When signing up for a subscription service to this business, I was falsely presented with being able to unsubscribe at any time. Not only is this not true on their website (there is no way to unsubscribe online, or at least no accessible way), but even when calling to explicitly cancel this service, they only "skipped a month" (and lied to me about my subscription being cancelled - I only found out through an email about an upcoming payment to them). I have been extremely clear about not wanting their subscription service, but they refuse to remove it. I have since continued to "skip the months" and am in the process of having my debit card cancelled simply so they cannot continue to charge me for something I do not want. I am rejecting this response because:The company needs to change the formatting for cancellation. They can tell me I can just call or go online to cancel until they're blue in the face, but that doesn't address my statement of cancelling online being unaccessible or at LEAST not obvious and my experience in calling for cancellation also not being an accessible way to cancel. I TRIED to cancel online, I searched every little obvious tab of their website, and was only ever able to find the "skip the month" option. I TRIED to call and cancel, and I explicitly stated that I wanted to cancel my membership several times, and even when told my membership was cancelled, they only continued to "skip the month." They lied to my face!
Until this business makes cancellation of their subscription service accessible and easy to find on their website, I will not be satisfied with their actions and I will continue to call them a scam that hides the ability to cancel their membership. It is not enough that they rectify my personal desire to have my account cancelled; if I could have simply cancelled it myself I wouldn't have had to take this formal route. Other consumers need to know that as of the time of this complaint, cancellation is not guaranteed when they sign up even when taking every action they claim will allow you to cancel.
So far, the only accessible way I've found to get my membership cancelled has been a combination of getting an entirely new debit card and making a formal complaint to the BBB. Any reasonable person would find this unacceptable.

I made a one time purchase, and was automatcally enrolled in a monthly membership without my knowledge. I was billed twice before I noticed the charges on my credit card, on June 10, 2023, and again a month later. Fabletics choose to cancel my ability to have a VIP membership account or order anything through the site after I won a dispute with my bank. I contacted the company before filing the dispute to try and seek resolution but was told there werent any options for me. Quite an interesting customer experience considering Ive purchase 20x the amount from the company and only disputed a single order after contacting them about in incorrect shipping address that Fabletics and their shipping partner could not address.Business Response

I spent over an HOUR on the chat trying to get out of some "VIP" membership i unknowingly signed up for apparently because of the deals on the scrub set. The chat was EXTREMELY hard to get ahold of. I made a purchase, requested to cancle the **** in which i was ONLY told to "skip the month." Then very quickly the chat CANCELED my order, which they NEVER said they would do in the entire HOUR i spent there and quickly ended the chat. So I call instead, think a real person could help me. The person goes on to talk about the benefits of membership when I stated I NEEDED the scrubs, I am a nurse practitioner and I NEED new scrubs for a hospital I am temporarily working at. Then says theres nothing he can do about the WRONGFULLY cancelled order. This brand is sneakily trying to get people entrapped in this "VIP" membership and its disgusting. I now have to go through ANOTHER company and pay expedited shipping for a set of scrubs that I already thought were coming. The scrub set line will not get very far if you continue to do this. I will proudly state to ANYONE who expresses their interest in these scrubs that it is a waste of time.Business Response

Thank you for contacting through the BBB. Our records show that we were contacted on 12-29-2021 for cancellation of the account, however an endowment of $10 was offered and an agreement of keeping the membership was confirmed. There was no other contact after this date.
I have successfully cancelled the membership, you will no longer be billed. I have also refunded the 13 member credits on the account totaling $749.35, kindly allow 5 to 7 business days for the refund to appear. For the remaining credits, all promotional member credits will expire 12 months after the date of issuance. Per the new terms and conditions that were opted in on 10/20/2021 on the account , the reinstatement of those credits is no longer possible due to the age of the initial transactions. Hi, I purchased 4 pairs of shorts from Fabletics on 8/8/2022 assuming it was a one time purchase and thought that was the end of my business with them. Just tonight I noticed they'd been charging my credit card $59.95/month for the last 7 months and $54.95 for 4 months before that. $639.45 I need refunded. Member ID: *********. I never would have agreed to an almost $60 monthly fee if I'd known because I was only ever interested in workout shorts which range from around $12-$40. I can't believe how predatory this is. Who would pay a monthly fee for the OPPORTUNITY to shop at a clothing store?! It's so unheard of, it never occurred to me that a business would do this. The company also essentially spams emails. 315 emails in 11 months, literally multiple a day sometimes which creates white noise so that you'd never notice if there was an email reminding you to skip a month or let you know you're being charged $60. But that doesn't even matter because as far as I can tell, none of the emails even mention the "member credits" except for the small, "legal notice" looking print at the bottom. It's pretty shameless. I haven't even visited the website since that first purchase before tonight. And again, even if I was interested in something beyond workout shorts, the majority of the products seem to be under or well under that $59.95 monthly fee. I purchased an outfit in May. Then someone created a "membership" account with my daughter's last name and date of birth stating military discount (husband was in military). I did not notice bank charges of ***** for the month of June and July. I went online and found the fake account. I called and they stated I had clicked a "promotion". That is completely false and the membership account is fraudulent. I ended having to press a customer service support person who canceled my account and stated they would issue a refund and provided a transaction number. I am rejecting this response because:i did not click on anything in regard to a membership. Someone created a fake membership account with my daughters last name and date of birth. That membership account is fraudulent and different from the account i placed an order with. *********************** is the order account. *************************** is the fraud account.
