It was probably in very fine print but I'm very disappointed in this company. I sent in all my videos. I did not realize that I had to continue to pay a monthly subscription plan to have access to my memories. I downloaded the videos and canceled my subscription. Turns out I did not had access to them after I downloaded them and canceled now I can't even sign back up to have my videos. They are gone forever. Do better!iMemories

Your order was completed in August 2021, and we see that you subscribed to the monthly cloud storage plan and downloaded your videos. When you requested to ****** the subscription on October 13, 2021, the representative informed you that you would have access until 11/12/2021 to ensure your memories were fully downloaded. They also explained that once your access ended, your videos would be removed from our system and could not be retrieved.On 11/9/2021, you contacted us again to confirm whether you would still have access after the subscription ended. The representative reiterated that access would no longer be available, and your videos would be removed ***** days after the subscription ended. They also advised ensuring you had a complete backup of your memories before that time frame to prevent any loss.While we cannot offer to store media indefinitely at no cost, we did keep your videos in our system until February 2023. At that time, they were removed due to account inactivity and the lack of response to the email notifications we sent, informing you of the upcoming *********** love the opportunity to make this right. If you still have the original videotapes, we can offer a discounted rate to re-digitize your media. Additionally, we can provide a prepaid ***** shipping label so you can send them back to us at no cost.Please dont hesitate to reach outwed be happy to discuss this further and find the best resolution for you.iMemories

It has taken over a moth to process 20 videos, and there are still several outstanding that has not shown up as converted. Once the videos show availability on the website and we try to download them, the few that are downloading take days. Not 12 hours... We have not been able to download most of them. It appears as if iMemories is wanting you to purchase their storage options because it sure seems easier than to wait for the downloads. The quality of the videos is not the best but whatever... We are still waiting for them to return the tapes.iMemories

Absolutely awful experience.They claimed my VHS was flaking and damaged. And this not serviceable.They also claimed to have repaired the torn ribbon. Neither of these things were true. It VHS was never worked on or repaired. It came back to me in the exact same condition never having even been opened. Then the customer service proceeded to argue with me and refuse a full refund. Absolutely horrendous turnaround time (6 weeks for no work to be done) and atrocious customer service. Take your business elsewhere. I did and was very satisfied.iMemories

We were terribly upset and disappointed when we saw your so-called professionally digitized videos. There was no improvement at all, and the audio was not even there on some of the videos. And all the videos were not even transferred. We would like a full refund. We made a DVD from one of the video tapes years ago and that DVD is better than what you did. This one-of a kind experience was awful. Your reviews seem too good to be true, and they are.iMemories

IMemories is absolutely a scam! Buy the box, buy to get uploaded and then buy dvd. Then pay for shipping! It would have cost $40 to get 1 tape changed to DVD. I had to pay shipping charges to send everything back. **************** is horrible!iMemories

This company is a ripoff. I guess you better read all the fine print before you do anything with them. I was under the impression I was paying for a disc to be sent to me that was digitized. Nope, I was paying them to digitize it so I could pay even more money to be able to even view it after 30 days. If you try to put it on a flashdrive you have to pay for that and they make you pay $19.99 for shipping to load it onto the flashdrive. What shipping charges are there to load it on a flashdrive. What a joke. What a way to totally rip people off. My video was not very clear after they digitized it and I reached out and asked them if they could go ahead and do the ** inhancement on it since they still have the original video and was told no they could not do that nor could they give me a new quote. I guess it is a one and done. Not a happy customer and definitly do not recomend this company for anything. Stay away unless you want to throw a bunch of money away and get nothing for it.iMemories

I have been in contact with iMemories about my video. When I downloaded the video that was looked over I came to find out they cut out the first 2 minutes of the video. I reached out and let them know and they told me to send the tape back in and they would try to recapture the first two minutes. They did redo the full video but now you cannot see anything on the video because there are large purple lines all accross the video. I do not understand how it is they can get a pretty clear video the first time and them they get a really crappy video the second time. Did my tape get damaged when they did their process. This is the only original anything I have of my late father walking me down the isle. I am very dissapointed in the quality. The first one would have been fine had they not cut out the first two minutes of the video.iMemories

Unfortunately, the issues youre seeing are a result of wear on the tape itself. Our team has carefully run your tape through multiple pieces of equipment in an effort to achieve the best possible capture. However, due to the condition of the ribbon, repeated attempts to play it would only cause further deterioration. To prevent any additional damage, we will not be running the tape again.We do see that you were able to download both the original capture and the second, shortened capture. The second capture is the best possible version we could obtain. Total scam! Stay away from! Yep. Its true. I just tried to access my memories and before you can do that you have to pay a monthly storage fee. I just paid $200 for the conversion of a few tapes! Now they want more money! Beyond disappointed!iMemories

What is up with this??? I paid $16.38 for a box to ship my tapes to IMemories for digital conversion and on 9/4/24 was charged another $125.78 for the process. Now it is November 24 and I cant even download or view my digital videos without paying a subscription fee of $7.99 per month or $59.99 per year. What exactly did I get for my money. A 30 day viewing period and then closed out unless I buy the subscription. This is a rip-off. They should do a much better job of letting customers know that there are hidden charges. Sorry I spend my money here. I am now out almost $150.00 with not a thing to show for it. Deceitful business practices. ****** ******iMemories

I have changed my mind and would use I Memories again now that I know fully how it works. Paid to have a box sent to me. Paid $14.99 + $4.99 each (AI)(6 items) put on blue ray dvds (50% off coupon). Plus $27.07 to have originals sent back. Total, a little over $157.00. Havent received dvds. Emailed back and forth 11 times. Sent screen shots, emailed my receipt. Theyre still claiming that payment wasnt for dvds. Total rip off, go elsewhere.
