I bought my mom a ****** Villains blanket - they are rolled up inside of cardboard tubes and sealed with plastic - for Mother's Day. When she opened it, it was not a ****** Villains blanket. It was some cartoon design that neither of us recognized and even ****** Lens could not identify! I didn't have the reciept because why on Earth would I keep it when I only bought a handful of expired food items and a brand new and sealed little throw blanket for my mother. I was told they could look it up with my card. Thank goodness. They'll right this wrong. I have the card I paid with and my I.D. with my at all times, perfect. I waited in line and then was guided to a different checkstand that was empty to await a manager. The manager - I have his name - finally came up and I showed him the absolute scam and pointed to the "****** Villains" blankets they still had on their shelves, explaining to him that this is legitimately fraud and false advertising and showed him that this cartoon is not even a ****** villain and how embarrassed I was when my mother opened it. He would not do the return, even when I asked for just store credit. They would not look up my transaction, they would not use my I.D. , they would not do anything for me. I was in tears; I was so angry and now even further embrassed. I am on a fixed income as I battle stage 4 breast cancer and they spat on my situation and could not care less about what they did or hold any accountability for the items they sell. I have never left a review on BBB but I've also never been scammed by a legitimate company either!Grocery Outlet Inc. ( Corporate Office )

3 starsI buy wine regularly from the local G.O. But I am offended by the "Elsewhere" prices! They border on fraud. And then they are reflected in the "what you saved" total on your receipt. Puhleez...Don't get me wrong. Total Wine has their own scams going (one guy rating the wines way too high). And I will still look for bargains at G.O. But I urge Grocery Outlet to stop insulting our intelligence.Review fromRose R

I'm a regular customer at the *********** store (I shop about once a week). In the beginning, everything was nice, the store was neat and employees were nice and professional. Lately, the aisles are little messy and employees are not very friendly. My last 4 visits were disappointing to say the least. I was in line at the register where the customer in front of me was given a paper bag by the cashier and didn't charge the customer for the bag. When it's my turn, the cashier asked me if I wanted a bag and I said yes and I told her I want the plastic and she said it's 15 cents and I said fine. However, she gave me the thin/flimsy bag that are given free by other grocery stores. I checked my receipt and she did charged me 15 cents for the bag. The next week, I went there again and the same thing happened again. The cashier charged me 15 cents for a thin/flimsy bag. She gave the next two customers the thick/reusable bag. The following week, again the same thing happened. The customers in front of me were given the thick/reusable bag but I was given a thin/flimsy bag. This time I asked the cashier why she gave me a thin bag and she said they ran out of the thick ones. I let it pass again. The next week, I went there again and again the cashier gave me a thin/flimsy bag when the customers before me got those thick/reusable bags. Again I asked the cashier if they have the better, thicker/reusable bag and she said no. I went outside the store but this time I waited outside for the next customers to see what bag they will get and sure enough, they got the better, thicker/reusable bags. I even asked the customer if he heard me asking for the thicker bag and he said yes and he also wondered why the cashier said they didn't have the thicker/reusable bag. I didn't want to make a scene and have a verbal fight with the cashier so I just let it go and decided to leave a review/comment here instead. I will also be leaving the same comment in YELP.Grocery Outlet Inc. ( Corporate Office )

My complaint is with Grocery Outlet location in ***** ******* (Dale County.) The caucasian cashier employee's are so racist toward African Americans. Every time when an African American cashier was hired, the white casier women run them away! I limit going to Grocery Outlet in ***** ******* to grocery shop, because the Caucasian white women cashier's are so racist until they stink! Another thing, other Grocery Outlet locations doesn't charge a surcharge on some food items, but ***** ******* Grocery Outlet location is a ripoff!Grocery Outlet Inc. ( Corporate Office )
