    I contacted them based on their claim of government programs to reduce debt but was aggressively shoved towards a consumer proposal. The representative I was speaking with before even talking to me about what services they offer he was demanding I give him my financial information and that he process it through to see how much I would owe with a consumer proposal. He then began telling me how trustworthy they are and asked if I would prefer to use ******** to communicate because it is "safer and more secure than the phone". At that point I decided to tell him I was no longer interested and he continued to insist that I look at ****** and ***** ***** and *** to see how trustworthy they were. I came to learn that they do not even employ LITs that would handle the proposal but instead charge you to find one. This company, while ***** *** ******** *************** what they do, are at the very least trying to imply that they are more than what they actually are. * ***** ********* ******* *** *****

To determine the best solution for each client, our process begins by understanding their full financial situation — including income, expenses, and outstanding balances — so we can assess which debt management options they may qualify for. Our associate suggested ******** as an alternative means of communication only after experiencing difficulty reaching you by phone, as many clients prefer this method for convenience. However, this was simply a suggestion, not a requirement. Regarding our services, we are transparent on our website and during consultations that we are not Licensed Insolvency Trustees (LITs). If a consumer proposal is the right solution, we facilitate the entire preparation process and connect clients with an independent LIT to proceed with the filing. Our service fee covers the administrative work involved in preparing the necessary documents and ensuring a smoother experience for our clients. We understand how stressful financial difficulties can be, and our goal is always to provide supportive guidance.     I have a unique situation where I have limited debt sources but am still struggling. I have a consolidation debt but I don’t have a mortgage, I own my home through inheritance situation. So because of that, because I don’t have a mortgage, they are not willing to help me… “Getting a mortgage and paying off your debt would be your best solution”…. What!?! So you want me to create debt to resolve debt… no thanks. That is so backwards. I want to reduce my debt that I am paying on monthly so that I can spend more of the, sadly low (I work as an educational assistant), amount I bring home on groceries and household bills and expenses. Yes, a mortgage would pay off my debt and then some…. But Then I’m Just Paying For A Mortgage Instead. I am interested in reducing debt not trading one source of debt for another. That is not helpful at all. Not to mention that you are told one thing by one person and then the final person tells you a whole different thing and a far larger monthly payment…. Not helpful at all

    Vicky is absolutely positively the most aggressive “financial advisor” I could ever imagine speaking to. As soon as I started asking questions he became argumentative and when I said I was concerned about the lack of what he said they could do for me in comparison to what they promoted, he spoke over me and wouldn’t even allow me to ask anything else. I said that I was not agreeing to anything until I had time to think through my options with someone he became even more aggressive. Even If I were to decide to do a Consumer Proposal (which he didn’t mention until I asked if that’s what it was) I definitely wouldn’t use this company. I told him that I have worked to improve my credit rating and that that matters to me and he scoffed at the suggestion that it was even a concern. I have worked hard to get where I am and had their ad stated that this was a consumer proposal I never would have considered it. Perhaps I was naive in actually believing that this was some government program to help, that’s on me. His aggressive attitude is on him and while it’s clearly a ****** company that takes advantage of people who are attempting to get through life just a little bit easier, I would suggest that you don’t want employees like this representing your company in this manner.
