1 starHad to take my car to these people four times because they kept messing it up and then I think the intentionally messed up my car cuz I'm getting a weird smell and my car was lagging they told me I needed this told me I needed that turns out I didn't need the audio control box they hooked it up the wrong way which messed with my digital dash and then after they installed the third amplifier obviously 130 amp alternator cannot power 500 amps worth of amplifiers so these people are not professionals because they should know that this would not work instead of just connecting it into my car messing up my alternator so now I have to wait and see what the dealership says since I had a check engine light on and weird smells after these guys touch my **** car they did not respond to any messages or anything This might have to go to court now if they messed up my electrical system because of what they did.Review fromJACK C

1 starTook my car in to have them figure out what happened to my system, they said it was a blown speaker and replaced it ($200)+, as soon as I started driving home it was still crackling and popping. I gave them a call and **** told me I needed to understand where they were coming from and begun explaining how it wasnt their fault they didnt solve the issue because how else were they supposed to know. I took it back and was then told I needed an entirely new system because the people who installed it before (still audio express, same store) did it incorrectly. **** told me he would order parts and was giving it to me way cheaper and as a deal. The new system ended up being $500 + and it took weeks for them to call me regarding getting the parts. **** then made sure to let me know he called some place frantically looking for this wire needed for my car and said the packaging was opened but had never been used and chose to use that. After all this installation and time, he then lets me know that my back up camera had stopped working and they couldnt figure out why. **** tells me to come back again to get the camera installed when they receive it and was going on and on about how he was going to make it free for me (Audio Express is the one who broke my original camera in the first place). The new back up camera is worse than my original one. It is attached to a thin wire that I can easily move with my fingers. They removed my plate cover (because it didnt work with the camera) and chose not to tell me that, and did not put my plate cover back on, just thrown in the trunk. The camera if it gets wet AT ALL, I cannot see anything. The lines on the camera to guide when you park, are aimed upwards and I cannot change it. Audio Express created more issues than they fixed, practiced unethically and charged me significantly higher for issues they created.Review fromJavier R

Took my 2022 ****** ****** for an upgrade and now 3 of my 4 windows do not work. Very unprofessional people. They called and told me that the car was ready then when I got there they gave me the run around saying that they were making adjustment to find out that they had done something that my windows no longer work. To top it off they didnt install what I asked for and the stereo sounds like c***Audio Express

There was an issue with the customers drivers door window switch "shorting" out - We took care of that issue a local ****** dealership and now all windows work properly - the customer has not mentioned any dissatisfaction with the items we installed for him - which he personally picked out - if he has any issues with his product he is alwasy welcome to stop by for a resolutionReview fromJerry R

in order to respond to this specific situation it would be helpful if we had detailed information such as sales total, location, prodcuts involved, type of vehicle etc. Since the type of work we do involves installing mobile electronics into vehicles, a number of variables exist that are dependant on the condtion of the vehicle and/or the condition of products already in the vehicle. The process can and does change not only once we initially inspect a vehicle but also once we "get inside" it. Our sales staff should have alerted this customer (as they are trained to do) that even though we use our best effort to provide accurate quotes, unforseen variables come into play when we inspect the vehicle which (given the lack or detail provided) is most likely the case.Review fromMaykel L

On Wednesday March 5th , while " installing my stereo, they broke my radiator, after charging me 2000 dollars for a stereo and installation. And they didn't even finish the install correctly, using the wrong type of wiring and only connecting one of my 2 subwoofers. Also after accusing the car dealership of rigging or ****** mousing my radiator and trying to put the blame off on the dealership since no one else other than them had worked on my SUV , they went ahead and did their own ***** mousing to the radiator without my consent, just to blame the car dealership for the radiator being broke. Later telling me " don't worry no one here is a certified mechanic but my boy ( his coworker ) knows a little bit about this stuff and patched up himself. Even cemented the plastic radiator and all. But you're now gonna need a new radiator. " You can't trust the work they do on your car any longer. They don't accept accountability for what they break or do wrong to your car. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Even worse installation. For every complaint they give some type of excuse afterwards instead of fixing the issue. They're bold faced liars. My vehicle went in with a perfectly good working radiator and left with a half a** installation, and a cracked radiator. Any other business would have done what they're supposed to and made right for damaging my vehicle. Only this company has the nerve to say that a car dealership has to have done it right before I bought the car 2 to 4 weeks ago.Audio Express

This customer brought in a just recently purchased 2012 ****** for a stereo installation. We noticed a leaky radiator, pointed that out and provided a temporary fix so he wouldnt have to incur the cost of towing the vehicle from our shop. Since the work we perform doesn't involve working with or near the radiator in any way, it is simply not possible we could have caused a "crack" to occur. Unfortunately, since we do have vehicles in our facility due to the nature of our business, we often deal with unfounded accusations of damages that are clearly pre-existing. With respect to his "wiring" concern, we exclusively use only premium brand products, and he brought in his own subwoofers already wired in the box. We explained to him we are more than happy to have him return to evaluate what issues he may have even if it includes having to repair the subwoowfer pre-existing wiring that possibly is faulty. I've had an appointment for 2 weeks at ********** location in ******, **. I arrived at 845 am 1/17/2024 for a 9am appt. The store didn't get unlocked until 915. At 245 pm today they called me to say they can't get to my car. Unfortunately I am 62 moles away. Why did they even make an appointment? Now the manager wont *************.Audio Express

