HORRIBLE experience buying/shopping new car at Camelback **** They give car dealerships a bad name. Their competition accused them of ************** I was negotiating online so have entire chat history to prove my negative experience is legitimate. After negotiating online and agreeing on OTD purchase price, they provided me a written quote. I responded within 1 hr that Ill come in to secure the car. They then tell me that car has been sold. Salesman tells me h*** find me h*** find another car for me. So far a happy customer. Then the stalling and wasting of time starts. Id continuously have to ask for status update over next 3+ weeks. Ive been told: he is waiting on finance, ask me about insurance info, wait for next month for fresh paperwork, he see inventory but cant write it up because no VIN assigned, etc. Tells me he cant locate any car anywhere, etc. I found car at different dealership in town for him. He asked for VIN which I provided. He tells me there are 2 cars coming next month. Each time I press him to finalize the deal he tells me thats cars been sold or promised to someone else. This dragged on for 3+ weeks until I demanded to talk to their sales director who basically tells me he will not honor the quote. He claimed the quote was VIN specific unwilling to give me same price for another same/equivalent car. Claimed I passed on the original quote so its my fault (even though I accepted within 1hr). After much discussion he is the one rejecting the offer. He will flat out not honor the price that was quoted on paper. 1. I think they should honor what the dealership quoted. 2. If they know they wont honor the quote, just say so. Dont drag me on for another 3+ weeks saying youll find me a new car if big boss never intended to sell me a car at that price. (Let me move on to my next dealership with best price).STAY AWAY FROM CAMELBACK HUNDAI/*** to avoid disappointment and wasted time! Reach out to me for names.

Management has researched Mr. ****** allegations, and reviewed the communication history. There was no "bait & switch." We would be happy to review the communication history with Mr. *****

I have already talked to business sales director with initial BR at Camelback **** Last communication is that they will not sell me a car at the price quoted. I'll be glad to review the communication history with 3rd party arbitrator and/or business provider. Summary: Business provider made an offer in writing, consumer accepted offer (same day). Business provider said it was sold and will find another. Several cars were sold to other consumers with various excuses why it did not go to me and will find another. Last communication with Mr. ***** ***** is that they will not honor the offer provided. I'll be glad to review the history with BBB.

I started having my 2022 ********* maintenance at Camelback Hyundai. I had mentioned to **** from *********** and my new service agent ***** at Camelback Hyundai that my vehicle was leaking oil. I was told by ***** my service agent at Camelback that the cabin filter needed to be changed. This was the reason for oil leak. Not under warranty so I had to pay $30. My warranty maintenance oils change was completed. My vehicle was out of alignment. This was not mentioned to me by Camelback Hyundai. I could tell from the way my vehicle was pulling to the right. I took my vehicle to a reputable shop that our family has been using for years for the alignment. Since Camelback said this was not covered under my warranty it would cost me $135 for them to do it. But first I had to buy 4 new tires. My tires were already wearing down for a vehicle that had not reached ***** miles. The next day I took my vehicle in for the alignment( To the Reputable shop, not Camelback Hyundai) The mechanics called me out to the garage to show me that my shocks were bad and all the oil had leaked out. I needed to take my vehicle back to the dealer. The shocks needed to be replaced before they could do the alignment. Camelback Hyundai did replace the shocks. I was told Again by Camelback Hyundai I need another cabin filter. (I just had it replaced.) Why did I have to tell THEM the shocks were bad ?!!! Before I had the shocks replaced, I researched the shocks for my Palisaide. Pages and pages of complaints from customers complaining about the defective shocks. Also, customers wanted to know why this was not a recall, since Hyundai of America knew they had defective shocks. This is very disheartening, considering Camelback Hyundai claims that they had performed a complete inspection on my vehicle. The faulty shocks are the reason I had to purchase tires so soon and pay for alignment. I have had 3 different service agents. There is no accountability.

If I could Id give a 0 star. The customer service was beyond terrible. The communication with customer and staff is awful. I went in 9/20 to get a service done on my car. Last week I had called and scheduled to have my ******** converter replaced because I had a recall on my car part. They responded with, you can bring it in next Friday and we can have it fixed on that same day. I dropped off my car today to get the car part put on and when it was there after 4 hours they sent me a text message that they inspected my car, and found some other things wrong with it. They asked me if I wanted those parts fixed. I told them no thank you I cant afford it right now, but did you fix the ******** converter and is my car ready for me to pick up. They informed me they fixed other recalls that I had on my vehicle. I was never aware that they were going to start fixing and putting other parts on my car.. nonetheless, after 4 hours they informed me they didnt fix the recalled ******** converter that they were supposed to install on my vehicle. They wasted my time, my money, I had to take off work for them to do nothing when I needed the ******** converter replaced. That was the whole reason and point why my car was there.. Funny part is they want me to take my car back NEXT Friday. When they wasted my time today. What a joke they are. They dont deserve anyones service with that kind of chaos. Also, there was NO ACCOUNTABILITY for wasting my time, my gas, lying to me about having a part to put onto my car and putting other recalled parts onto my car. I literally dropped off my car for nothing today. Super disappointed and upset.

