1 starI called to inquire about grooming for my cat. I told them she had anxiety and has a history of being spicy. They said not a problem if she was medicated. I made sure they knew that she could still be slightly spicy. I brought her in with all her paperwork and medicated. They started by clipping her nails, a service I did not book, and she was starting to hiss. She then attempted to shove a cone on her, which scared my cat more. When it didnt work she said Nope! and scruffed my cat. She held her by the neck all the way to her carrier and dropped her in. She then said that no one at PetSmart would be able to work with her and that she needed more medication. I will not give my cat more medication and I will not be shopping at PetSmart anymore.Review fromJenny W.

1 starWe are writing to express our dissatisfaction regarding a grooming appointment we had scheduled for our dog, *****. The appointment was scheduled for April 18, 2025 at 11:30am. Let me start by saying we have trusted PetSmart for over man years years with our pet's grooming. We have never had to complain ********* mentioned, Roxies appointment was set for 11:30. Around 2 pm, my husband received a voicemail from grooming asking if we could pick ***** up and rebook her grooming for another day due to her showing signs of stress.I contacted the store and spoke with someone in grooming. She said ***** was digging in her crate, so they thought she was stressed. I let them know that is normal behavior for her. I was transferred to the manager.A woman who identified herself as the inventory manager confirmed that ***** was digging in her crate. I was very clear with the inventory manager - I told her the digging is normal for our dog. I asked why on earth she is still in a crate at 2pm when her appointment time was 11:30? She said that 11:30 wasnt the actual appointment time - its really more of a window of time. Say what? My husband planned his entire day around the appointment time provided to us by PetSmart! Now we are being asked to rebook?In these trying economic times, we would expect that businesses would not be so quick to turn away a long-term customer in the middle of an appointment. We wont be back to PetSmart for grooming or for anything else. There are other grooming options in our town - we certainly dont need the aggravation or inconvenience that occurred today.Sincerely,***** *************** *****Review fromMichael A

1 starOn April 20, 2025, I visited the PetSmart store at ****************************************** to purchase feeder fish for my reptiles. When I spoke to the employee, *******, I clearly explained that I would be placing the fish in a separate quarantine tank first, to ensure they were healthy and wouldnt make my reptile sick. I was being responsible and transparent about the process.Despite that, she continued to ask unnecessary and repetitive questions about what I was going to do with the fish even though they were feeder fish, which are sold by PetSmart for exactly this purpose. She then said, They have to go to a good home, and dismissed my explanation entirely. When I tried to clarify again, she said, I have the right to refuse to sell to you, and walked away without any help or resolution.She also claimed to be the store manager, which I believe is not true. The tone of the interaction felt rude, judgmental, and targeted. Given that I have an accent I strongly felt that this treatment was not just unprofessional, but possibly discriminatory.Review fromCarole P

1 starCharged $160 for my small dogs grooming appointment this week. He is 10 pounds. They added sooo many extra ridiculous charges. Should have been 72 for a grooming appointment but said took extra time so total was $166. That is crazy. And a rip offReview fromVeronica V

1 starManager ***** is terrible. **** and terrible customer service. If you run into an issue at this store and want to speak with a manager, expect her to yell from across the store that there is nothing she can do and then walks away. 1 stari've been bringing my dog to Petsmart grooming for the last two years since we got her as a puppy and never had an issue and then the last time that I brought her I noticed that they didn't grind her nails. I typically get the pedicure plus which includes grinding, which I thought was weird, but whatever the next time that I brought her in which is about a month apart, and they kept telling me that the grooming salon was closed or that they didn't have enough people, and that I needed to come back or wait in my car for a couple of hours until they could get someone in there and then I decided to reach out to customer service and call and they told me that was flagged for being behavioral due to safety reasons. I never was notified. This has been going on for the last two weeks now playing phone tag between the groomers and the management and customer service have yet to have them reach out to me. I am beyond fed up and on top of that whatever they did to get her to get her nails cut the last time absolutely traumatized my she pulls away. She had an accident on the floor, so regardless of whether or not she was behavioral they should have stopped in the middle of her grooming to tell me that she was unfit to be groomed instead of doing what Lord knows whatever they did to hold her down or whatever to get her to get her nails cut and now I have to deal traumatized dog playing phone tag with terrible groomers and no one will tell me what the h*** is going on. Definitely do not recommend which ***** because again like I said, I've been going to them for the last two years. I guess they will be losing my business as well. Do not recommend. Also not to mention they randomly close when online they have set hours. They're never open later than it seems like three or 4 online if I'm not mistaken is six or 7 which ***** because I Work til 3 so the fact that I have to call every single time before I bring my dog in there to figure out if they're actually openReview fromKelly M

1 starTwo weeks ago, on a Sunday, I placed my usual online order and selected "Ship to Home", paying the $5.99 shipping fee. My rural address is not available for the ************************* since we are 33 miles from the closest store. Around 6 pm on Monday, I received an email that the order had shipped. Thursday afternoon, I still did not have my items so I checked the tracking number in the email. The tracking number opened a link to the ******** website where it said my order had been cancelled by the driver! I immediately placed a new order for the same items and selected "Ship to Home" once again. I then contacted **************** through the website asking for help in receiving a refund for my cancelled order. A CS *** sent me an email asking if I wanted a refund or a reship of the order. Since I already reordered the items, I asked for a refund. A couple of hours later, I got an email stating that my items had shipped! When I reached out to customer service again, they replied saying there was nothing that they could do and that I could return the items to a store once I receive them. I told them to set up a pick up with ***** because I didn't ask for this order to be shipped to me. When **************** initiated the return, I received an email stating that I would receive a refund for the total price of the items, but not the shipping charge. I reached out to **************** again and asked for the shipping charge to be refunded, because again, I had already reordered the items and did not need this order and asked for a refund. ***** picked up the box, the box was received at their warehouse the next day, and I am still waiting on my refund. I was told that since I used AfterPay, I couldn't receive a refund until the order was fully paid which is a month from now! It also does not state this in Petsmart's policy on ******** on their website. I've asked for a Manager to reach out to me in 4 emails and this has been ignored every time.
