    Deceptive! Purchased the 60-second eye effect. Loved it. Received a discount offer so I purchased it again. That second purchase subscribed me to an automatic monthly renewal without informing me. I called the number in the unexpected order confirmation email I received in the middle of the night a month later. I got someone who clearly handles these angry calls all day. All her replies were scripted and she tried to resolve the issue by suspending my subscription rather than cancelling it. I insisted she cancel it permanently. Time will tell. In the meantime I'm going to block payment from them. Based on these other complaints here I would not be surprised if they tried to charge me again. I would have continued as their customer had this deception not occurred because the product really worked for me. But now I do not trust this company.

    Order and had a subscription. Cancelled the subscription and they went ahead and sent 2 more to me and now I cannot get back on their site to return. I had told them when I cancelled that it didn't work for me and they were glad to cancel my subscription, but went ahead and sent me 2 more when I was only getting 1 on the subscription. I talked to an online chat person named *****. Apparently he didn't understand the fact that I no longer wanted the product. And my email is no longer on their site. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!

    If I could do no stars, I would. Purchased a tube of their 60 Second Eye cream in January. Did not sign up for a subscription, but two months later, I get an email from PayPal informing me that a transaction is pending for another tube. Westmore purposely makes it impossible to get through to their customer service, whether its by live chat or email. Filed a fraudulent claim with PayPal, so well see what happens.

    Received the same canned response theyve given everyone else who complains about being put on the auto replenish, when they never signed up for it! Your site is not user friendly by any means. Every time I tried to perform an action to stop the shipments, I received a message that there was an issue. You have a noreply email address!!! So the only option is to call. Oddly enough, after I posted this complaint and one on Instagram, I received a prepaid return label in my email. While Im glad I did, its just damage control.

    I received an email between apparently around midnight thanking me for my order. I didn't place the order. I placed ONE order a few weeks ago, somehow received a second bottle of the same product, and now I'm being charged for a third. This unexpected charge was premature and well before my month was up. I rarely trust forced subscription services because of things like this. There is no customer service email and I'm not interested in chatting with a bot online or going through an automated phone system in my effort to unsubscribe. It's too bad. It's a product I would use but I only want to order it when I need it instead of having to order a subscription.

    I have received one shipment and my autoship is still on the way. However, I need to cancel my subscription and there is ABSOLUTELY no way to get in touch with them. Site keeps telling me my email/password ** incorrect and they post they will email me a link to sign in or reset password *** no email is ever received...WHAT A SURPRISE!

    STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I only wish I could give it 0 stars!

    Horrible! I never received my order. I called and was told my bank refused the charge. I called the bank and they stated the company never submitted the order. I called back and asked to speak with someone in ****** and I was denied. I asked for a supervisor and I was denied. After reading the reviews, I guess I should count my blessings I didn't get caught ** in the scam. It's really too bad cause I love the products but I will NEVER waste my money on them again!

    Intentional deception. When you go to their website and get a list of body products, you can click on the color if offered and click "Add to Bag." By doing this, they automatically sign you up for their subscription service where they will send it to you every 30 days and charge your credit card. You have to click on the product where it opens up to another page that allows you a one time purchase. When you try to cancel the subscription on their website, it never works. Called them and got a return address but they are making me pay for the shipping! I received an email that cancelled my subscription after claiming to report them to the BBB. Not happy about the deception. If I get charged again, I will call the credit card for fraud.

    Horrible service. Customer service does not exist. On June 20, 2022 I ordered the Body Coverage Perfector makeup online through their website. Upon completing the order I noticed that the shade was not what I thought I had ordered. I tried to contact customer service ASAP so the shade could be corrected. The LIVE Chat was a virtual assistant who was not able to help me. Calling their customer service number wasn't any help either; they said they couldn't help me because I had placed the order on line. Finally after 2 days of trying I was able to get a human being through the Live Chat who assured me that the order had not shipped and that he was able to make the correction for me. A few days later my order arrived and it was NOT the corrected shade. I returned the order to the address provided to me through Chat. Through tracking I was able to see that it arrived July 1st. Now, a month later, I still have no refund. I tried customer service through Chat several times but had trouble getting the link to Chat to actually work. Finally I was able to get through, however after waiting for a Live representative for more than 30 minutes I finally gave up.

    Deceptive. Scam. Beware. I just wanted to try this product and was then enrolled automatically in a monthly subscription. To my surprise, the amount of subscription for the same item is triple the amount of my order. I was told that the subscription comes out in a different size, so I wanted to cancel it right away. So to cut it short, when I see another charge on my card, take note, that the agent said that the amount of the product was divided into 3 payments, so that product would cost me more or less 150 bucks! Insane! I canceled it and I asked for a return label, I waited and didn't receive one. So when I called again to follow up, the agent I spoke to mentioned that it was beyond 90 days and that they cannot accept the returns and that this matter is already in the collection agency. Again, insane and unacceptable and a scam! I insisted that I do not want the product, and I canceled it beforehand, to which they know, it's been ready to ship it back to them. I was charged for the shipping of this item so I needed to ask them for the return label. The agent wasn't able to help me, said she spoke to her supervisor. I don't know if the supervisor will give me a call to resolve this. But at this time, I was told that this matter is already for collection. Unbelievable!

    On 6/12, your financial institution reversed 2 out of the 3 payments for your 2nd shipment. While these chargebacks created a credit in your favor with your financial institution, it restored this balance due to Westmore Beauty�® and activated the past-due billing process which sends monthly balance reminders. Per your phone call on 7/21, it was confirmed that your shipment was no longer within the Money-Back Guarantee period.

    Although our records do not reflect any returns have been received to present date, as a goodwill gesture the balance created by the payment reversals has been cleared. Please consider any invoices received after this correspondence to have crossed in the mail.
