No stars for imemories, They advertise to take all your media and put it online, etc. I sent 26 reels of video and got 3 minute snipits from each reel. NOT WHAT THEY ADVERTISE AND NOT HAPPY WITH WHAT I GOT!! Totally missleading and a ripoff. They lie to get your money but don't deliver. Sorry company, they need to be closed down for false ads.iMemories

During the digital conversion process, each film reel, videotape, and DVD is processed individually and uploaded as separate albums within your iMemories account.With 26 film reels, you will see 26 individual albums online, each containing 34 minutes of footage. These are not snippets but the full content that was originally recorded. We strive to provide a seamless and organized experience, making it easy for you to access and enjoy your cherished memories.These are your memories to view and save however you prefer. If you load a reel on a projector, you would watch at least 30 minutes of video! LIAR LIAR! THey are snipits in every way because they are only short 1 -2 minute videos in each icon stupid people! I watched those when we were kids!! Each reel should have a constant entire 30 minutes without stopping, not 1-2 minute SNIPITS! Stop lying when I know the truth. You advertise false intentions to innocent people who pay you alot of money and then you have the ***** to argue the truth??? Just stop and better change your ads.iMemories

Sent my only video tape of my grandparents to have digitized. They kept it 5 weeks and while they digitized it they overlaid soap opera sound over the videos. I complained and they said they would redo it. Never happened. Kept getting runaround. Paid for expedited service. Finally told them to send back and wanted refund. Have not got refund back. **** is in mail and currently tracking it. Bought a clear click conversion unit to do it myself. Utterly poor service from them. Dont waste your time.iMemories

After thorough research, our team discovered that your tape had been previously used to record TV shows before being recorded over with your home video. While the original TV shows were no longer visible, some of their audio remained on a separate audio channel. This is a rare occurrence. Weve only encountered it a handful of times over our 20 years in business.Once we identified the issue, we sent the tape back for reprocessing to retrieve the correct audio channel. However, since you requested the tapes return, we were unable to complete that process. If you attempt to process the tape on your own, you may run into the same audio issue. Should you decide to have it digitized again, we would be more than happy to assist you in resolving this.A refund for the digital conversion work has already been issued, and we truly regret any inconvenience this caused. Would not recommend to other people. Very expensive when they finally digitalized my VHSs I couldnt download them and they disappeared so I had to pay to have them put on a flash drive. What a rip off. Total amount was about ******??iMemories

BEWARE!!! Don't waste your money!!!!I thought what a great idea to get a tape that my fiance has which has his dad who's passed away on it...digitized for his birthday. So I've paid to send the tape in and to send it back to me. Is it digitzed and waiting in the albums...Nope. I guess deployment videos from the Navy are copyrighted?!? They aren't very clear with what this service actually is and how it works...not all the pricing is up front either. Beware that this is a paid monthly to have access to it company. You do not get to download it in that 30 day window as promised. You will not get told when they actually get done processing it, the tape will just show up at your door one day. I'd find another company to use all together or go **** down an old VHS player...probably cheaper!!iMemories

Misleading Pricing iMemories advertised $14.99 to convert a VHS tape to a digital option where we can download it later for free. It didn't mention the cost to send the tapes (another $14.99) until you went through the process. Then, once they have the tapes, they reached out to ask for payment before they transferred them. Unfortunately, there is another $20.99 fee to return the two VHS tapes and there is no option to return them at a cheaper price or dispose of them and not pay the return rate. I reached out to the company and the customer service representative told me their policy is they have to return the tapes and agreed that the pricing isn't clear. I asked to speak to a supervisor. Days later, I sent another email reiterating my request to speak to a supervisor. I have heard nothing from them. At this point, my option is to get my tapes back and pay $35 for sending them there and back to not get them digitized or pay more than twice what I thought the price was on their website to get them digitized. Their pricing should be clear on the website, this is very misleading. I am still waiting for a response from the company. I would not use this company again, unless they can make their pricing more clear and make things right. I can't find anywhere on the website (even the link the customer service representative sent) a place where it says the shipping fees for the return (and the requirement that the tapes must be returned). This is extremely misleading and it seems to be misleading on purpose. I am disappointed and would not recommend this company.iMemories

It was probably in very fine print but I'm very disappointed in this company. I sent in all my videos. I did not realize that I had to continue to pay a monthly subscription plan to have access to my memories. I downloaded the videos and canceled my subscription. Turns out I did not had access to them after I downloaded them and canceled now I can't even sign back up to have my videos. They are gone forever. Do better!iMemories

It has taken over a moth to process 20 videos, and there are still several outstanding that has not shown up as converted. Once the videos show availability on the website and we try to download them, the few that are downloading take days. Not 12 hours... We have not been able to download most of them. It appears as if iMemories is wanting you to purchase their storage options because it sure seems easier than to wait for the downloads. The quality of the videos is not the best but whatever... We are still waiting for them to return the tapes.iMemories
