      Hi ******,

At BriteCap, we take pride in our ethical business practices and are honored to have supported thousands of small businesses across ******* with financing solutions.

Our direct mail solicitation is an invitation to apply for business financing, not a credit card. This invitation is based on qualifying information we receive from major business credit bureaus. Final approval for funding depends on verifying certain business characteristics, including recent business revenues and ownership. The business names and associated owners/principals are provided to us by these credit bureaus. Occasionally, there may be inaccuracies in the information provided. When we become aware of such discrepancies, we promptly correct our records and advise recipients to contact the credit bureaus to ensure their information is updated.

We hope this clarifies any misunderstandings. Additionally, we have identified the record for the mailer you received and have marked it as "do not mail." Please allow up to 30 days for this update to take effect across our system.

      Thank you.

I received a pre-authorization for a business loan/card. I am not a business and furthermore I am not interested in obtaining a loan or card from them. Due to current information environment, I am concerned about fraud or unintentional activation of cards or loans. I did not see any opt out options on their literature and am wary of using their website or toll-free number, having no knowledge of this company. PLEASE help me opt out of any and all future communication from them and facilitate removal of any of my data from their systems. THANK YOU.

We deeply regret Mr. ***** negative experience applying for financing from BriteCap.  The mailing ************ received was an offer of business financing.  While Mr. ***** offer was based upon qualifying information we received from business credit bureaus, we regret that we were unable to provide Mr. ***** business with financing at this time.  While we have opted ************ and his business out of receipt of any further marketing from BriteCap, unfortunately, we are unable to delete the information provided by ************ about him and his business as part of an application for financing, because federal and state law requires lenders to retain information provided by applicants in connection with any credit transaction. However, Mr. **** can be assured that BriteCap does not sell any applicant information to third-parties and employs industry-standard best practices to protect applicant information. We are very sorry that ************ had a negative experience with BriteCap, we wish him and his business the best in their future endeavors.

April 9, 2024 - I received in the mail an invitation for one of my former employees to have a business credit card under my company's name. This employee has not worked for me for over 6 years and he worked for me when I was at a completely different address. It is very alarming to me that Britecap seems to be sending out invitations for people to commit fraud at my company's expense. I don't know how you got my new address and associated this former employee to my company after so many years but this is an obvious attempt to have someone fraudulently obtain credit at my expense. There is a credit card enclosed with the fraudulent invitation with an account date of 3/29/2024 and the account number *******************. The recipient has until 4/26/2024 to activate the card by simply scanning a QR code , visiting a website or calling a phone number. Since neither me nor my firm was ever contacted, I can only imagine how easy it would be to have someone who receives this to obtain credit that Britecap would eventually hold me liable for. The mail is addressed to my former employee giving him the title of "Executive" but he was always just a clerical worker. Britecap must be pulling data indiscriminately just to get people to obtain credit cards that they can charge fees from without taking proper precautions to prevent fraud. If BBB allows this company to continue having a good rating, BBB would be condoning this behavior which is irresponsible at best.

i received an offer from the named company with an enclosed credit card that i did not request. The card has the name ******************** ( I have never heard of this person), the card had my actual business name on it and my actual address, whe I contacted the company for an explanation, they told me they got the information from Equifax, which is a lie. I don't know if this a scam, but I'm concerned they have my business information attatched to someone else's name.

Got a credit card for my BROTHER send to my home address which is also the address of our small business EYE PHYSICS LLC, owned by me, my spouse, and my brother. It was not asked for. I don't trust businesses that send unsolicited cards in the name. I talked to them and they said it was a marketing tool. Looked like a credit card to me. If it had been stolen out of my mailbox, I can just see the mess that would happen. I told them I had just destroyed the card and I didn't want any further contact from this company. We don't want or need any line of credit. We are doing just fine. We have no employees either. I consider this type of unsolicited stuff to be a bad business practice and unethical. It should be illegal.
