8x8 is a dishonest company, i have originally opened an account under my business name and i have not had access to my account. Another business took over my account and fraudulently been using my information and my account @ ********************. I opened a ticket#C5316662 and they have claimed that i was not registered on this account. I have the original order when i placed this account under my company. I need to compile a list of people who have reported negligence and overcharging by these companies. I started with three lines and received a confusing bill for $183 after a $500 credit. Ive reported them to the *** and plan to report them to the ************************************. My business relies on these lines, and their failure to fix my text messaging issues is hurting my operations. Im considering legal action for negligence and lost income, as this has caused significant stress. I've tried to resolve this multiple times, but nothing changes. At this point, I may switch to a reliable provider like *********** for $20 a month. I'm fed up with their unhelpful customer service.

Our experience with 8x8 has been incredibly frustrating, and I cannot recommend this company. As a counseling practice, clear and reliable communication is critical for us, but 8x8 consistently failed to meet this basic need. We encountered ongoing issues with text messages not being sent or received by our clients, which severely impacted our ability to serve them effectively. On top of the product failures, 8x8 auto-renewed our contract without any prior notification. We were already in the process of switching to a new provider at the time, and had we known about the renewal, we would have cancelled to avoid the unnecessary buyout fees were now being unfairly ********** make matters worse, communication with their support team has been a nightmare. Despite having a "Case Manager," I have been unable to get in touch with anyone to address our concerns. It took weeks of calling their support line, without any success, before I escalated the situation to a supervisor which has not helped at all either. Overall, 8x8 has been unresponsive, unreliable, and has caused us significant operational disruption. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for a communication provider.

DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY. We have been with this company for about 2 years. It started off ok and then it got WORSE! We were constantly having problem with the phone lines and were in the process of going elsewhere and then they sent us an email the day before our renewal date that we would be automatically renewed. I didn't think it was up yet. In the state of COLORADO by law subscription companies are REQUIRED to give us ***** days notice before our renewal date and after go back and forth, gave them an article that stated that law. They came back with, "Thank you for letting us know what our obligations are to you. we do state in our contract that it will automatically renew if we don't let them know 45 days in advance to cancel" For 1, that contract is void if they aren't following the law and for 2. they can get FINED or SUED! We are sending everything to our lawyer and maybe everyone on here that has had a hard time cancelling can join us!

Billing support is terrible. Canceled the trial license in the middle of September and they billed it anyway in October stating that it takes 30 days to deactivate. Our caller ID for the line through 8x8 is flagged as Spam even though their Sales Rep assured me that they have agreements in place with cell providers to bypass spam filters.Integration with HubSpot is lackluster.

Impossible to deal with. We are a small business and originally had 13 lines. We have tried to downsize our phone service and were charged over $900.00 to cancel some lines. They keep on sending us a bill for the cancellation and we feel it is an unfair charge. Their customer service is very lacking.

Horrible to deal with. They charged me for months of service when I hadn't started using their service. They have added licenses to my bill that I never ordered. They have change the price charged for other licenses when I have a contracted price for those lines. Then when I complain and ask for a credit I am as of today over 200 days waiting for that credit. If you aren't a very large company you will find they don't care at all about you or your issues.

If you are a business DO NOT & I repeat DO NOT do business with 8x8.I ported my number to Dialpad in Jan and 8x8 continue charging me I requested reguarly that they cancel and stop charging me, it wasn't until May that they finally stopped charging me AFTER I changed my credit card number I'm requesting a refund on money they took that they DID NOT earn and they will not return my funds.

Like most other customer reviews here, we tried to cancel our subscription due to poor customer service. They would not port the numbers over to our new vendor which caused ** miss the cutover date, they tried to charge $17,000 for an additional year of service.***** is the billing guy and he doesn't seem to comprehend what an escalation request is. He just keep emailing me the same jargon without escalating. Which probably what they trained him to do.After numerous emails and phones calls, I never heard from the Account Manager. This is almost unbelievable if I didn't see the same story repeated below.I'll contact the **** FCC my Government officials. I can definitely see a Class Action against these predatory business practices.
