I had high iron in my blood nine years ago from multi-vitamins with iron. My doctor advised to switch multi-vitamins and start donating blood at work until he told me to stop. I discontinued after about 4 months. Vitalant somehow acquired this information without my knowledge or consent and have harassed me for many years about donating in spite of me changing residences including leaving ******** 8 years ago. I cannot block them from calling as they keep changing phone numbers. Telling them I'm not interested in dealing with their company has not affected their continuing harassment.Business response

Receiving multiple robocalls (on average one a week) on two different phone numbers ************* and ************), I have never donated blood through this company and never signed up to be harassed like this.The only mechanism to stop the calls is to give them even more personal information.Business response

I donate blood regularly yet I still receive calls from vitalant up to 3 times a day sometimes back to back, Ive asked to be placed on do not call list, Ive blocked the number, Ive done everything I can think of to stop these harassing phone calls but nothing works. At this point I need to consider getting a new phone number. What kind of business model is this? Go harass the people who dont donate.Business response

I get repeated robocalls from this company multiple times per month asking for donations, always from different numbers. I already donate blood through other channels when I can; I don't need the constant annoying reminders. As there is no clear way to have my phone number placed on their do-not-call list, I'm placing this complaint.Business response

I have been getting countless calls from various phone numbers from Vitalant (so I cant even block them, bc they just call from a different number). Like others have mentioned, its borderline harassment. Looks like to have them stop calling you, you need to mail in the request, which is absurd and inconvenient, especially as I never gave them my phone number in the first place.Business response

I am bugged at least once, or twice a week with phone calls that are automated and a voice message about Vitalant. Sometimes I can block the calls and sometimes I cannot. It is very frustrating and annoying that they keep bugging me about donating blood. Its something I wanna do but I will not do it now because it continually harass phone calls at least once or twice a month in fact, this morning, I got three phone calls in a row in a row! I really hope they can take me off their mailing list because it is truly annoying!! I want to donate blood, but it will probably not be with them. I really really want them to take me off their list and it seems difficult to do so sometimes .Business response

Vitalant calls my cell number consistently even though I have never donated blood to them, nor have I ever consented to receive these calls. There's no clear way to be added to their do not call list. In fact, when I spoke with a representative over the phone, they demanded I give them more personal information in order to remove me, stating I cannot be removed unless I provide them with additional personal information. I politely declined their request for more of my personal information, then asked to speak with a manager. I was hung up on. I just want them to stop calling me.Business response

I am repeatedly getting unwanted, unsolicited robocalls from this company, the most recent being today, and the previous one 4 days ago. I generally get a couple of calls from them a week, and when I block the number, they just use another number to call me. I've only donated blood once, and it was many, many years ago. I will never do it again, since apparently the "reward" is to be hounded by blood donation organizations like Vitalant. I WANT MY NAME AND NUMBER REMOVED FROM THEIR CALL LIST.Business response

I weekly or more receive phone calls which lead to voicemail about donating blood. This is ***** with vitalant is the usual voicemail. I asked a month ago for these to stop and was told they would and accepted to close my complaint yet they have not CEASEd and I am STILL RECEIVING THESE CALLS AND VOICEMAILS.Business response

While we updated your contact request, a separate system update voided our request. Thanks to your feedback, we were able to identify other affected donors. We will monitor your account daily until February to ensure you are not receiving calls.
