Atrocious customer service. Sales and installation went well. They returned calls and emails. As soon as I needed service it felt as though they were actively avoiding me. Getting regular service on my doors and windows for basket replacement the first time took 18 months of constantly calling and emailing to get a response. It was a true fight. Other Pella doors I own now need service and I'm back to being ignored. I filled out the contact form on the website and was told I would have a response in 2 business days. 1.5 months later and they still have not set up a service call. If I could go back in time and gone with another company I absolutely would have. The single biggest regret in my build was going with Pella doors. It truly is a nightmare to get them serviced.Review from Tarin L.

Written as a follow-up to a complaint submitted to BBB in early summer of 2023: In our personal experience, the windows that were purchased through and installed by Pella Windows and Doors of ******, required multiple repairs for drafts and ice-buildup. Issues started within one month of installation and pursued over a 4-year period. Repairs included foam pads to fill gaps/drafts (on new windows), additional caulking, additional weather stripping, replacement of locks, replacement of sliders during the 4 years. Based on observations specific to our experience and not necessarily the experiences of other customers, other windows within the house, possessing the same locking mechanisms were free of drafts and ice-buildup. Additional observations of subsequent windows with the same locking mechanisms installed to replace Pella windows also has not resulted in the drafts or ice-buildup.Review from Alex H

Pella delivered two defective rolling screens then tried to fix them with no success. Now they're completely ignoring ** and trying to avoid their warranty responsibility. They mistreated us throughout the entire process and they left us with no other option than a lawsuit.