It's been a whole month since my visit at camelback *** and I still haven't gotten a response back from them regarding my warranty on the belt molding on all 4 door windows. It's a 2020 *** forte so only 4 years old yet the belt molding can't hold up to the sun I want new belt molding and I don't want to pay 400 dollars plus 400 dollars more for labor on something I could do in 20 minutes. I've seen 20 year old cars that never had belt molding replaced in better condition that my 4 year old car. I refuse to let them work on my car ship me my belt molding for all 4 doors.

CAMELBACK *** IS A JOKE AND THEY HAVE ZERO CUSTOMER ******* SKILLS!! They left my Kia **** with tons of scratches all over it after my first time taking it in for a Zaktek application. I paid over $1100 for the Zaktek when I initially purchased my vehicle from them and per the contract I can only take it to the dealership I purchased it from. This really ****** me off because they left my car with damage and made absolutely no attempt to do anything about it!! They actually were very rude and just pretended it never happened. I never want to take my vehicle to them again, especially when something like this happens on my first service visit. Now I'm screwed out of the over $1100 I paid for the Zaktek and whatever it costs to have the scratches fixed!! Things like this are why they have such low ratings. They'll continue to have even lower ratings if they keep s******* people over. It's just bad business and absolutely terrible customer service. ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY after they make a mistake and don't care to attempt to make things right. They are a total ripoff so I advise everyone to stay away from their shady service department. You will end up requiring additional service after you take your vehicle into them for service. CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED TO STAY AWAY FROM CAMELBACK *** ******* DEPARTMENT!!

I purchased a vehicle from camelback Hyundai one and a half months ago. I should have know at that time there would be issues as I got my car home and realized when the service department put new tires on the car the used the wrong lug nuts to attach the tires. I had to spend money getting lug nuts replaced. Now my car after being driven awhile is stalling out on me and does not start until its sitting awhile and cools off. First time this happened I had no idea what was going on and had it towed to my mechanic. He suggested I take this to a ****** dealership ( its a 2016 maxima). I live in ******** so I took this to ******* ****** and they pulled the code and gave me a seven thousand dollar repair estimate. Unfortunately they did not accept my map warranty. I made my appointment for camelback Hyundai for Saturday may 25th. I HAD to work a few days before taking it in and each day near my destination it stalled out. On the Friday before I too it in it took me two hours to get home from 3 miles away. I brought it in Saturday and it stalled out entering the parking lot . I gave **** my paperwork from ****** dealership and got my ride home. I heard nothing until I called them Wednesday. They were still looking into it and would call that night or first thing in the morning. Neither happened. I called Friday and as told nothing is wrong with the car and I would have to deal with it. Keep in mind I have a warranty. I was refused a loaner car until they were able to figure this out. So apparently I need to worry every morning before I go to work if I will make it to work, I have to worry if I will make it home. I can not run any errands as extra driving make the odds of stalling go up. I bought a lemon from camelback Hyundai and was shown no remorse concern for my job that is paying for this car and now have to look into hiring a lawyer as an added expense. All I want is a dependable car to get me to work and back and this is what I am stuck with.

We test drove ************************** vehicle multiple times and performed a diagnostic scan and were unable to find any error codes, or duplicate any of the customer's concerns. His MPP warranty covers a rental car only in the even there is a claim. Since we were unable to find anything wrong with the vehicle, the rental car would not be covered.

Don't trust this place. They tamper with your cars so you end up paying for repairs caused by them. On January 03rd 2024 I took my car in due to a recall. However shortly after leaving and driving back home on the highway, my car began to drive very poorly. It would not exceed any ******************************************************************************************************* to press down hard on the gas pedal. This was a problem that had already been fixed by my mechanic. Somehow camelback hyundai kia undid the repairs.

