I have a Levoit Dual 200S Smart Humidfier purchased for $49.99 in October of 2023. As the humidifier is smart, it requires the use of an app - VeSync. There are several features, such as turning off the humidifier light, setting timer and schedules, etc. of the humidifier that require the use of the application to fully function. My major complaint is that the app is constantly malfunctioning such that I am not able to control my humidifier and utilize the advertised features. The app regularly disconnects from the device and is unable to reconnect again. At this time, I have been unable to connect. I sought support but received nothing meaningful. They said the device was connected - this connection lasted for maybe 24 hours before disconnecting again. Ive followed all of their guidance but the device does not connect. Looking online, this appears to be common. Many people have issues with connecting their devices. I just want to be able to use the product I purchased. Im not sure who is responsible: Levoit vs. VeSync. Regardless, I just want a resolution because I am at my wits end with this humidifier and application.Initial Complaint

I purchased a Cosori Air Fryer from Amazon in March 2022. Feb 2023 was notified of a recall on the product and submitted my information to receive a replacement air fryer. Feb 27, 2023 rec'd email confirmation of my submission and given reg # ******************. Email said Cosori will review registration within 5 days & send email confirmation. Mar 2, 2023 rec'd email that registration approved. Noted replacement product will arrive in 2-3 wks. Noted certain products have a ship time of 8wks. Mar 4, 2023 Rec'd email with subject line "Please verify your address" There was no where to verify anything so I replied asking for instruction. Mar 5, 2023 rec'd email "after full approval email will be sent with tracking #. Please allow 3-8 wks for processing & shipping. I followed up with a phone call to Cosori and verifed with agent they have my correct address. Apr 4, 2023 rec'd email saying my white air fryer in high demand and has limited quantity. 2-4 mths wait time OR I can change my request to a black air fryer which is in stock and ready to ship and will ship in 2-4 wks. I changed my preference to a black air fryer. Apr 210 2023 rec'd email saying tracking # will be avail soon. May 1, 2023 rec'd tracking #. Email said may take 7 days for system to show updated progress. May 16, 2023 I emailed them to say its been 2 weeks and no update when I click on tracking number. Cosori responded by email same day saying my package is ready to ship. If I don't receive it within 15 days to contact them. May 23, 2023 I called Cosori. Now being told there are more delays and I won't get my air fryer until June or July. I contact Health Canada, who advertised the recall originally. I ordered a Levoit Core 400S Smart True HEPA Air Purifier from VeSync on 5/29/23 and it was delivered on 6/1/23. The product kept turning off in the first few minutes before it ran continuously, and I don't want a product that already has problems. I contacted VeSync to return it. There is no live person to talk with and my messages were not answered. I sent an email to their support team on June 5 and got a response on June 6 with an attached return label. The message stated I must drop off the package at ****** but the label was a **** label. I sent another message on June 6 questioning where to return the product and have not received a response. I took the package to a **** facility and they could not scan the bar code. I emailed a few VeSync executives and have still not received a response. I want to receive a working ***** label to return my product and get a refund. I have contacted my credit card company too about this issue.Very disappointing and poor customer service.Business Response

I purchased a new cosori 5.8 qt airfryer model CS158-AF through amazon.com My model had a madatory fire hazard recall which I called the company asap and filed a registration for a replacement on 4/18/23 #******************. I have emailed the company multiple times about my replacement and every time they say another 6-8 weeks which because of low inventory is ridiculous. You can go onto cosori.com now and order a a brand new air fryer with the exact same model number as mine today and ************** right away. They are purposfully stalling replacement units for the fire recall in hopes customers will just pay for another airfyer.This is the email reply I received Hi there, Thank you for contacting **. I received notification that my Cosori Air Fryer Model CS158-AF was being recalled. I submitted my claim on 2/23/2023. They did reach out requesting a better photo of one of the 3 images they required. I feel this was just a delay tactic. I then submitted another image and finally on 3/21/2023 that my Recall Registration had been approved and that I should receive my replacement within 2-3 weeks. It is now 5/15/2023 and I have yet to receive my replacement. I've contacted them a couple times, but no resolution. The first time I was told delay and may be up to 8 weeks. Then the last time I contacted them they are now saying there is another delay for the black but they could send me an alternate color. However, if you go to Amazon, you are able to order a Cosori Black Airfryer and have next day delivery. I believe this is a scam. There is no reason it should take this long. At this point I would just like to receive $150.00 so that I can purchase my own replacement.Initial Complaint

