I had no choice but to finance with Bridgecrest. I recently was diagnosed with cancer and was struggling to make my payments.csr payment or life saving medication They understandably repossessed my vehicle the day I came home from the hospital. I will be able to get my car back but its going to take several weeks. I asked if they could hold the vehicle until the 1st of the month and was told the longest they could hold it would be until the 26th. Really???? 5 extra days? This company has no empathy for what people are going through. Life happens.Bridgecrest Response

I have a POA for my daughter I have sent into the only email they will give you which is customer service. After reviewing they have denied it with no letter or statement or anything, just tells me when I call they cannot talk to me. I am trying to do a voluntary repo on it and they are refusing any discussion on the loan. I asked and of course the call center that the only number they have is out sourced out of the country. When I requested email, phone number and address to the corporate offices here in the states I was denied. They refused anything but the email to customer service. Someone needs to start a class action lawsuit against this company. If I had the money for an attorney, I would do so. I wish I could give no stars.Bridgecrest Response

Worst company I have dealt with. Traded in a car we had financed with them to buy a new car. When the payoff was requested to complete the deal, Bridgecrest gave them the wrong amount. The dealership cut them a check and next month our car payment was auto charged to our checking account. When I contacted Bridgecrest to ask why they were charging me for a car I traded in, they said they gave us the wrong payoff amount and we still owed *****. The other dealership decided to eat the ***** and make it right with us so that we weren't stuck with a payment for a car we no longer owned. Bridgecrest never cashed the second check they received and now they are holding up our closing on a house because they are being very difficult to deal with and will not communicate with the other dealership to try and resolve this. I warn you to stay far away from this company who works hand in hand with *******.Bridgecrest Response

My son financed his first car with Bridgecrest in September 2023, and I co-signed for him. He was rear ended and subsequently insurance deemed his car a total loss in March 2024. He added *** insurance to the financing, so we figured we had met our obligations since the title had been signed over, and as I stated before he had *** insurance. Bridgecrest continued to call and send letters and calling about late payments and I told them that I was not sending them another $ since we no longer owned the car and he had *** insurance. Then in July I finally find out that the *** payout was still pending (which makes no sense at all). So, I finally speak to Bridgecrest and they tell me that my insurance was through another company and I needed to reach out to them as it still showed as pending in the system. Why allow him to add *** insurance to his financing and then make it his responsibility to send documents to the insurer when the documents were sent to Bridgecrest by his insurance adjuster????? I've had two other incidents where I had *** insurance through reputable finance companies, and I was not required to do anything more than sign over the title. Reading through the review this seem to be common practice (aka a scam) of Bridgecrest to either get more money out of the financer because they are losing out on months of high a$$ interest payments or, ruin their credit. In me and my son's case it is the latter. Did I mention the only reason we decided to finance the car was to build his credit! Now both of us are going to have delinquencies on our credit reports because of shady tactics by Bridgecrest. DO BETTER! Bridgecrest doesn't even deserve one star!Bridgecrest Response

I bought a car in 2022. A 2011 **** Edge.***** blue book is much less than the $23000 I was willing to pay.I lost my job in 12/23. Havent had substantial income since. Worked doing Lyft, ********************** were days from 12-23-6/24 I would work 12 to 16 hours.Last month while visiting a friends home my car was repossessed because Inwas late two months. Made a payment in May though.Carvana/Bridgecrest sold my car for $3500 and sent me a letter stating I owe $20,000.This is not right. I am having a very hard time financially. Can you please look at this?!I have a job currently and am working but will not have a check for a month.Medicaid/snap took my benefits from when I worked in 9/23-12/23 at ****** Airlines as a ramp agent making $20 an hour.Bridgecrest Response

I had an absolutely terrible experience with [Car Place Name]. After my car was totaled, they forced me to continue making payments until my GAP and insurance were settled. I owed $14,000 on a car that was only worth $5,600. I was assured that I would get back nearly $1,000 from the payments I made, but I only received a check for $173.71.When I called to find out why, they blamed my insurance for not sending the check within their 10-day quote, which supposedly caused a change. They also said my GAP insurance only paid a certain amount and did not pay it off fully. This company is incredibly difficult to deal with. It's been two months since my accident, and I'm still fighting with them because they essentially stole my money.Their customer service is horrendous. On top of that, their interest rates are outrageous29%! A car listed for $13,500 ended up costing me $30,000, even with a $1,500 down payment. They prey on people who have no choice but to use buy-here-pay-here services. I learned my ****** the hard way.DO NOT USE Bridgecrest. They are a piece of c*** company that should be shut down. I will never use them again, nor would I recommend them to anyone.Bridgecrest Response

Today Bridgecrest repossessed my 2017 Volkswagon Jetta, that I was paying $493 per month on because I am 10 days past due. Bridgecrest has submitted inaccurate information to the credit bureau after repossessing it 2 months ago. I called to request more time and was told absolutely no arrangements would be made. I have paid on this vehicle since 8/19/2021. EVERYONE is aware of the state of the economy. How could you be so heartless. If I called to make payment arrangements, why wouldn't you make payment arrangements? Your goal is to devour your customers'. You are a problem and I will not stop until everyone knows it. I am praying for your downfall. If there were -stars, you would receive it because that's what you deserve.Bridgecrest Response

This is the worse loan service! They will **** you (no lube or spit) with high interest rate and APR. I financed a car through them in December 2022 made all my payments on time of $603/month. With in 18 months of having this car I have paid a little over $10,000 to this company and only $3,000 went to the car. This the worse!!! You are better off going to a credit union or a real bank. Please do not use this company!!!!! Unfortunately Im stuck with them until I can refinanceBridgecrest Response

Worst company EVER!!!!!I Got in a car accident in April. My insurance company wrote the check to them they hold it for "15 days " I have no idea WHY, Then I had to find with ALI,the Gap company to cover the balance. They FINALLY send it to Bridgecrest and they HOLD on to it AGAIN... Then when you call, you're being told that you are LATE on your payments. FINALLY they have BOTH payments and I'm being told that they have NO ETA as to when it will be processed, let alone removed from my credit report. They don't care, they have NO urgency but let you miss a payment by 1 DAY they will call you constantly. Find ANY OTHER COMPANY to finance you if you can, or don't have an accident. First and LAST TIME dealing with them. Wish I could give them a-1....Bridgecrest Response
