WOW Shockingly poor customer service, you can't speak to anyone in "risk" it's ticket only. And when you submit a ticket it will be ignored for a week or more. They ended up being the poorest decision our company has ever made, then they think they will hold our customers ********************** like stripe and square apparently (they report this in their video as a way to get people to change companies) but they clearly do it. They claimed to contact our clients to verify the payments made, but claim they weren't able to reach those clients, the very same clients that i spoke to over and over from the time they asked for the information to the time they claimed they couldn't reach them, ON THE SAME NUMBERS. LOL. Avoid this place like the plague legit.Maverick Payments

1 starI strongly caution anyone against using Maverick Payments. Our experience has been nothing short of appalling and riddled with dishonesty, lack of transparency, and outright unethical practices. Heres what we endured: Deceptive Fees: Maverick Payments consistently misrepresented their fees. What was promised during onboarding was vastly different from what we were actually charged, leaving us paying significantly more than anticipated. Unjustified Reserve Fund Practices: They held over $60,000 of our hard-earned money in a reserve fund despite the fact that we had been a customer in good standing for over a year, with less than $3,000 in chargebacks during that entire period. This ratio of chargebacks is well below industry standards, and there was absolutely no justification for such a punitive reserve requirement. Manipulative Delay Tactics: When we attempted to recover our funds, Maverick Payments informed us that we would need to submit a formal request and then wait three additional months to access the money. This delay is clearly an intentional tactic to withhold funds unreasonably and harm businesses reliant on cash flow. Complete Lack of Service: Beyond their financial misconduct, their customer service is non-existent. Requests for support, clarification, or any type of assistance were met with evasion and unfulfilled ************** Concerns and Potential Violations: Their actions raise serious questions about potential violations of merchant services agreements, as well as breaches of fiduciary duty and fair dealing principles. If you are considering working with Maverick Payments, I would highly recommend consulting with a legal expert first to review their contracts thoroughly. They terminate my account without justification and their decision to hold my funds for 180 days.I have been a customer of **********************, using their services for my business, During my time with Maverick Payments, my business conducted numerous transactions without any issues or disputes. Despite my good standing and history of compliance, Maverick Payments suddenly terminated my account without providing any valid reason or prior notice.Moreover, they have informed me that they will be holding my funds for a period of 180 days before releasing them. This action has caused significant financial strain on my business, as these funds are essential for my operational needs. 1 starMedical Practice Owners Beware!As a telehealth provider, we had a highly negative experience with Maverick Payments. They banned our account without any notice or chargebacks, claiming we were breaking **** and Mastercard rules due to our online prescription services. This is patently false, as we are LegitScript certified, which means we are approved by **** and Mastercard. Only LegitScript certification holders can have a merchant account for telehealth treatments involving no card present transactions. Maverick also mistakenly listed us as an online ph***acy when we are solely the doctor *** of our practice.Despite having our attorney write a detailed response debunking their claims, Maverick has ignored our attempts to resolve the issue and is holding our funds, effectively stealing from us. Business owners should beware of Maverick Payments. They are not educated on the most current rules and standards for merchant processing and have terrible customer service. They are holding my funds with no good reasoning, didnt even partially release the funds so I can keep my business going, just handicapping me. Maverick is a horrible company. They do not know how to take care of their clients. I have been using their merchant processing for three years and suddenly they dropped my account. We have a reserve balance remaining with them over $100,000. They kept that balance and terminated our account now they continue to draft funds out of our reserve balance due to various different reasons that they are making up. Ive called them several times to ask them to release my reserve balance, and they tell me they will not release it and instead they continue to draft fees out of it. Clearly, they are keeping the money and finding reasons to deplete the reserve balance, I would beware, if youre dealing with them or plan to deal with them, they are taking my companies money.Maverick Payments

Theses people should be audited by the **** Its questionable they follow all rules and guidelines because they think they have this upper hand over people running a business smoothly, holding your money claiming there is something wrong when there never was , causing businesses financially hardship. They abuse their power, overcharge you and hold your money and not even release a partial payment which they can do very rude staff and their front end is Goat Payments so stay away from them if you can.Maverick Payments

Yes, I agree you finally released my 10K. Awful. I have been trying to close my account for over 9 days and have yet to speak to ANYONE. I had to do my own research as to how to open a ticket to request closure. I finally received a response and was given an account closure form which was handed back to them within 3 hours. I have not heard of them since. It has been 8 days since I provided the document they requested for closure.On top of that, I have been reviewing the ratings and complaints other people have and I guess I can now expect to have an issue recovering the funds in my reserve although I never had any payment issues or rejects since the account opening.Maverick Payments

1 starWORST COMPANY I EVER HAD! I suggest not to signup with this company unless you ok with them keeping money to prevent chargesbacks, i had 6 moths with them doing great, i agreed to do reserved since i have no issue before just a regular chargesback below 15$ around 2-6 disputes a month out of *****+ transactions a month. on the 6 month doing about 40k a month i request to release my reserved amount which is about 12k, they denied it saying that i don't meet the history transaction. HOW ? chargesbacks were below 6 for the last 6 months doing1k+ transaction, i provided documents like bank statements so they can verified i have funds in my account for any chargesbacks, also they don't take chargesback fees from reserved, they keep taking charges back at the end of the month from your bank account. Since they denied multiple times at 6 months of been processing with no issue, customer service said i have to wait until i get no disputes in order to release reserved funds, which is fine, but the issue comes i need to refund a customer but i CAN"T and they CAN'T do it either because my account is closed, NOW I WILL GET A DISPUTE because i can process refund anymore, now they will keep holding my money until i get 0 disputes. AGAIN, DO NOT Sign Up worst company i ever had, 2 business and this one was the worst, agent who took my application was kind and great customer service, i hope he work with another company, now im very working with another company no reserved, less % and my company is high risk but maverick deff was a bad experience.
