided to block my card although I did all verification required and still they wanted me to wait ** hours although I needed to pay for an urgent transaction. This bank is ridiculous and have the worst customer service ever, you cant rely on them as they are useless. My phone was hacked on Feb ****** and Fraud went through different banks/financial Institutions. I had a closed credit Card with Neo Financial which closed on Jan 2023 but Fraud reached out them and Neo Financial re-opened the account and issued $4,000 Mastercard to the Fraud. I never applied or contact Neo Financial for opening the account. After my mobile phone hacked, I noticed on my Transunion Credit Report that credit queries done by Neo Financial and I contact them to make sure if anyone takeout money from there and Neo Financial customer service confirmed me that active account is there and opened on Feb 2025.I provided Police report and all other information to Neo Financial but Neo Financial, not reimbursing that money. They declined my request and asking me to payout the balance.
