I went to FastMed urgent care in Happy Valley, ********, **. I prepaid the amount of $31 requested for my visit on July 6, 2023. I have never received any other request for payment via email, mail, text, or telephone call. Today I got a text message from ********************** for an unpaid debt of $126. Obviously, FastMed had my cell number but they never tried calling. I also provided my home address during my visit. I don't appreciate being turned into a collection agency for something that has never been attempted to be collected. This is completely irresponsible by FastMed not to make any attempt to collect a balance they feel I owe.

On the date of November 2nd, I went into NextCare urgent care for a blood test to make sure I did not have something that could be spread. Upon arrival I asked the front desk how much I could expect to pay for the test, they told me between $80 and $150. This is important for later because I specifically asked the price of the visit. After waiting for ************************************************************************************************************************* the information on whether I had the virus or not. I said okay, thank you and declined the test. All of which took less than a minute. As I was leaving the provider was talking to the front desk and was shocked they were attempting to charge me. They showed me the price of the visit as $240 before insurance. After insurance it was $90. I informed the front desk I received no service and did not wish to pay, on top of the fact they concealed these prices from me when I asked about them when I came in. If the test is between $80 and $150 then it would have never been $80 if it was $90 without the test. I told her I never would have even walked back there if I knew this. She said I was required to pay $50 before leaving, so I did so and left. When I got home I called and left a complaint for nextcare as well as leaving a ****** review. On November 10th I called nextcare billing again to leave another complaint and was told someone would reach out to me later. I then called my insurance company and filed an appeal, and then called my credit card company to file a dispute.Today on November 16th I received a call from nextcare's billing department telling me they never received my complaints and that I owe the $40 still according to the manager. I told them I am still waiting to hear back from anyone and that I will be seeking a refund for the $50 I paid.

In April 2023 I visited HonorHealth Heart group, upon arrival I did pay my insurance ** pay for the visit.During the visit the physician suggested a monitoring device on my chest.I asked what if and how much additional charges are apart from what I already paid.they stated they will check with my insurance from their office.I waited above ****************************************************************************** I asked again on charges and was told there are none.Surprisingly I was billed in September 2023, 5 months after the visit, another ** pay from a third part provider (Boston scientific) , which stated that they own the device, which I was not told by anybody in ** Heart Group, and I need to pay another **mpany for their services.upon calling Boston Scientific, they stated that the staff at ** is trained to inform patient on that, this was not done by **Heart Group staff at all, as I asked explicit about any charges for placing the device. My insurance carrier did check if anyone of ** heart checked on **st, and they have no call for that. ** states that they did that online, and that the online version of my carrier does say no **sts( which is not **rrect , as the ** manager provided a **de to the Healthcare insurance on which they based their so called no **st information, and the **de **vers info on the device, but it says no preautorization required, but a ** pay amount. so eveidently ** staff does not know the difference between no **st overall and no pre authorization.Nevertheless I was told no added **st for me at all on my April 2023 visit. I was sent for a work issued lab test after being involved in a hit and run accident by a drunk driver the evening before. After and hour of sitting in the waiting room the nurse informed me that since I was chewing gum that it would interfere with the results. She gave me two options: that I could wait a while or I could have it rescheduled. Since I'd already been there for so long I chose to have that test rescheduled and continued on with the other drug test. The next day I found out that the lab falsified the records and said that I "refused" to take the **** This ultimately led to me being terminated from my job. Nowhere did I sign anything stating/acknowledging refusal nor was that word ever brought ** in the lab office.

On 1/26/23 I went to my primary care physician to get a letter of medical necessity for a surgery. My doctor said it wasn't necessary for me to be charged for my appointment since it wasn't a medical visit. I told her I already paid my copay at the counter upon arrival, so she went and got me a refund. Now I get a letter in the mail telling me my bill is going to collections, when I called HonorHealth's liaison told me the receipts I have of payment/refund are not valid proof. They also said that because they voided the payment instead of refunding me (when my receipt says refund, not voided) I am responsible for my bill that is now in collections, even after being told that I wasn't responsible for payment on 1/26/23

I visited HonorHealth Medical Group - ******* ************ on 11/7/2022 for annual well woman exam that is covered by my insurance as preventive care. During the visit the doctors asked the basic health questions, listened to my lungs, recorded some vitals etc. but nothing special. Doctors also asked about any specific issues that I may be having etc. so I told couple of issues related to hair fall, swelling in legs etc. As part of the preventive visit, they submitted a request for blood work as well which is all normal. But to my surprise I received couple of bills from Honor Health for Dr. ***** as well as for the blood work even though it was a Well Woman Annual visit.I have been chasing Honor Health's billing department for last 8 months and they said this is a coding issue and will be fixed. After multiple back and forth with Honor Health billing department and with assistance from my insurance, I was told that they will not fix the issue and I am obliged to pay the amount. I even requested them to use the correct code for my annual well woman visit. This has happened to me for the second time, really a bad practice from Honor Health. Basically I visited for one specific reason but they are charging me for something else, that too without even informing me. I never was told or agreed to an appointment where I had to pay. Mentally I feel like I have been harassed for no reason and wasted a lot of my time while dealing with their multiple departments. This is definitely a fraudulent medical practice from Honor Health and their doctors, it has happened to me twice. I also see similar complaints from many people, some action should be taken against them. Never going to use their services again or recommend to anyone.

I had the unfortunate need to have to visit their location at ****************************************************************************** on May 23rd. My foot is broken and I called ahead of time to see if they could assist with a broken foot and they said definitely and scheduled me for an appointment at 4 PM.Not only was the lady at the front desk absolutely unbearable but also I had to wait almost an hour and a half past my scheduled time to be seen by the doctor. The doctor walks in to look at my foot and simply says **** that looks painful but unfortunately we dont have an X-Ray machine. Which would have been fine, of course, had I not called ahead of time to make sure they could accommodate me. Without any further questioning, the doctor immediately prescribes me pain killers and sends me on my way.I would like a refund for this visit as that was probably the most pointless doctor visit I have ever had. I did not pick up the prescription because thats not what I had come there for and seems incredibly irresponsible to take one look at a foot and immediately resort to pain killers.

Unable to file until now due to trauma from medical abuse. Sometime around 2017/18, a nurse practitioner at an HonorHealth facility, while administering a rectal exam, became infuriated during the exam with me, the patient, giving me a look of fury and accusing me of being high, all with her finger still penetrating me. When I said yes (I smoke due to years of abuse, especially from medical professionals), she then abruptly ended the exam, making a sound of disgust, and ended the appointment. I was a medical marijuana cardholder. This was medical malpractice/sexual assault.

I scheduled a visit with Honor Health for my free yearly physical that is required by my insurance so I can receive a $500 incentive. The wording is important because a certain code must be used for this visit. I saw the ******* ****************************** on 2/6/23 and he asked some basic questions, listened to my lungs, but nothing special. I also told him I needed my prescriptions refilled. He wanted to do blood work which I fully expected.A few weeks later I received a bill for $139.46 for my visit. After multiple calls to Honor Health with assistance from my insurance and a review by Honor Health, they will not change the coding. And they still insist I pay the bill. They will not add the code for my physical even though thats why I specifically made the appointment and it says in my health records that is why I was there. So I cant get my incentive money unless I make another appointment.I went for one specific thing, they are charging me for something else (without informing me prior), they will not remove the charges and now I will be taken to collections if I dont pay the bill.I never was told or agreed to an appointment where I had to pay. I specifically asked for an appointment to get my free physical.I feel like they are robbing me and Honor Health is not being held accountable. This is fraudulent medical practice. Honor Health and this doctor need to be held accountable.
