  This is the worst place to get your EMT license as they are unorganized, unprofessional, and knowingly committing crimes. From my experience and the collective agreement amongst my class and former classes from this school, there should be a class action lawsuit filed against this company in my professional opinion. I was a victim of consumer fraud as I was double charged for the course when I had signed up. I only know this by looking at my credit card statement and seeing two charges for the course both at different amount more than what was tuition. I had let ***** and ***** about this double charged and was assured that it would be taken care of within 30 days. I reached out multiple times for months and got the same responses of we are processing your refund. What I learned from my bank was that they push it off until after 90 days when you can no longer dispute charges and must look to legal action to receive your money. Any charge you get from EMSU dispute immediately. On top of committing consumer fraud, do not expect to have teachers be there on time or at all, or to receive your clearance to take the ***** until at least 2 months after the course ends. Multiple classes were cancelled or started halfway thru the day. Some instructors are knowledgeable and able to connect with the students. Others will rant about trauma they have experience as an EMT and make students feel uncomfortable. Below I attached picture of the process of receiving a refund which I have not receive even though they have known for over 4 months. Overall, this is a scam of a company that no one should ever go to as it does not prepare students and actively breaks contracts they have with their students.

  Don't go here and waist your time and money. EMSU was a nightmare the only plus side is the instructor we had as a class. For starters we had our instructor leave due to new job commitments and he let us know week one, fast forward to when he left and we had to go on Zoom or drive two hours to another location and miss crucial in class hand on portions since they didn't find a replacement. The last straw was the final weekend. We had our final changed on us which we weren't prepared for and the information on the exam was not covered. It was like studying for Geometry and getting an algebra test. It's still math but vastly different topics. we were told from the beginning of class if you study the course martial, quizzes, and Test you would see the same style of questions for the final. After the test we sat for hours while the one admin lady graded. 12+ hours later we were sent home with no answers to questions or knowing if we passed or failed the exam. The next day still not knowing for hours they reported missing exams, no answers to the mix up on the final. If you happened to fail you have to retake the final with no information on what to study since its not covered in our block of instruction. The only reason it I gave it two stars instead of one is cause the teachers are great and how hard ***** works for this place they are the bright side to this very poorly operated company.
