I bought 3 items off this site. One of them traveled from west to east coast before finally arriving to me in *****. And not just *******, TN like ***** uses but all the way to *****. Another one took 4 days to ship out. So naturally I contacted customer support inquiring about what was going on in each case. Me contacting them is the only reason I can see for them to deny my bidding any further. I paid immediately for all 3 items and didn't have any other contact other than asking a question about shipping. I was not rude in any type of way so that couldn't be a reason either. When I ask them why I get sent a generic email again and again. So they didn't even bother to look and see if there was a mistake at all. They just arbitrarily decided I could no longer bid anymore for no reason what so ever and no one bothers to see or explain why either so be prepared to be banned at any moment at their whim even if you didn't do a single thing against the rules or rude. And absolutely don't ever contact customer support because if you ask a question about what you already paid for, even if it's a legit question like in my case you will be banned from bidding.

Thank you for your review. We're sorry the post office delayed your delivery but that was beyond our control. Question for the troll posing as customer service *** responding to the posts of people youve ripped off - which law enforcement agency (or agencies) provides the seized property? Please post one local or federal police office you work with so we can contact the county clerk to confirm that youre the authorized agent hired to administer the auction.

Thanks for your thoughts. We don't 'troll', we correct misinformation. For example, your question about our affiliation to government agencies is easily answered by anyone who takes the time to read our 'about us' page before posting here. As we mention in our about us page, our terms of service, our auction disclosures, on the bottom of every page, and in the auction listings themselves, our $1 auctions are not government auctions and we do not auction items on their behalf. We do publish data on government auctions, which is how the business started, and why we have the name. We have grown over the past 25 years to include non-government $1 auctions with over 10 million members. We have over ******* testimonials posted on the site, versus the low number of complaints you see here. We are A+ rated by the BBB. We pride ourselves on customer service and are as diligent about helping customers as we are in responding here. We hope this answers your questions. Thank you.

Thank you for your review. It's unfortunate that there are occasional lost or stolen packages in the mail. The good news is that all items are insured, and if you have not already done so, please contact support on the site so we can get you refunded for your loss. Thanks again for your comments.

I won a bid and went to pay and the website rejected my credit card and then wouldn't let me sign into my account. I asked for help and no one answers the phone but they sent me a message about fraud. This was no help whatsoever as I just wanted to know how to pay. They cancelled my win and I am not happy.I find it hard to believe that it has an A+ rating. It shouldn't.

3.6.2025-- 8:39am (pst...)About this Auction House: Sadly, I do not have a 'positive' review, it's unfortunately a 'Negative' review and for good cause.Negatives:1= As I was bidding, the clock/ticker (Which tells when the time TO BID on an Item is running out...) was down to 1 second (I was the high bidder at that moment..) and in that last second, suddenly I was told I was outbid. But there wasn't ANY WAY for me to raise my mid. Usually, Action houses give additional TIME in-case a Bidder is Our-id, so they can raise their BID to possibly be the Winning Bidder. This happened twice to me recently. I complained. And later in my email was given an Opportunity to Win thee item IF I accepted a Higher figure via email from them. (No way to know what thee In Real Time bidding was. This is not good business behavior.2= All of my Winning BIDS contained Rings & light Jewelry. I assumed, like all other Auction houses do, Police Auctions would Tally all orders into ONE small FLATE RATE **** BOX to ship to me, BUT that was NOT what they have done. Instead they have Packaged ************ Item into Its Own Box at $14.95 PER BOX, which meant that All 12 of my Orders would be place singularly into each box and I was Charged for EACH BOX IE: 12 boxes x $14.95 = $179.40 On TOP of the costs of thee items I won while bidding. ******! I emailed and expressed this travesty, this GREED GRAB which in-fact doubled some of the winning bids I'd successfully *******'s a SHAM. A Terrible way of doing business. NOT CUSTOMER ORIENTED AT ALL.I will NOT be using or attending ANY MORE of Police Auctions .com And I let them know this directly after thee Auction Ended and I realized the MASSIVE SHIPPING & PACKAGING costs added to my Invoice Total.POSTIVE: They had a wide selection of items to bid on and the bidding window worked except for #1 as I stated above.,*Cheers mates!* Always Honest, Sincere and Direct Reviews from me *************** *******

