      You won't believe this BS. Awhile ago we needed a new battery. This weekend we went to see friends and had issues with the car not starting Saturday & needing it jumped and then again today to head home. Come to find out today the technician put the wrong battery in our car!!! Yes it was under warranty. NO they will not replace it without us needing to buy a new one being it is not the battery for our car! Are you frigging kidding me $218 for a battery when they put the wrong one in!!! They told us they could replace it with the same one (wrong one) he put in but they don't even have it at this location or the one we ended up going to across town when the closest locations machine didn't work to test the battery. Needless to say I am livid and going to go to every single measure possible to get them to make this BS right!!!!

      I purchased a battery from AutoZone on a Thursday. The technician at AutoZone offered to install it for me. I accepted, and even tipped him afterwards.On Monday, my vehicle would not start. I called roadside assistance, and that technician told me the battery was dead. I told him I had just purchased it. He said, 'from AutoZone?' When I confirmed this, he said 'this isn't the first time I've had a customer with a bad battery from AutoZone.'I watched the technician test the battery, and it was indeed dead.I took the battery back to AutoZone. The employee, who identified himself as the manager, said he was not able to take a used battery in return. I reminded him I had just bought it a few days before and the battery was dead. He offered to exchange it, but at that point, I didn't want another battery, as I had to purchase another one to get back on the road. The employee continued to say it was not their policy to offer returns. He refused to do anything to fix the situation.I want a refund of the cost of the battery, which I basically did not get any use out of.
