I have been taking my ******** to Its A Dogs Life since 2016 (since my dog was a puppy). I board my dog semi-regularly, she has been at daycare hundreds of times, and been groomed/bathed multiple times (shes pretty low maintenance so I do it myself most of the time). In addition, shes been boarded last minute/in an emergency several times, which is something that is truly invaluable to me. I have never had any issues over the years, and the staff has truly gone above and beyond many times. Even with some staff changes over the years (which is understandable over nearly 7 years), the owners have created a family culture where the dogs simply come first. A close second is their customer service, which is unparalleled. No matter what is going on in my life, IADL has been consistently reliable on helping my dog live her best life. I cannot say enough good things about this place and will be a forever customer. In addition, their retail prices are very competitive, they support local and their points reward program is amazing!Review from Jacky P

The worst! My dog was boarded for 2 days. She left there extremely dehydrated and very ill - she had 2 seizures within minutes of picking her up from their facility - I believe she was not properly cared for and the seizures were likely a result of stress and extreme dehydration. When I picked her up she had a large amount of dried dog p*** on the side of her body! I will never go back there and I will never provide a referral to this business.UPDATE:My dog has not been out of the house yet since I picked her up from the boarder. Seizures for 2 days, unable to stand, temporarily blind, had to be hand fed, and I`ve discovered really bad sores that are still raw and are scabbing up - on her back legs. I have pics.UPDATE:My dog is in severe pain - I will be taking her to vet today. UPDATE:My vet, Dr. ******************* @ Crestwood Vet saw my dog on an emergency basis today. His diagnosis: Sunny had seizures while in the cage and as a result of thrashing while in a seizure injured herself on the cage she was being held in. ************* said it was likely she had more than one seizure to have caused the extent of injury to her legs. I was very lucky I picked her up when I did because she may not have survived one more day there.************* prescribed a cortisone/anti inflammatory cream and advised she should be watched very carefully for the next few days.
