I am not liable for the debt to ***************************. i do not have a contract with DESIGNED RECEIVABLE SOLU & never recieved one after i requested for one.

      Business response

      Greetings,

The original creditor can assign delinquent debts to third-party collection agencies to collect the debts on their behalf. While the consumer did not create a contract with DRSI, the original creditor has the right to assign the unpaid debt for collection. This is what gives DRSI the ability to collect the outstanding debt.
Despite our several attempts to contact the consumer, we have been unable to assist them in resolving their debts. We have verified with Cedars that the account remains outstanding. We will consider this BBB complaint as a dispute and update the credit bureaus accordingly. Should the consumer wish to discuss or resolve the debts, we encourage them to contact our office.

      Regards,

The consumer has provided little information in this complaint, so I'll attempt to address each line that they have submitted.
      Complaint #1:
"I am not liable for this debt with ******** MEDICAL CENTER, I don't have a contract with DESIGNED RECEIVABLE SOLUTIONS they did not provide me with original contract as I requested."
Answer #1: We have verified with ******** ************** that the debts remain outstanding and ************** is the responsible party for medical services rendered to his children and himself. There are 15 accounts that have been assigned to our office for collection. We have attempted to contact ************* multiple times to assist in resolving the accounts. He has not contacted our office to resolve, request information, discuss resolutions options, or even dispute the debts.
      Complaint #2:
we have no contract with company and they should not be reporting false information on my report without supplying original contact or agreement
      Answer #2:
The consumer does not have a contract with Designed Receivable Solutions, **** There is a myth floating around the internet about a no contract dispute between the debt collector and the consumer. The fact is, the consumer owes debts to ******** ************** and the medical provider has contracted DRSI to collect the debts on its behalf. We have verified that the account information is accurate, and we are reporting accurate information to the credit bureaus. Once again, we encourage the consumer to contact our office to discuss options that *** be available to resolve the accounts.

Since we did not enter into a contract, I wish to state that I am not responsible for the debt associated with ***************************. I should make clear that I have not voluntarily agreed to any financial responsibilities with them. Additionally, in an effort to resolve this matter in a proper and open manner, I formally asked DESIGNEDRECEIVABLE *** for the original contract that pertains to this specific obligation. Unfortunately, despite this request, they still haven't responded to my inquiry by giving me the needed documentation. Due to the complexity of the situation and DESIGNEDRECEIVABLE's lack of collaboration and transparency, I must now seek out more support and explanation in order to successfully resolve this issue.