We sincerely apologize for not communicating better with this customer, when on the day of his appointment unexpected illnesses to both our store manager and one of our installation staff prevented us from working on his vehicle. He was offered the option to leave his vehicle overnight for completion the next day, but declined. o oske this as short as possible so much went wrong with this install to list in one post My mom contacted ***************** to get a quote installing my new speakers, stereo/head unit with ons and back up camera we looked at a few places but I figured the are all over the country so I should be able to trust yh with my new ride Let's start with the head unit/stereo , the new kind wit back up camera , hands free talking etc which means it has to connect to your stealing wheel for the controls there as well as other things which I'll get to . Anyway they told her 150 to hook up stereo which doubled 150 per PAIR of speakers which doubled to 360 1 amp to be mounted under back seats or in storage area at which point he says the amp I bougt wasn't enough and the 4 guage MEW wiring that goes with it the can't use they only use theirs anyway I need two for 10 inch sub 6 speakers and 4 tweeters he says so I'm like ok I m thinking that's cool it's not about the money I just want it done right I payed ****** I want it done professional and looking professional. I stressed that I wanted the camera and obs unit hooked up he's like that's pretty obvious and he was right I provided all of it and it's all placed neatly In the back and I'm showing it all to him and it's all new on the box I stress this because letter on I get called a lier when I got back to Vegas and the head office texted to see if I was satisfied they said I provided cheap used equipment I have receipts and it's listed on my Amazon account and by no means is it cheap why would I spend that much on a jeep and **** on a install just to use cheap used equipment? I wouldn't who would? Back to the install wait there wasn't one amps slid under front seats not mounted speakers and subwoofer not mounted they were velcoed to carpet no tweeters in front left open holes no stereo they broke it and kept my Factory one and speakers they installed one set and didn't hook up camera or obs threatened me broke a speaker out of room:-(Sarah Smith

Continued...... They stated it would only take 1 day the first day 4 hrs in he says one of my new never taken out of the box untill i took them out to show them to him had a hole im thinking how did it come that way i didnt see it when we opened it but when i looked after picking up the jeep it was huge and obviously they did it why would i take it there and try to install knowing its not going to work ? So i buy a pair from them $78 i was told but when i picked up the jeep it was over 200 . Later that day 5;00 i get a call saying we cant finnish today im like theres now way you can cause i explaind i have to leave in the morning to go home no we cant but everything is sounding good its going to be loud . So why isnt it done? Sounds like it is. Next day its supposed to be done no later than 12 i call at 12 we just have a few loose ends to tie up but its going good sounds awesome and is very loud. at 4 he finnally calls ....Just one problem stereo doesnt work im like what happened he said you brought us a broke sttereo i ask the one that yesterday and a few hrs ago sounded awesome and very load he says yes it nevber worked ok so how did you get sound and you tested everything no explanation no time to get another before they close and when i said its new you guys broke it he got irate and when i told him not to speak to me hateful he said ill show your f***** a** hateful and threatened me im like calm down ill just come get it . I was scared and just got out fast once they finally pulled it out it took 45 min i was told i got what i asked for . But what i asked and paid for was a system hooked up and working with camera i got 1 set of speakers installed cheap cable ran to a woofer woofer not mounted just velcrow on bottom and the two speakers in back i was chaeged 360 for special mout which turned out to be velcro and stuck to wheel well already fell off front tweeters **************************************************************************************** box the kept all but one factory speaker left my air vents out took my working factory stereo and open hole in dash now and again i was told this is what i asked for. When i went there i had a really good factory system just didnt have backup camera i bought a camera and killer system to replace it now i have nothing just a trashed ****** jeep yes it was a MESS oil on seats one seat ripped and glue in it to cover up i guess its mind blowing that they did this and tell me you got what you wanted. This customer came to us with products not purchased from us and wanted them installed in a vehicle that very clearly had been subjected to prior installation attempts (which we pointed out prior to us doing any work). We sold products that amounted to amout $800 and performed about $1150 of work in labor. All labor was done to the customers exact specifications. There were numerous issues with the customer provided products and they didn't perform to the customers expectations. Because the primary issues were with the product they provided we simply cannot warranty products we didnt sell. We stand behind all products we sold which worked fine and are still in customers possession. When the customer ************************ dissatifaction with our policy we offered to refund $575 (half) of the labor charges even though all the work as specified was done. The customer refused in a less than diplomatic response and we elected to discontinue resolving the issue until the customer could conduct themselves more properly. Our 1/2 labor refund offer still stands, however since all products remain in their possession we cannot offer a refund on those.