Thank you for your review. We do ship individually for security and insurance reasons. Each auction lists the shipping charges, so you know ahead of time what to expect. Many users take advantage of max bidding, which allows the system to bid for you up to your max bid. We have an exact cutoff time for bids because that is the most fair and absolute way to run the auction. You have every opportunity to place your max bid before the auction ends. Being outbid in an auction is not unusual, it is competitive after all. If you prefer popcorn style bidding, where the bid time is extended every time someone makes a bid, we are definitely not the auction site for you. Most of our 10 million users appreciate our commitment to an absolute auction and that means having a definite auction end time. Shipping can be a little pricey, but it includes packing materials, labor, insurance, and postage. Not unreasonable when you factor all of that. Thanks again for your comments.

3.13.2025- Thanks for your reply. Let me be more precise. All of these packages were:5" Wide x 2-1/2" Tall x 3-1/2 front-to-back. with a simple Flap Cover.Inside there was a much smaller Box which was:1-7/8" wide x 1-7/8" Front to back x 1-3/8" Tall. (Tiny) There was NO INNER STUFFING to keep the inner box from bouncing and rattling side to side, top to bottom etc... while in transit. So I ask you, "Do you truly call this Handling-Packaging Acceptable?" Because it is ****** for Auction houses, I have been in the Circuits for Decades ***** & Maam's. I am extremely SAVVY to how Business is done.Secondly--- upon opening some of the packages... I found thee items I bid on, to NOT reflect what was Advertised in thee Auction . . . Speaking of COLORINGs which were clearly ENHANCED to make thee items APPEAR DEEPER IN COLORING than they actually are.I appreciate thee AUCTION Itself and thee Items up for bid. But your charges for Shipping-Handling-Packaging is FAR ABOVE what they should be. You could have easily places ALL of thee 11o Boxes plus the smaller one envelope of my winning items into a Flate Rate Medium at size:11-1/4" x 8-3/4" x 6" at a cost of $15.00 for the **** Flat Rate Box and perhaps $10.00 for ******************** Please consider ALL that I have inclusively shared with you this morning. I hope it will lead to Better Business deals with your PoliceAuctions.com in the Future "Less over-charging to Customers requals more Happy Customers who shall return for more ********************** happily." Good New Day ***** & Maam's!Sincerely, *************** ******* of ******

Please help me get my money back. Policeauctions.com is a scam. I bought 3 items and am 83 years old. It is ************************ **** d

    PoliceAuctions.com

Thank you for your review. It's a perfect example of misunderstandings and unreasonable expectations. The site is not a scam. Nothing abnormal is going on. Your account is new and you purchased 3 items from us. They are in transit. Tracking shows you should have them by March 8, 2025. Our delivery times for domestic US are ***** days, you are still within the normal range of delivery. If for whatever reason the items don't make it to you, they are fully insured, you are not at risk of loss. If you are unsatisfied with the items, you may return them for a refund, but obviously, we are not going to refund you without return of the items. If you have questions, we would appreciate it if you would use the support form on the site, we'll be happy to help you. Thanks for helping clear these perceptions up.

I bought a ring. Its actually a FAKE ******** They sell Quintessence jewelry. They have nothing to do with police. $14.95 shipping for a tiny box. 15% restock fee and they dont cover return shipping

    PoliceAuctions.com

    Date: 02/13/2025

Thank you for your feedback. We test our stones with a portable stone-tester that displays the stone material, so when you purchase an item described as an emerald, it's an emerald. Also, we do not have a restocking fee, so we are not sure what you are referring to there. We stand by our products and offer 100% refund on the items if you are unsatisfied, but as noted in the return policy on the item description, we do not, under any circumstances pay for return shipping. For information on the company and use of the name, please see our about us link at the bottom of page. If you need any assistance with your return, please contact us through support, we are happy to help. Thank you.

Thank you for your review. It's unfortunate that occasionally an item can be lost in the mail. We're not sure why you didn't contact us about this directly. We insure all items. We've created an insurance claim for your item. It takes about 7 days for the claim to processes and refund to be issued. If you have further issues, please contact us directly. Our support system is very responsive and operates 365 days per year. Thanks again.
