On Saturday, April 12, 2025, I was misled into thinking this had something to do with the l forever warranty I had on a vehicle I just purchased from *******. I asked them time and time again about the money I had to pay and that it was only a ONE time charge that I had to pay in order to maintain my warranty, and that I would not be charged any further in the future. I have since received communication from yet another company that is expecting me to make 24 monthly payments of roughly $150 a month. I cannot and refuse to pay out. It turns out to be a third-party that is in NO way is related to ******* and my current warranty. I felt EXTREMELY pressured and felt as if I had no other choice because if I didnt make payment THAT day, I thought I would lose my Warranty. After further research into the warranty that I had on my vehicle, I realized they were in no way related. I want my money back and do not EVER want to hear from this company again upon receiving my refund in full! This is money I absolutely do NOT have to spare and only paid it out of desperation to keep my warranty on my new vehicle.I REFUSE to pay this money, even if I did had it, which I dont!Business Response

I continue to receive aggressive, unsolicited, misrepresentative marketing letters from Evercare Direct, LLC regarding the [purported] imperative nature of my urgent need to respond to their warnings that my vehicle's warranty is about to expire - or already has expired (which it has not) - and that I must immediately call them or forfeit any chance of being approved for warranty coverage for my vehicle. My ******* is currently still under its original 5-year/100,000-mile new car warranty, and when it expires, in a couple of months, I will be purchasing an extended, bumper-to-bumper, new car-equivalent vehicle service contract directly from the ******* dealer who has been servicing my vehicle since I purchased it new. What I would like to know is, with all of the BBB-registered customer complaints, and with every single customer review - of which there were simply too many to read every single one - rated at ONE STAR, and with most reviewers wishing they had a "Zero-Star" option, how is it that the BBB even continues to have this business (and I use that term loosely) "accredited", and continues t5o bless this 'business' with its official [Defacto] stamp of approval?Business Response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. However, I am still agast that BBB grants accreditation to any business with this many complaint, and which elicits unanimous 1-star reviews which are too many to be able to read them all. Which brings into question the value, and the trustworthiness of businesses that advertise having BBB accreditation. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

I continue to receive misleading letters from this company stating that my brand new vehicle is either expired or expiring soon and that I will be responsible for all repairs. I havent even had my first oil change and I most certainly have a warranty on my vehicle. There went on to tell me that the maintenance / power train warranty I got through the dealership was illegal and invalid because my dealership isnt licensed to sell warranty insurance. The person on the phone said that they worked with Buick directly and are the only company ***** uses for extended warranties - a complete lie. If my Buick ap knows my VIN and mileage why would he not since Buick told him to call me? ?? This company is awful and needs to be shut down. I can only imagine that there are probably people who will fall for this and somehow they continue to get away with it. What they are selling is a scam.Business Response

I received a letter from Evercare Direct on Feb 21, 2025 that at first looks like it might be from ****. This letter contains similar verbage as other letters I get that at first glance look like they're from my mortgage company. This letter sets an air of urgency that quite frankly is insulting to my intelligence and causes anxiety to my wife. I believe whoever these people are harvest information from public records and use that information to craft cleverly worded warnings with deceptive document layout to make their letter appear to be from whomever one has done business with. This smacks of fraudulence and an attempt to extort money from elderly people with scare tactics. None of my adult children receive these types of deceptive mailings. However, they probably will in the future if these kind of companies are allowed to continue with their deceptive practices. I want this company to remove me from their mailing list and stop sending me letters that hide their NAME in fine print to make it hard to tell who it's from.Business Response

Continue to get blatantly scam letters pretending to be from my vehicle manufacturer, despite me ever asking or signing up for this. Buying a new car shouldn't require 'opting out' of getting barraged by scam mail, this is the 2nd letter I've gotten in 6 months about vague coverage I seem to be lacking.Business Response
