1 starMy son, who has Down syndrome, was banned from ProctorU. During the exam, the ******* observed "abnormal behaviors," although these behaviors are typical for my son. Despite being informed of this, the ******* terminated my son's exam. We later received a certified letter from ProctorU stating that they are banning my son with Down syndrome from their platform.Review fromCharles M

1 starI have been attempting for the last three months to take one singular exam but nobody seems to know how to fix the issue that has been proven to be on their side for connection. I call and get yet another person to help me that tries the same stuff that has been tried a thousand other times and the call drops as well. 1 starhow this company is still running. They fail to deliver the one thing that they are made to do, administer test. Not only that when the test does not work they will blame you and refuse to submit any sort of refund. I contacted every form of customer support they have just to be essentially shut down and told they cant do anything to help. They will blame you for failing the exam they logged you out of and will not refund you. Seeing how many this affected I am shocked a class action suit has not already been filed on this matter, but worry not. I will make that my new goal in life! I am very disappointed in my experience today that left me so frustrated that I was in tears. It is not enough that taking an exam is stressful but that I had such an awful start and absolute lack of empathy is unforgivable. I was connected to a ******* 3 times and it took an hour to sort out what was going on. It seems that if you have team viewer on your laptop you are unable to proceed. Instead of walking through this with me, the first ******* disconnected with very little information prior, second transferred me to support who told me to re-boot my computer and I would be able to reconnect with them after - nope - I logged back in and they were gone, third ******* - Mercy - was finally able to get me to uninstall the software and see it on her end (even though I had already done it with the previous *******, and she was the least understanding ******* I have dealt with so far. I explained that I had gone through an hour of troubleshooting to write my exam and how frustrated I was and she barely responded. You could try to be more reasonable and train your proctors to have some amount of empathy if this is a service that you wish me to re-use or promote. I would highly suggest that you find some staff that can be reasonable, efficient in describing issues and helpful when someone is already in a high stress situation. Its a nightmare dealing with your service and this is not the first negative experience I have had with Proctor U, please do better, and train your staff. Thank youProctorU

Thank you for providing feedback regarding your session on 12/29/2024. A review of your session was completed. You attempted to connect with TeamViewer, a remote application software, which is not allowed during testing with Meazure Learning. The ******* sent the correct PDR and asked that you remove the software or connect on another device. Our proctors are not allowed to remove the applications from test-taker devices. Rebooting computers is a common troubleshooting step for technical issues. While most computers reconnect within 5 minutes, your device did not which caused you to reconnect with another *******. We confirm the ******* did not meet expectations for professionalism and responsiveness. We sincerely apologize for the frustration this has caused. The incident has been addressed.Review fromJun L

ProctorU is horrible. I paid to take an exam that I could not complete because if there system failed. In return, I failed my final exam. Therefore, I asked for a refund, but the company responded that I could not have one.ProctorU

This company is a scam. They screwed up so many of the exams at my school, all of the teachers offered to ******* the exams themselves over Zoom, or just removed the proctoring requirement altogether. Then, despite these issues preventing me (and many of my classmates) from being able to take my exams, ProctorU denied my refund request because there was no evidence they did anything wrong.This company is a scam. If your college uses them for exam proctoring, convince them to change services. If you can't, consider changing colleges. These people are not worth the headache.ProctorU

I had used this for 2 previous exams. This time they "had a problem on their end" and couldn't establish a connection with my webcam. I spent several hours over multiple days with so many technicians it was at least +10 including phone calls... and they couldn't figure it out. My hardware and software were working perfectly. No updates to be done, Drivers all good. Settings good. Web browser correct. Privacy and security settings correct. Literally everything on my side was perfect. The final fix suggested by the "technician?" To find another computer!!! The audacity! As though it is so simple to just "find another computer." For so many reasons this is problematic. At this point, they have delayed my exam by a week which will negatively impact my applications to my master's graduate program. For ProctorU it is just another day, for me it is a stressful nightmare with long-reaching repercussions. DO NOT USE THEMProctorU

I am a new student at *** and am required to use ProctorU for exams. My first exam went well, but my second exam experience was horrendous! In fact, I wasn't able to take it. My laptop and internet was working perfect and this was an "issue" on the proctors end. The ******* kept going in and out of connection and after 40 minutes I was able to enter the exam only to be told less than 20 seconds later that my connection was lost. The ******* informed me that I needed to download the "Applet" in order to continue. I asked multiple times why I needed to do this as I was uncomfortable downloading anything to my computer. After questing the ******* five times and being ignored about what permissions this would give them on my laptop with ZERO INFORMATION OTHER THAN I HAD TO "DOWNLOAD IT TO CONTINUE MY EXAM" I excited out, and tried to enter the exam again with another ******* telling me the same thing.This is a significant invasion to my privacy as as a student as I learned that it would give them total permission to access everything on my laptop at any point!!!! This is an unreasonable expectation to have on students!!! This company feels and acts like a scam! The "Connection Lost" felt like an intentional "We now need full access to your computer so we can gather as much information to scam you as possible."
