On October ******* I took my dog for a checkup due to his arthritis. They ended up getting me to do bloodwork and X-rays to see if it was indeed his arthritis. He had a hot spot on his thigh that they wanted to treat but I denied services to treat it because my dog was already on a medication for it. When I payed for service I was charged for everything that was on the invoice including the clean shave and medication for the hotspot. I called after reviewing the paperwork and they said when I come in I will get a refund since I never took the medication. Now I pick up my dog at the end of the day and his whole thigh is shaved off where he had the hotspot. I told them again that I rejected services to treat the hotspot because I was already treating it and the girl at the front seat said they probably misunderstood. I was charged $126 for the shave when I called to talk to the ** I was told by I believe an office manager that he will not refund on service that was done. I said I did not want that service done from the beginning the first conversation I had with the **. ** before paying I told the ** and 2 staff. Now they are letting get a refund on the medication since I never took it but they said I have to come in to get cash. In total for everything I had done that day I payed $1,995. I asked if the ** would take off the $126 off 1 of the 2 surgeries my dog will need. The office manager said he might but when I called today 10/22/24 after still not hearing from anyone they said he will not do a refund on services that was already done even if I told them not to do it. Mind you I asked for the proof of the X-rays he took he send me 9 duplicate pictures. Barely of his knee where he said he had a ccl damage.
