Above and beyond is what Mike and his team offer to their customers! I can't say enough great things about them. This is our second time using Southwinds Roofing. Mike is so easy to deal with, friendly and gave us a very reasonable quote to complete the work my mother in law needed done. He truly helped us out and gave my mother in law the peace of mind she needed. We called Mike back to book the job on Friday and they came out Monday to complete it. The team arrived on time as always, and ready to go. Amazing quality and workmanship. I wanted to thank Mike and the Southwinds Roofing team once again for coming through with flying colours! My Mother in Law needed a roof and eavestroughs, and her shed updated and whoa! Thanks Mike! The roof is absolutely stunning, and once again the team was like a well oiled machine, working in tandem to get it done right! Everyone is friendly and professional, and I just can't say enough about this company. Don't look anywhere else for your roofing needs...they are the best! Work completed July 10/11, 2023.

I originally contacted Southwind Roofing to get a small repair job addressed. They were here to fix my problem, and also took time to caulk areas that I didn't request to have done. The gentleman proceeded to advise me that the south side of my roof needed replacing, or I may start to experience water problems. I contacted ** ******** to check out the warranty on my shingles. They provided me forms to complete with instructions to provide pictures. In talking with Michael **** of Southwind Roofing, he provided me with a quote for Roof Shingle Replacement and assisted me for providing ** ******** with the information they needed. Including sending one of his men over to take pictures of the roof and damage. Once ** ******** were content with the information they needed, I proceeded to hire Southwind Roofing to do the re-shingling. I phoned on Friday, June 30/23 and they were here at 7:20 a.m. on July 04/23 to start the job. They finished around 2:30 p.m. (I might add it was a very hot day ... over 30 C) . Excellent job, the guys were friendly and professional, and when they left the job was done and there was no evidence of scraps lying around. Michael was also nice about the payment process. I personally would recommend Southwind Roofing if you need Roof Repairs or Shingling.Southwinds Roofing Ltd. Response

Southwind Roofing installed the roof on our new built house in 2012. They worked very efficiently and staff and owner were very friendly and professional. Unfortunately, even so the roof was installed in May/June the shingles did not bond properly due to a deficiency of the shingles and we had every year when very high winds happened some shingles flying off. Even so the insurance company was hard to deal with Southwind Roofing was every time we had some shingles flying off back within a short period of time to fix the damages without any charges. I cannot say how much I appreciate the prompt respond by Southwind Roofing over the years caring about an existing customer. I had quite some bad experiences myself with contractors and trades people doing an initial job and never come back and, in some occasions, don't even bother to reply when some deficiency's occurred. This is not the case with Southwind Roofing. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Southwind Roofing if you need someone looking after your roof.Southwinds Roofing Ltd. Response

Thanks very much for your positive review. It's a shame the shingle manufacturer wont replace the defective product. Lucky for both of us it is limited to a small area. Nevertheless we have stopped using that company's product and are quite happy with the switch to another brand. It seems to say that ***************** has an issue calling customers back he made my wife with 2 new born wait 5 hours when he told us he would be here for 12 o'clock noon but he couldn't take 30 seconds out of his day to give us a call to tell us that hes running behind I will not call this guy back and I will make sure I would tell people not to use the service because they're very unprofessional...
Responds to owner we did not have that conversation on the phone ( wife was present) your reviews speak for itself and I also paid and tipped your employee for his gas services and his 10 second job.. Mike ( Me, the owner ) told the customer one of our workers could do this repair after our scheduled roof replacement job was done, perhaps sometime after lunch. Our worker did not get to this "repair" job, which was not one of our warrantied roof responsibilities but something we do to help homeowners keep their homes from falling apart, until later in the afternoon. I immediately got a call from the irate customer complaining that we showed up late. I asked if we should leave and was met with more complaining, so we left. Southwinds Roofing will ONLY work for friendly, appreciative people, unlike this customer who Southwinds would like to warn all other contractors to avoid doing business with. NOT PROFESSIONAL! My husband booked a estimate back in January to replace a sky light that had started to leak in our kitchen, the guy (**** I believe) said no problem, they do work in the winter and they could get it done in 2 weeks at a reasonable price. 2 weeks pass, we call, and they said yup we'll be in touch soon. 2 months have now gone by... I called this morning, I assume I got the owner, asked about a status for our skylight, and he said "We don't do work in the winter, we do not schedule out work that's not how roofing works, when we get time to do a job we do it" I said well, can you let me know where I am on your list so I can expect a date when this can be completed? He said, I don't want to argue, take me off YOUR list!" then HUNG up on me, and blocked my number. I am flabbergasted, all I did was ask when I can expect work to be completed that I had gotten a quote for and accepted, 2 months prior? How does one run their business this way? To block my number? *********** How this company has business is beyond my scope of comprehension. DO NOT RECOMMEND.Southwinds Roofing Ltd. Response

Southwinds will ONLY work for nice people. Sometimes it is better NOT to do business and walk away before things get worse.