Never again! Worst experience I ever had. Typical bait and switch with harassment sales tactics. Stay away!I walked in with my own financing from my credit union. The finance guy was adamant he can beat my credit union so I gave him the opportunity to do so. I took possession under that condition; that they provide me financing and terms better than my credit union and a conditional delivery agreement was signed. 10 days later I received a text from the finance guy who says they can not offer the financing at the terms we negotiated. The only options he gave me are 1.) I can obtain my own financing or 2.) get financed through the dealership but the dealership now wants 3 interest points higher than what was originally discussed. By this time, my credit unions financing was no longer an option and I was not going to agree to the higher interest rate. I dropped the car off that night and told the finance guy I was will not move forward with the transaction and I am no longer interested in doing business with Camelback **** I started to get harassed by the finance guy via text message after I left the dealership and I was threatened to be taken into collections if I dont pay for the mileage I put on the car. Then the sales guy, after 930pm, started to text me and claimed someone is going to lose their job over this deal if I dont buy the car. This dealer is in the ***************************** group and ************************* stands on reputation. This dealership tarnished that reputation for this location and every location associated.

Management has read this complaint and we have addressed these issues with our staff. We sincerely apologize to ******************** that he had a terrible experience with us. We dropped the ball on this car deal, and we are using this situation to train management and finance managers. We were able to match the original financing terms that ******************** had originally received from his own credit union, but at this point ******************** wanted to return the car, and we completely understand that.

Will Not Be Returning For ANY Service! Part 1 I travel for work and initially werent in from recommendation of my hometown Hyundai Dealership to have my driver power seat fixed. I went for this service 1/11/2024 and was set for this appt by Service Manager, as I was told, ****. Meeting **** he seemed be very concerned and wanted to help with my tight schedule. The appt was set @ 9:30am and would be set for pick up at 1pm. During this appt, I was under the impression there would be a diagnostic along with the actual service of getting the seat complete. It was very helpful he offered to provide me a Lyft to go home and come back, however I needed to provide my own way back which I agreed to. Being in a different state pregnant, alone, with no vehicle, I contacted him directly 15 mins after each hour to be sure it was okay to return back to pick up what I thought would be a completed service. I was told my car was ready at 3:20pm. I took a Lyft back there to be told there had to be a part ordered and would need 3 days to be retrieved, along with almost $400 payment for that part. I reluctantly agreed because I was in desperate need again with my tight time frame. I was also given a diagnosis with a Engine Valve Gasket replacement and other minor work originally. The next day, 1/12/24; I drove my car about 10 miles before seeing smoke come through my ac vents, car stalling, jerking & engine light on. Id purchased my car back in July 2020 and never had my engine light come on and also kept in great condition. I let **** know I would need it drivable within the next few days and to disregard fixing the power seat as this was now a minor issue opposed to a working car. I returned after my work trip, where my car was left sitting, 1/18/24 and was now given a new diagnosis that included now a $1500 increase due to a Tune Up being needed. What changed in a matter of hours? I explained I was not going to pay that because my car was not in that condition when I brought it.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER.I bought a CERTIFIED USED Hyundai Sonata at over $20k. I made an amateur mistake as it's been a while since I got a used car and didn't inspect the exterior.I got home and was showing it to my family and noticed a CRACK on the rear driver side bumper fascia from the taillight almost to the bottom. Went back to tell them as this would have been a deal breaker and their response was that they knew about it and "had priced it accordingly" yet somehow they forgot to tell me about it. There is also a scuff on the right rear behind the tire.I was happy about the car and changed insurance, cancelled extended warranty on trade-in, and ordered some accessories otherwise I WOULD HAVE RETURNED THE **** It is going to cost almost 2K to have it repaired and they couldn't even split 1/2 the cost of the repair. Definitely NOT going back to them for service since they have shown they cannot be trusted!!!On top of that, I immediately made an appointment for a musty/moldy smell coming from the air vents plus the wireless charging not working. At the appointment, and I have been at the dealership about 5 hours waiting, they wanted to CHARGE ME TO FIX THIS! If there is mold/mildew or a fungus growing in the ventilation system it is a HEALTH HAZARD and should be taken care of prior to selling the vehicle. Also, the *** price for a similar vehicle with no damage is between $100 less up to $2K more than what I paid which means they did NOT adjust the price for the 2K bumper damage as they stated during my questioning of why I wasnt made aware of said damage, and apparently the salesman wasnt informed either as he was visibly upset when I showed him.

Used vehicles occasionally have cosmetic damage and are priced accordingly. Our customer's have every opportunity to inspect our vehicles inside and out before they agree to purchase. We have tried several times to call the customer to address his other concerns. As of today, 1/30/24 we have not received a response. Please contact *****************, sales manager, at your earliest convenience.