I bought a air fryer from them about 2 years ago, it broke in a year and they replaced it. The new one arrive registered it and then a year later it broke, so now even though it's under warranty. I purchased a Cosori Air-Fryer (model CS158-AF) from Amazon circa December 2020. I received notification on 2/23/2023 the Air Fryer was recalled and I submitted the recall registration on 2/26/2023 (registration number ******************). Per call.cosori.com the registration has been approved and is currently awaiting final confirmation. I contacted Cosori's customer service *************) on 3/15/2023 and I was informed by ********** (phonetic) that it could take a maximum of 8 weeks before I received a replacement product. I asked to speak to a supervisor and ********** stated a supervisor was not available and I would have to wait on a supervisor to email me within 5 business days. When I purchased this product, I didn't purchase it knowing that I would only be able to use it for 2 years and I would have to wait 8 weeks for a replacement. I used my Air-Fryer everyday and it has been an inconvenience not to be able to use my Air-Fryer. Even more troubling, if you go to www.cosori.com anyone can order a new Air-Fryer and the Air-Fryer will ship immediately. If you go to Amazon's website and order the same Air-Fryer, Amazon assures you that you will receive the Air-Fryer the next day. I cannot wait, and I should not have to wait on an Air-Fryer that I paid circa $130 (give a little/take a little) for. It's troubling and poor customer service, to make the already paid customers wait when a new customer can order a brand new Air-Fryer and have it within 2-3 days. I would like the BBB to assist me with receiving a full refund of what I paid for the Air-Fryer (I can provide a receipt) or I would like the BBB to assist me with having the same replacement model, identical color Air-Fryer shipped to me expeditiously. Summary: Purchased a product now under a recall, company is not facilitating the recall in good faith.Complete complaint: I purchased an air fryer from this company in 2020. ** 2022 the power cable had issues and finally during one use it began smoking and would not function. I purchased another one June 2022, this is still in warranty even. Now it is being recalled for the exact reason our first one died. That's fine, I followed the recall instructions and destroyed the device and filled out their form and so far the company keeps throwing issues at me preventing me from getting a replacement. Their website seems specifically engineered to frustrate and potentially stop customers from complying with the recall. I started this process 2/24 and have had my recall rejected 5 times. I do not know what more they want so at this point i have been without a product I used daily for weeks with no hope or confidence in the company to comply with the recall. On Feb 24th 2023 Cosori Air ******* were recalled due to fire and burn hazards. March 3rd 2023 I submitted an application for a replacement, I was asked to submit 3 photos (underside, front and back) of the product. My application was rejected due to a photo not showing that the power cord was cut, which was a requirement. I received another email on March 4 to re-submit another photo which I did and was told that I would receive a response in 5 business days, after 7 business days I called and was told that my case was still under review. I spoke to an agent who then told me that I needed to re-submit a better photo of the underside. I went to the recall website and tried to delete an old photo and replace it with a new one but was informed that I could not edit as my case was pending. I feel that this company is making it extremely difficult for me to get a replacement. They are not responding in a timely manner. Vesync Co owns the brand Cosori, which issued a recall on air fryers Feb 23 2023. The company directs consumer to use the website recall.cosori.com to fill out a recall form. The company acknowledged on ******* that the website was not working and would be fixed to allow for recall submission. To date, March 13 2023 the website still does not work and the company has not issued any statements or further assistance in the submissions for this recall.
