This company has contacted me multiple times a day for weeks on end trying to reach someone that must've had my phone number before I received it last year. I have told them MULTIPLE TIMES that I am not the person they are trying to contact and I keep getting told that they have removed my number from their registry, but they keep calling. Honestly, if I could charge these people with harassment, I would!

It would appear that the indebted party in question was, or is still, using the ******* phone number with their creditors. This happens when consumers accept recycled phone numbers from their telco providers. In many cases there is not one, but multiple debts from multiple creditors.If calls do continue ask for a supervisor or manager for assistance.Review fromTheresa J

1 starThis company has been harassing me for years, I'm the owner of the phone number but not the person they are looking for. My many attempts at getting my number removed has resulted in rudeness followed by getting hung up on. 1 starCan anyone confirm that this is a real company? It seems like a scam...I have my credit report and owe these people money.. but the phone conversations are the weirdest I have ever had in my life... I feel like im giving money to a nigerian prince. I was inquiring about my debt and he was asking me to take a loan from a bank or money mart, or even to ask my friends for money to pay him... it was super weird.I even have the money to pay and get rid of this debt but I am just extremely uncomfortable paying simply because they are so unprofessional I feel like im getting scammed...Review fromAllan L

1 starI have 3 phones with ****...for myself and family members and out of the blue one of the phones started getting bombarded with calls/messages etc for some random person who is unknown to myself and my family. We have had the cell number for over a year and my dad does not want to change his number (at the suggestion of ****). I have emailed, left messages, and called numerous times to get them to stop harassing my dad. I won't be paying some stranger's debt to make it stop however, I need this to stop. It is stressing my father out. If I could leave a negative star rating I would. I am hoping this review will encourage the company to answer calls during their business hours and make an effort into finding the actual person with the debt.Review fromKiana G

1 starasked for my information, name, phone number, birthday. Said they were phoning about a debt from 6/7 years ago when I mentioned that there was nothing, I paid it off with the company I owed. They said that the report came in recently so they were following through and I had to pay them. I argued with the person for 2 minutes before being put on hold and argued with the another person about my old debt. I blocked 4 different phone numbers that continued to phone about the debt that no longer exists. Now I am receiving messages from another phone number stating to call CBV at this phone number regarding my file. *** ***** ******* **** **** **** ********* ** ******* **** ****** CBV phone number does not match the one that they are telling me to call.Review fromLarry J

1 starI owe this company **** and they want *****. They say interest and they have only had it 2 years. They won’t come to a settlement and very **** people. 1 starGot a call at 7am this morning claiming I owed money to ****** ******. Gave them my address they said that’s wrong. I said no this is the only address I have ever paid utilities to and I jsut my what I do for my last month. I ask for the address they are looking for or sin on file so I can see if I am getting hit by someone using my info. They wouldn’t give it to me. Then they told me they get number from a certain department. I would assume ****** ****** would have given them the correct info when closing the account and sending it their way. Any ways I gotta go look at my credit score and see what’s going on. Stop calling at 7 am that not a good way to get money out of people if they do indeed call you. ******.
