  FRAUDSTERS. Ordered a textbook, and a fake order confirmation was issued, PLUS a fraudulent tracking number. ************** to my inquiries were slow. Avoid.

  They are a scam - DO NOT ORDER BOOKS FROM THIS WEB SITE. I did not receive my order and when contacting customer service (through email only) I received a reply that stated to wait a few more days...still no book or reply from the seller. After several more attempts to contact customer service, the replies stopped coming. I was charged over $100 for a book I did not receive. I would give this site 0 stars if I could.

  SELLERS BEWARE - ALIBRIS is an AWFUL company. I paid $19.99 to try it out with the promise that I could list my collectible books for sale, only to find out I can't even log in half the time because the site is so slow. After 20 minutes of getting logged in, I found they DO NOT ALLOW YOU TO POST NORMAL PHOTOS of your books!? WTF? There is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE - they say right on the phone that they don't staff it and they make you leave a number (nobody has called back). Upon emailing, I receieved a response from ***** saying they wouldn't help or refund me.

  I bought a book from Alibris (directly, not through an affiliate), they did not deliver a book. When I called them about it they said they had a policy that if customers do not call them by a certain time period, they give themselves permission to not have to provide books that customers purchased. Their policy is not fair, but the cost of a book is not worth the time and expense of a small claim. I am posting this to warn potential customers.

  Ordered three days ago. No order in my account on ********' website despite an acknowledgment email confirming my order. . I have had a problem with this company before. They make it hard to respond and then when you finally figure out how to find them it turns out they don't answer emails or phone calls.Stay away!

  This company rates less than a star. I ordered a book on 3/29/23. Alibris has a automated phone number, and a email box that you fill out, but there has been no response. Alibris failed to send a confirmation and a time or date to expect the book. I tried to communicate many times. No response. They have my correct email, yet I receive no feedback. They provide 2 ways to order. I ordered as a guest. When I tried going through their maze of ways to contact them, I found on the contact places, that as a guest you receive no order history. They received my payment, and It seems I will not receive my book.

  I purchased a book from them. Paid for it and the item never arrived. It must be lost somewhere or was never sent. I tried to get in touch with customer service with no avail. All computer generated responses. I am out of the money I spent with them. This company seems to be a scam and i wouldn't trust it as far as I could throw it.

  Very disappointed! First they offer a coupon for $5 off first order. I had to ask about it as it never came.. and then when it did it had a minimum purchase. They wouldn't honor it.Then, I still placed an order. They had an old address, which I had changed. They shipped to old address and so post office charged additional $ to forward to us. Alibris won't take responsibility and won't refund that. Will not order from them again!

  The worst customer service I have ever experienced. There is no effective way to reach a real person by phone. The company takes days to respond to email. I accidentally hit "submit" order and tried to fix the mistake (wrong address) right away; I was told days later, by reply email, that it couldn't be changed or recalled, that it was already in the hands of the vendor--but Alibris is the vendor. The package is lost in **** and the company has done nothing to find or replace it. My requests for a refund have been ignored. I'll never shop with Alibris again; buyers beware!

  I ordered 1 book. They sent me some book thats not even close to what I ordered and its not one I can or would use. They will not cover the returnno response from the seller that they directed me to either. So, I return it at my own expense and hope I get what I ordered at some point or send it back and hope I get my money back for the original itemI pay the shipping. They offered a $5 credit for future use to offset my expenseas if!!!!
